Julie Su is the acting labor secretary in the Biden administration. Biography
Su received a B.A. from Stanford University and a law degree from Harvard University. She worked as litigation director for Asian Americans Advancing Justice L.A. from 1994 to 2011. Su served as chief of the Division of Labor Standards and Enforcement from 2011 to 2018 during Governor Jerry Brown's (D) tenure. In Governor Gavin Newsom's (D) administration, she served as the secretary of California's Labor and Workforce Development Agency.[3]
