Morgiana from Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves-I enjoyed this story! Morgiana is a bad ass! This story should be called Morgiana and the Forty Thieves or Morgiana Saves Ali Baba's Ass Yet Again 😂 Great story and gives a little glimpse into Arabic culture. I listened to the audio version by BJ Harrison which I highly recommend! Audio book is only 1.5 hours long, a very quick read. || Severino Baraldi, Ali Baba and The Forty Thieves

It's been a while since I did an art post so I dug into my drafts folder and found these gems to share. They are one of the set of fairy tale illustrations by the prolific and amazing Italian painter, Severino Baraldi. You can be forgiven if you're from the US or UK and not aware of his work.
