"Every year for Christmas my parents would put our Christmas gifts in Santa bags. My mom still pulls them out every year for my siblings and I. This year I decided to make Santa bags for my own children and I'm sharing just how in this tutorial. To make one bag takes about an hour and cost depends on the cost of your material but my bags cost about $5 each to make."

How to Make a Santa Sack You will need: 1.5 metres of your favourite Christmas fabric 1.2 metres of cord/ribbon Cotton Thread Scissors

This Santa Sack is great for bulky gifts and is sized at 18 x 27 inches. I used the Classic Laundry Bag pattern which is a great size for holding a number of gifts. The front of the sack features a coordinating fabric and pompom trim. You could use ricrac, lace, or any other embellishment on the front of the sack. I think the pompom trim is very festive, don’t you? These Santa Sack’s look great under the tree on Christmas morning.
