BRENDA | Toronto Foodie & Recipes on Instagram: "Matcha Hong Kong Egg Tarts 💚  Since my grandma perfected her egg tart recipe, I thought why not change up the flavour with matcha!   • 4 medium eggs • 118g sugar • 228g warm water (to dissolve the sugar well and reserve 2 tbsp for whisking the matcha) • 2tsp match powder  • frozen tart shells  Bake at 375F for 15mins (should still have a slight jiggle in the centre). Turn off the oven and open the door to leave a slight gap. We want to start cooling the egg tarts but still allow just enough heat to finish baking the centre without overcooking them! This leaves a very nice silky centre.
