Well, when our teeth are too close together, it increases the likelihood of grinding and clenching. In fact, the space between our teeth is called freeway space. When our Posture is impaired, or we have restrictions of the head and neck region, the freeway space becomes limited. If you experience this discomfort it’s highly likely that the position of your ribcage is connected to this issue!

The ribcage provides the base for our head to sit on, and so many muscles that attach to the neck/head start at the ribcage. So the positioning of the ribcage has a direct effect on the load placed on our necks throughout the day. 

In this exercise we are focusing on lengthening and relaxing the muscles that are pulling on your neck WHILE addressing the weakness that is causing your ribcage to flare on that side for longer lasting relief 👏🏻 💆‍♀️
