On a rare clear summer night in Los Angeles, Buck urged Taylor outside so they could look at the stars. “You want me to stare at stars?” she asked in disbelief.
“Just go with it,” he told her.
“Alright, whatever.” They sat down on the balcony chairs and looked up at the sky. “I’m already bored.”
“Naturally,” Buck snarked right back at her with a laugh.
At least it was a calm night, not frantic like it normally was. “Are we planning on wishing upon a star, Buck?”
“If you want, Taylor.” He winked at her and she chuckled.
The two of them thought about their own, separate wishes and didn’t tell the other, hoping they’d come true.
