Chapter Text
The two of them had returned on May 15th, 1986. Annie was outside, wearing a red short sleeved blouse with some blue jeans torn at the knees, her mother's medallion, and some white shoes. She had her hair curled. Marty got out of the De Lorean quickly and ran over to her.
He cried, "Annie!"
Annie turned to Marty and asked, "Marty?" Before she could ask a question, Marty gave her a big hug and kiss. Annie returned the hug and kiss, astonished. Marty broke out of the kiss and kept her close. Annie asked, "Are you okay? What happened in 1931?"
Marty started to answer but then noticed the stuff in the yard. He frowned, "I thought you wanted to stay, Doc…?"
"Well look who's back!" A familiar voice said behind him.
Marty turned on his heel, seeing Clara and the boys with her. And there was Estelle. She had her silver hair back in a bun, wearing a pretty pink blouse with blue jeans and blue shoes.
Marty did a double take, "What the…?" He turned to the Brown family and asked, "What are you doin' in '86?"
Jules was confused, "We are having a garage sale."
Marty was still confused, "A garage sale?"
Verne confirmed, "Yeah father is just selling a few things."
Marty turned to Estelle and asked, "And…why are you here in Hill Valley?"
George interrupted before Estelle could explain, "Marty! You're back from your trip!"
Annie greeted, "Hi Uncle George!"
Marty replied, "Hello Dad."
George asked, "Sellin' off the family treasures, eh?"
Doc chuckled, "Not quite but I hope you find something you like."
George turned to Marty, "Speaking of which, did you find what you were looking for?"
Marty turned to Doc at that moment, "Yeah, I sure did."
George replied, "Great! Hey, is that a box of Asimov?"
With that, George walked inside. Annie giggled.
She said, "Same ol' Uncle George."
Marty didn't let go of her hand since he came back, "No kiddin'." He turned to Estelle and asked, "So why are you here?"
Estelle answered, "I'm only here for the day. Just helping my brother with the garage sale and spending time with Clara and the boys. Actually, I wanted to speak to you for a minute, Marty. Alone?"
Marty nodded as he excused himself, kissing Annie's hand before he left. She giggled as Marty went off to the side with Estelle.
He asked, "What is it Estelle?"
Estelle questioned, "You and Michael Corleone were one and the same, weren't you? And Carl Sagan and Emmett were one and the same?"
Marty started to ask, "How did you…?"
Estelle interrupted softly, "Emmett isn't the only one that has the fourth dimensional sense. But what I don't get is why Carl Sagan was acting so differently during the Expo?"
Marty told her, "That was a different version of Doc but that version wound up marrying Edna Strickland."
Estelle did a double take. Marty tried to explain what had happened the best that he could but Estelle seemed to understand.
Estelle muttered, "So that's why I was feeling betrayed… Citizen Brown was trying to stop Emmett from going through his demo. It's just insane."
Marty nodded, "Yeah and now I gotta try and tell everyone else this story."
Estelle reassured, "You'll figure it out. I know you will."
He turned to Doc and his family now and asked, "Let me get this straight. Are you tellin' me, you live here now? In 1986?"
Clara confirmed, "Sure have."
Doc added, "She's right, Timmy and Annie had been very instrumental with our move."
Estelle told him, "I am still living in Dimmsdale, a very successful dentist."
Jules stated, "We maintain a part-time residence here, with going to see Aunt Estelle a lot."
Verne asked, "Wasn't that the case when you left…?"
Marty answered sadly, "...no…"
Doc thought for a moment, "Strange. I can't think of a reason not to stick around. After all, I've got our late father's foundation to supervise. If I wasn't here, who'd present the annual Erhardt Brown Scholarship for Young Scientist?" To that, Marty chuckled. Doc looked at him, confused, "What's so funny?"
Marty reassured, "I'll tell you later."
Annie asked, "Didn't you have something to give us, Doc? You were mentioning it before."
Doc perked up as he went inside briefly. He brought out the two books.
Doc and his family said, "Happy graduation!"
Marty and Annie were both confused.
Marty started to say, "Graduation? But that's not for another…" That's when Doc presented the book to Marty and a book to Annie. Marty read, "The McFlys of Hill Valley."
Annie then read hers, "The Baines of Hill Valley."
Jules told them, "Father had been working forever on those."
Verne replied, "Even Timothy and Aunt Estelle helped."
Clara nodded in agreement, "Very true but Timmy loves you two just as much as we do."
Doc replied, "These are exhaustively detailed histories of both your families, from your great-grandfather Seamus to the present."
Estelle responded, "And as for Annie, from her great-grandmother Diane to present."
Annie and Marty are both tearful.
Annie told him, "Aw, Doc this means a lot…"
She hugged Doc tightly and he returned it, smiling.
Marty asked, "So that's why you were in 1931?"
Doc confirmed, "Yes your Grandmother Sylvia was proved to be something of a mystery."
Clara added, "So after talking with me, he decided to go back in time."
Marty was in tears now, "This is great, Doc! Thanks!"
That's when he hugged Doc too. Doc returned the hug. The cousins parted out of their hug after a bit.
Doc placed a hand on Marty's shoulder, "It's the least I could do for the man who saved me multiple times - even making the worst mistake of my life!"
"Yoo-hoo! Dr. Brown!"
Doc and Marty both turned as they saw Edna there with Einstein.
Clara waved at her, "Hello Edna!"
Edna smiled, "Hello Clara! I hope you and the boys are doing well."
Clara confirmed, "Yes, we are."
Estelle added, "Good to see you, Edna."
Doc asked, "But why is she walking Einstein?"
Jules answered, "She's giving him his daily walk?"
That's when a car pulled up.
"Hey, dollface! It's past three-thirty!"
Marty and Doc did a double take, "Kid…?"
Annie turned to Marty and asked, "Marty, what is it? What's wrong?"
That's when George came out of Doc's place.
Edna told Kid, "Coming sweetie!" She turned to George, "Mr. McFly? Have you seen my stepson anywhere?"
George called, "Oh Biff! I think you're late for an appointment."
Biff came out of Doc's place and chuckled, "Oh gee, you're right, Mr. McFly." He then waved to Marty and Annie, "Bye Marty! Bye Annie!"
With that, he walked with Edna.
Annie regarded Biff, "Bye Biff!"
George commented, "Don't they make a great little family! You'd never thought they met in prison."
With that, George walked off. Clara, Verne, Jules, Estelle, and Einstein went inside. Doc and Marty eyed each other. Annie saw their look and was instantly confused.
She asked, "What? What is it? What's wrong?"
Doc answered, "We'll explain inside."
Marty added, "As long as there are no more surprises."
Annie semi joked, "I don't know, there might be a sudden bunch of future Marty's that just make our life crappy."
Marty shot her a look jokingly as he followed his girlfriend inside. Doc wasn't too far behind, just glad that his family was together safe and sound. It didn't take Marty long to start telling the story.
…
The End.

Wishmaker1028: Thus ends the rewrite of the BTTF games! I am currently working on a new project but as of right now, I won't say what it is. I'm hoping to either start this new series either in January or February. So for now, please read and review! And always think outside of the box!
