Things to Apply to a Face

Summary:

Kaoruko is exhausted. With Basier stronger than ever, she needs to work hard enough to match. Thankfully, she shouldn't be interrupted while doing so.

Chapter Text

Kaoruko was training, again.

Ever since Sayo had unlocked her new form, she was the only one able to go head-to-head with Basier, and fights between those two often ended in a perv-off, which was so fucking frustrating, Kaoruko had signed up to punch things, not get groped.

(Especially by a villain like that. God, Basier was-)

Her fist slammed into the tree, cutting off the thought. No. She would focus. She was the dependable rock who protected her teammates. She wouldn’t get distracted by how much skin their enemies showed.

She jumped back, as if dodging the swipe she would no doubt get in return if fighting Basier face-to-face. Taking a breath, she let a shield shimmer into existence before her, her fists still sparking with energy. Vatz was right, fighting with them was exhausting, but it was so exhilarating that she wouldn’t ever give it up.

Right now, she needed to get better at taking blows. Basier’s attacks, once easily repelled, now cut through her shields like a hot knife through butter, and she would break them whenever Kaoruko tried to use them against the other members of Enormeeta. It was almost like the girl had eyes on the back of her head!

Still, there wasn’t much she could do. With her shields useless, her fists were her best option, but if she overextended, she would end up limp on the ground. Not good if Eenormeeta stuck around, as it left her with no choice but to drop her transformation.

If there was one thing she was grateful Basier did, it was always end their fights before fully exhausting the combatants. Though it often left her itching for another battle.

Leaping forward, the barrier flickered away as Kaoruko sent out a flurry of blows. Her fists whistled through the air, her breathing heavy as exhaustion set in. But one final punch shattered the tree that was on the receiving end of her attacks, sending splinters flying away. Dropping the magic around her arms, she did some final stretches before going to retrieve the magic barrier she used to avoid getting ambushed while training.

Only to find a shard of wood spearing it, the heart snapped in two.

“Fuck me.” That was coming out of her paycheck.

“Oh, Sulfur, of course!”

Spinning, Kaoruko threw out a punch, magic flaring back around her arms. Basier danced away, wings fluttering in the noon sky. She stood out easily, the dark purple of her outfit contrasting with her pale skin and STOP THINKING ABOUT THAT YOU IDIOT SHE’S ATTACKING.

Ducking forward under the swipe of Basier’s crop, Kaoruko slammed an uppercut into the villain’s chest. But where before that had been able to force a hurried retreat, this time Basier didn’t even flinch, merely smiled down at her.

“Always so quick to violence, aren’t you.”

Kaoruko shoved her back, using the momentum to get some distance. Magic crackled around the duo, yellow sparks met with purple strings. This was the worst. She was exhausted from training, and both Sayo and Haruka were busy. Still, she wouldn’t back down. Here she was, complaining about how Basier always ran off, and now the girl popped up to attack her.

A grin formed on her face. Well. If Basier wanted to win, Kaoruko sure wouldn’t make it easy.

Glancing around, it didn’t seem anyone else from Enormeeta was nearby. “You all alone today? Shame. I wanted to pummel Leoparde for what she did to Magenta last time.”

Basier smiled, showing off razor-sharp teeth. “Hm. Yes. I need to test out the limits of this new form. And who better than a magical girl so focused on getting stronger.”

“Well you caught me riled up to go!” Kaoruko dashed forward. Every second spent not beating Basier to a pulp was one she was wasting keeping her gauntlets summoned. If Basier’s form was anything like Sayo’s, it would drain her of energy quick, but this fight had started just when Kaoruko was tired from training. A battle of attrition wouldn’t go well.

Basier hung in the air, her crop outstretched. A series of swings send black beams streaking down at her foe, but they were slow and small enough Kaoruko could doge them easily. Her fists glowed as she closed the distance.

Until Basier’s silhouette changed.

Long, ink-black tendrils extended from beneath the villainess’ dress, writhing and reaching out towards the hero who had gotten oh-so-close to her foe. They moved incredibly fast, binding Kaoruko mere inches from Basier’s face.

“Do you like them? I wondered what would happen if I used my crop on my outfit, and these came out. Of course, I could and suckers at the end if you want me too.”

The only thing keeping Kaoruko from shutting down in fear was that these weren’t tentacles, writhing appendages seemingly with a mind of their own. She still had nightmares about squids, the countless teeth on each limb tearing into flesh as they dragged you down into the deep. No, these were truly tendrils, stationary extrusions plants used to support themselves. She had no problem with those.

Until she though of the fact that they were using her as support, and in doing so locking her close enough to Basier that she could make out the twinkle of the stars in her eyes.

“Blushing, are we? How cute.”

Fuck! She was already out of it, following her training session, and now this! She was going to scream once she got out of here. But the bindings held fast as Basier brought up her crop and ran It under Kaoruko’s chin.

“I wonder. What would happen if I used this power on your outfit?” The crop moved down her chest, catching on each button. “Could I control you through it? That might be fun. Force you to fight your friends, while you struggle against my power. You’d be trapped in these garments, knowing it’s me who’s making your every move.”

She needed to do something. Basier was so close, but the binds pressed against her skin, leaving her helpless. “Or I could just keep you like this, a frozen trophy. I could put you up in the base, a reminder of my victory.”

No, she wasn’t helpless. And there was one thing she could do with her mouth that Basier would never expect. Kaoruko grit her teeth.

Before leaning just barely forward and ghosting her lips against Basier’s.

The villainess froze. Kaoruko was close enough to watch as countless tiny stars on her cheeks lit up, painting her face a bright red.

She followed up that peck on the lips by wrenching a fist free from the tendrils and adding it to the things applied to Basier’s face in the last few seconds.

She fell from the sky like a comet, a crater forming where she landed. Kaoruko was quick to follow her to the ground, breathing hard. She didn’t have anything left in the tank, meaning that punch would determine the outcome of their fight.

But after a moment of silence, she moved forward. The dust had settled in the crater, but Basier was nowhere to be found. It seemed like she had managed to fight off the forces of evil for yet another day.

Then what she had just done hit her, and she wanted to punch herself. But her Magical Girl form faded as she dropped to the ground, fully exhausted. It took everything left in her to text Haruka to come pick her up.

And every second waiting she spent remembering just how soft Basier’s lips were.

“I’M GOING TO FUCKING KILL HER!!!”

Kiwi’s voice echoed through Nacht Base. Currently frozen by Nemo, she was raging against the shadows locking her in place.

“HOW DARE SHE TAKE UTENA’S PRECIOUS FIRST KISS! LET ME GO NEMO! I NEED TO GET VENGANCE!”

Utena was doing no better. Curled up in a ball with her face as red as a tomato, her eyes were unfocused as she looked off into the distance. Korisu stood beside her, a worried look on her face.

Nemo sighed. Another day of dealing with the new members of Enormeeta, and it was going just as well as always. At least Korisu called her before sacrificing any toys to the barrage of bombs Kiwi let out at the news that Sulfur had kissed Utena.

Fuck. Sulfur had kissed Utena. She had gotten slightly used to the lewd goings-on that seemed constant with Utena in charge, but that was going a step beyond.

At least, Nemo thought it was. Until Utena stood up.

“If I just kiss all of them, then it makes the kiss just another part of our battle. Kiwi.” The girl in question stopped shouting. “I need to practice.”

Nemo slapped a hand to her forehead. God. She needed a better job.

Chapter Text

It had been several days since the . . . incident at Kaoruko’s training grounds, and though she was still very conflicted with how that encounter had played out, it did get Vatz to set up a proper training grounds for the girls. But even with their golems working, it would take a few weeks.

As such, Kaoruko was getting antsy, leading her to set up a perception-blocking barrier in an abandoned hotel. It was far enough that no one would notice her exercises, and with the barrier source behind a wall, she shouldn’t accidentally damage it this time.

Of course, merely two minutes into her reps, a spike of magic nearby had her jump into the air, flying towards it.

What she found was just like her worst nightmares. Basier loomed over Haruka – Magenta. Gotta call her by her Magical Girl name. Magenta was on her hands and knees, breathing hard with her face flushed. Basier’s smile was wicked, but it didn’t seem like Magenta had been hurt at all.

It didn’t stop Sulfur from slamming a fist into Basier, who blocked it with her crop.

“Ah, the girl of the hour. I was wondering when you would show up.”

Moving between Basier and Magenta, Sulfur glanced around. She didn’t see any monsters under Basier’s control, but given their last encounter that didn’t mean much. She sent a mental message to Magenta, asking for info.

What she got back was an exhausted “mouth . . . “before it cut as Basier moved forward, launching black beams and forcing Sulfur on the defensive. These were a far cry from the ones from their last fight, the first one easily shattering the hasty shield and knocking the wind from her lungs, and the second slamming her into the wall. Basier stepped over Magenta towards her.

With the wall as support, Sulfur got back up. Another beam whistled through the air, but dropping her gauntlets, she summoned three shields in a row. The blast shattered the first two, but the beam dissipated as it impacted the third, though it took the shield with it.

Okay. She can do this. She just needs to buy enough time for Magenta to recover, then-

Basier crossed the distance between in a flash, hands grabbing Sulfur’s as the heroine was pinned to the wall.

Alright, new plan.

Sulfur’s leg shot out, but the wall behind her shifted, and another shove from Basier had her sink into the stone, it hardening around her as the villainess moved her face closer.

“What, no kiss this time? A shame.”

Summoning a gauntlet, the wall burst apart and Sulfur swung. This time, Basier grabbed her forearm, and smiled. Sulfur grinned back, her eyes locked onto the stars in Basier’s. “Not like a surprise attack works twice in a row. Would have thought you knew that.”

Slamming her forehead into the villainess’s chest, the other gauntlet flared to life and Sulfur fell back, before rolling to her feet. Lunging forward, she let out a barrage of blows that Basier deflected, the force of each one pushing her back. Ducking low, Sulfur feinted an uppercut.

Instead, a right hook had Basier crashing into a hastily erected barrier. Where before Sulfur had her back to the wall, now Basier was the one pinned. It shattered as Basier dodged, but Sulfur ducked low under a swing of Basier’s crop and swung her foot out, taking out the villainesses’ feet from under her. And with nothing behind her, Basier fell to the ground.

Fuck. Sulfur was exhausted already. But it had been so long since she had a fight like this. Yellow sparks swirled around her skin as she jumped back, narrowly dodging the kick of Basier’s leg. The villainess rose to her feet once more, and Sulfur could see the sweat on her as well. She lunged forward.

Only to have her momentum stopped as her clothes froze in place.

“Something wrong?”

The smug look on Basier’s face was infuriating. Dropping her gauntlets, Sulfur tried to move but found herself still as Basier approached. She reached out, one hand trailing across Sulfur’s cheek.

“Hm. You look so cute like this. A figure, for me to pose.” Basier’s words rang true as she pulled Sulfur’s body close. “Though you look much better in motion. Sorry for interrupting our little fight, I’m on a bit of a time limit.”

Basier brought their faces together. “But first, I need to reward you for your performance.”

Once again, their lips touched.

This time, Sulfur thought she was prepared for it. She had gone over how it had felt in her mind following their fight, purely for future reference, of course. She needed to be ready in case it happened again. And knowing Basier’s enthusiasm for lewd activities, Sulfur made sure she remembered just how she tasted, how chapped her lips felt. So she didn’t get distracted while fighting. Of course.

They were smoother, this time, with an added taste of strawberries. After a moment Basier pulled back.

“Oh, that makes you look so cute.”

A wave of her crop lead a small winged mirror to hover besides Basier’s head, showing Sulfur just how exhausted she looked – and the black lipstick on her lips.

A quick glance at Basier confirmed that her lips were the same color. But the movement had Basier move in for another kiss, running her tongue across Sulfur’s lips. Sulfur kept them shut tight as Basier prodded at them, looking for an opening.

That opening came when Basier pinched Sulfur’s side and swallowed the gasp of pain from the heroine. Her tongue pushed in, writhing in Sulfur’s mouth. Sulfur tried to bite down on the invading muscle, but Basier’s hand came up and pressed in on her cheeks, forcing her teeth to stay apart.

Basier’s tongue ran across Sulfur’s teeth, before winding its way around her tongue. Tugging it forward, Sulfur’s tongue found it’s way into Basier’s mouth. The taste of strawberries was overwhelming, and Sulfur let out a gasp as Basier pulled back for a moment, before diving in once the duo had gotten a chance to breathe.

Like before, Basier pushed her tongue into Sulfur’s mouth. But where before she had contented herself with merely exploring it, this time more and more of the muscle worked its way into the heroine’s mouth. It filled her, covering Sulfur’s teeth and staining her tongue with the strawberry flavor, until there was no space left.

Then it began to work its way down Sulfur’s throat.

Sulfur gagged on Basier’s tongue as it wormed its way down, blocking off her airflow as she began to choke. She tried to struggle, but her clothes froze her in place as Basier brought up a hand to grab her hair and pull her head down. She loomed over Sulfur as she pulled back, a smile on her face as her tongue still writhed in Sulfur’s throat.

Sulfur felt lightheaded as Basier’s tongue finally retracted, pulling out with a slurp. It hung from her mouth, long and prehensile as it ran over Sulfur’s lips, licking up the drool that had dribbled down her face from the penetration. Once it fully returned to Basier’s mouth, the villainess snapped, and the magic keeping Sulfur in place faded, sending her crumpling to the ground.

“Was that too much for you? Poor dear.”

Sulfur growled at Basier’s disappointed tone. Channeling the last of her energy into her arm, her gauntlet flared again – before flickering away, leaving the heroine breathing hard on the ground. Basier smiled. “Ever feisty.”

Lifting into the air, a black vortex formed above her. She kissed her hand, blowing it towards Sulfur. “Until next time.” Vanishing into the portal above, Sulfur moved to lay on her back.

Well. She had been one-upped from last time.

God, she could never eat strawberries again without remembering this.

Utena came through the portal, her transformation fading. Looking up, her eyes landed on Kiwi, who was standing nearby. “Mrrf mrf!”

Kiwi smiled and walked over, sticking her fingers into Utena’s mouth and pulling out the piece of candy inside. The strawberry fruit-by-the-foot was sticky and covered with saliva. It didn’t stop Kiwi from popping it into her mouth.

Utena’s eyes went wide. “Kiwi! Don’t eat that!”

Kiwi’s response was muffled, but after a few chews, she managed to speak semi-coherently. “It was this or make it a family heirloom.”

“I-“ Utena’s face was flushed, but she shook her head and grabbed a bag off the ground. “Nevermind. Has Azul started her speech yet?” Kiwi shook her head, and a black portal opened before Utena which she rushed through. Kiwi smiled at her antics.

She pulled out her phone and shot a text to Matama.

[thanks for giving utena the idea of using candy to extend her tongue, want me to ask her to do something like it for you?]

The thumbs down she got in response made her laugh.

Notes:

Listen Kaoruko's fear of squids is totally valid they can and will kill you if you go swimming with them.
