Giyuu had been gathering his and tsutako things all week, The abortion ended up being successful, he knows it was the best decision to make.. Giyuu had sighed before he ended up taking a seat on the floor he was currently alone in shinobu and mitsuris estate given the married couple offered to take tsutako out for dinner before they end up leaving the county. Giyuu wasn’t sure if he’d ever come back or if he’d visit again but one things for certain he knows he wants to make sure that tsutako is safe from demons in this country. For a split second Giyuu noticed the picture that was grabbed by mitsuri and shinobu when they went over to pick up his and tsutakos stuff from sanemi. It was a family photo the 3 took, giyuu picked up the picture as his expression visibly changed.“Why am I so stupid?” Giyuu whispered out loud as he felt tears perk up in the tear ducks of his eyes..He basically destroyed his family for a fling moment, one thing he is grateful for is that he aleast has tsutako with him.
*knock knock*
Giyuus ears perked up as he heard someone knocking at the door, it must be Shinobu and mitsuris returning. “Coming!” Giyuu called out as he quickly wiped away the tears that were threatening to flow over his cheeks.
Once Giyuu opened the door his eyes widened with surprise as he looked down at the person…It was…Obanai. Obanais expression was unreadable as he muttered out giyuus name. Before giyuu could shut the door on the shorter male he forced his way inside. “Hey! This isn’t my house you can’t be forcing yourself in here!” Giyuu exclaimed as he narrowed his eyes at obanai, to be frank he isn’t mad he showed up but rather that he just walked in here without asking. “Your…Leaving?” Obanai said as he stood still, his voice dripping with desperation. Giyuus anger disappeared slightly as there was nothing but pure silence between the ex lovers. “Who…Told you?” Giyuu asked how did he manage to find out? “I heard it from the grapevine..” Obanai said before giyuu gritted his teeth. “Why…Why did you tell him!?” Giyuu asked he wanted answers. Obanai juts starred at him. “Giyuu…We couldn’t keep hiding it anymore after…This happened.” Obanai said as he pointed to giyuus stomach.

Giyuu sat their in silence as the reason for obanai telling shinazugawa about their affair wasn’t no longer there. Giyuu put a hand over his stomach. “How could I forget..” Giyuu said hes almost tempted to tell obanai what sanemi did after finding out about the affair, but he choose to stay silent given the bruises stay hidden underneath his clothing, the only visible thing was the broken nose, but it has healed to where it’s actually believable that he fell don’t and hit his nose. Giyuu sighed as obanai spoke once more. “Giyuu please you can’t leave..Especially not when you’re pregnant with my child.” Obanai begged but Giyuu just walked back a little. “Obanai..I’ll be fine on my own out there..” Giyuu said as he choose to bite his tongue and not tell him about the abortion. “Giyuu please I’m begging you..” Obanai said as he walked forward and hugged Giyuu tightly, he was hesitant to put a hand on giyuus stomach.
“Giyuu please I don’t want you to raise our child alone..Let me come with you…I’ll help you…I’ll retire as a hasira for you please you..” Obanai had begged but Giyuu just gently pushed obanai away. “Iguro…” Giyuu began he knows that obanai won’t stop begging and pleading until Giyuu agrees so instead..He decided to tell him. “I’m not pregnant anymore..” Giyuu finally said as he watched obanais expression. “You..Had an abortion?” Obanai said he felt his throat hurt from the urge to cry. Giyuu nodded his head. “It was for the best…There was no way I could be able to take care of another child alone while I already have one..” Giyuu said as he gave an apologetic look. “I’m sorry obanai..” Giyuu had apologized as the tears obanai had been fighting back finally decided to fall. He felt so devastated but than again it wouldn’t be fair if he decided to have a child with his ‘ex husbands’ best friend.
“Giyuu..” Obanai said through choked tears. “No it’s..Why-You..” Obanai struggled to get a sentence out..He still loved the man infront of him it hurt to see him leave. He always wanted ti have a family with giyuu..But he knows he can’t live in a fantasy anymore he has to come to the reality that he’ll never get that….He still regrets getting drunk that one night and cheating on what was once his boyfriend, maybe if he didn’t get drunk that one night…maybe they’d still be together and have a kid..Obanai couldn’t take it he ended up running out of the house he felt like a sharp knife had been plunged through his heart.
Giyuu himself couldn’t take it anymore as he felt the tears from earlier and from now well up and fall out..Fuck he hated this why did he ruin his family for obanai? A man who literally cheated on him..But it hurt that this was their last meeting before giyuu left..Giyuu decided it would be good to cry out all his emotions he’s been feeling over this past week and just…let it all out…
~At the airport~
Mitsuri and Shinobu where their to say goodbye to their friend and tsutako, Giyuus eyes were visibly puffy from the crying he did earlier..He was gonna miss this place but..He knows it’s probably for the best that he never comes back. “I’m gonna miss you!” Mitsuri had cried out as she hugged Giyuu tightly tears streaming down her face as she said her final goodbyes to Giyuu. “I’m gonna miss you to..” Giyuu said before the tight hug was broken.
After all that…Giyuu was finally getting on the plane as he held tsutakos hand. Looking back he saw both Shinobu and mitsuri waving goodbye to them, tsutako was also waving goodbye to the couple. Despite all this…Giyuu knows he’s gonna feel guilty for the rest of his life for what he had done..But part of him knows he deserves it…
