Summary
Peter Parker has been Spider-Man for 6 years and Peter has known loss. Crime fighting and saving the city he can do with his eyes closed and for no thanks needed, but he just wishes he doesn't have to do it alone. Losing the last person he ever cared about, Peter is thrown into a deep pit of depression and even though he tries to carry on his responsibility of being Spider-Man, he's struggling.
Not wanting to face the horrible truth, that he is truly alone in the world, he thrusts himself into his hero work on top of his alter-ego responsibilities. It's not until a certain mercenary, looking to change his ways and redeem himself, Peter is on his guard and apprehensive to allow Deadpool the second chance he so desperately wants, but he eventually finds friendship in the anti-hero and is hopeful he doesn't ever have to be alone again.
