BOOM!
Before Bondrewd could finish, Goku lunged forward with a speed that made the air ripple. His punch connected with Bondrewd's chest, sending the scientist flying through a row of containment pods, shattering glass and metal. Bondrewd staggered to his feet.
"Such vigor. But you'll find I'm not so easily dispatched."
Goku didn't respond-his actions spoke louder. He dashed forward again, this time delivering a brutal knee to Bondrewd's midsection, followed by an overhead slam that drove Bondrewd into the metal floor. The impact left a crater, shaking the lab and toppling more equipment.Bondrewd pushed himself up,his body contorting unnaturally.
"Marvelous! This level of power is extraordinary!"
He exclaimed, almost gleeful. His helmet glowed as he blasted a Gangway toward Goku. Goku dodge the beam with ease as he raise his hands,he gather his enegry into his palm.
"Im ending this now!"
Bondrewd's eyes narrowed behind his helmet. He fired a barrage of beam and lasers, the lab erupting into chaos. But Goku powered through, his energy blast growing larger and brighter.
"KA... ME... HA... ME."
Bondrewd made one last desperate lunge, but Goku was faster.
"HAAAA!!!"
The beam shot forward, engulfing Bondrewd entirely. The lab trembled as the overwhelming force obliterated the scientist and a chunk of the facility, leaving nothing but emoldering ruins.Goku stood amidst the rubble of the lab, his chest heaving, his golden hair shimmering faintly as his Super Saiyan aura flickered. He thought it was over. The grotesque machinery lay in ruins, the children in the containment pods were safe, and Bondrewd’s sinister presence had been obliterated.
Or so he thought. A low, ominous hum filled the air. The shattered remains of the Umbra Hands scattered across the lab began to twitch. One of the fallen bodies jerked upright, moving unnaturally as it took Bondrewd's helmet and place it onto its head. His eerie, calm voice echoed once more.
"Magnificent," Bondrewd said as he stretched his newly commandeered limbs.
"To face such overwhelming power and still persist... This is truly enlightening."
Goku spun around, his jaw tightening.
"What is this, some kind of resurrection technique?"
Bondrewd chuckled, flexing his regenerated body.
"You didn’t think I’d place all my faith in a single vessel, did you? My work transcends mortality itself. Behold, the fruits of true perseverance."
Goku's fists clenched, his aura flaring back to life.
"You’re using those bodies like tools... Just like the kids."
Bondrewd raised a hand.
"Let me show you the brilliance of my methods."
The remaining Umbra Hands swarmed into the room like a wave of shadows, cutting off Goku's path.
"I shall leave you with my finest assistants, please, entertain them for me."
With that, Bondrewd vanished down the corridor, his Umbra Hands blocking Goku’s pursuit. Goku growled, his aura flaring as the first wave of Umbra Hands lunged at him. Their synchronized movements and relentless attacks forced Goku into a defensive stance, deflecting their strikes with blinding speed.
"You coward!"
Goku shouted, delivering a spinning kick that sent three of the figures flying. Another rushed at him, but he countered with a blast of energy, reducing it to a smoldering heap. Despite his strength, the Umbra Hands kept coming, their sheer numbers overwhelming. Goku leapt into the air, raising his hands to charge a quick blast.
"GET OUT!" he yelled, unleashing a burst of energy that cleared the room in a blinding explosion. The smoke cleared, revealing the Umbra Hands regrouping, their relentless nature keeping them from staying down for long. Goku’s eyes narrowed.
"I don’t have time for this. Those kids need me."
He raised two fingers to his forehead, preparing to use Instant Transmission. But as he tried to lock onto Bondrewd’s energy, he felt it flicker and split, as if Bondrewd were intentionally masking his movements.
"Damn it," Goku muttered.
"Guess I’ll have to take care of you guys first!"
The Umbra Hands lunged again, their movements erratic and unpredictable. Goku met them head-on, dodging and weaving through their attacks while delivering devastating blows. The lab shook with each clash, sparks flying as machinery was torn apart.
---
In the dim, oppressive corridors of Bondrewd's lab, Nanachi and Mitty led a small group of frightened kids away from the containment pods. Nanachi’s dirt-streaked face was set with determination, her messy, short hair swaying as she glanced over her shoulder.
"Keep moving," she whispered urgently, gripping Mitty’s hand tightly.
"We can’t stop here."
Mitty, round-faced and wide-eyed, stumbled slightly as she clung to Nanachi’s side.
"But what if he finds us?"
Nanachi bit her lip.
"He won’t. We just have to find that golden-haired guy. He’ll help us."
The children behind them whispered nervously, their small feet pattering against the cold metal floor as they tried to keep up. The faint hum of the lab’s machines was the only sound, but it wasn’t long before a new noise broke through—the rhythmic, metallic clanging of Bondrewd’s Umbra Hands approaching.
Nanachi froze, her heart pounding. The sound was getting closer.
"Nanachi," Mitty whispered, her voice shaking. Nanachi glanced around, spotting a side passage.
"This way," she hissed, pulling Mitty and the others into the narrow hallway. She pressed herself against the wall, peering around the corner.
Just then, the sound of heavy, metallic footsteps filled the corridor. The children froze, their breaths hitching. Emerging from the shadows, Bondrewd’s ominous figure loomed, flanked by his Umbra Hands.
"Ah, my dear children," Bondrewd said, his voice calm and unnervingly polite.
"You’ve wandered so far. Come back now—it’s for the greater good."
"No!" Nanachi yelled, stepping in front of the others.
"Stay away from us!"
Bondrewd tilted his head, as if amused by her defiance.
"Your courage is admirable,Nanachi."
Before anyone could react, one of the Umbra Hands lunged forward, snatching Mitty off the ground.
"Mitty!" Nanachi screamed, reaching for her friend, but another Umbra Hand blocked her path.Nanachi’s desperate screams echoed through the dark, metallic corridors as Goku landed in front of the Umbra Hands, his aura blazing with intensity.
"You’re not taking any of them!" He dashed forward, a blur of motion, and struck the Umbra Hands restraining Nanachi, shattering their entire body and scooping her into his arms.
He turned to Mitty, his hand outstretched to save her as well, but Bondrewd had already retreated into the shadows with the remaining children.
"Mitty!" Nanachi screamed, thrashing in Goku’s arms.
"We can’t leave her!"
Before Nanachi could protest further, Goku raised two fingers to his forehead. In an instant, the world around them blurred, and they reappeared in a quiet, forested clearing far from the horrors of the lab. Nanachi stumbled as Goku set her down, her small frame trembling with fear and anger.
"Why did you bring me here?!" she shouted, her voice breaking.
"We have to go back! Mitty... the others... they’re still there!"
Goku knelt in front of her, his expression both gentle and resolute.
"Listen to me,i had to get you out of there first. You’re safe now, and I need you to stay that way. I can’t fight him and protect you at the same time."
"But—"
"I’ll save them," Goku interrupted, his voice steady but filled with determination.
"I promise you, I won’t let him hurt Mitty or any of the others."
Nanachi’s tears fell freely, but she nodded, clutching the edge of Goku’s gi with trembling hands.
"You better bring her back, you have to..."
Goku placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder, his golden aura calming slightly.
"I will. Stay here, and don’t move."
With that, he raised his fingers to his forehead again.
---
The forest faded in a blink, replaced by the cold, sterile walls of Ido Front. Goku stood alone in the heart of the labyrinth, his sharp eyes scanning the eerie, dimly lit corridors.Bondrewd suddenly appears behind Goku, his voice cool and calculating.
"Before you take any drastic action, I must implore you to consider the consequences. Among those in this base, there are a number of 'experiments' that still have lives within them. If you bring this place down, they will be destroyed along with it."
Goku clenches his fists in anger, his mind grappling with the dilemma that Bondrewd has presented. The thought of destroying the base and inadvertently causing harm to the innocent lives within is not something he takes lightly.
"Damnit... You're putting me in a tough spot."
Bondrewd looks at Goku, his expression impassive.
"I am merely presenting you with the facts. You must weigh the cost of your actions. Are you willing to be responsible for the deaths of the innocent within this base, just to put a stop to my work?"
"..."
Goku raises his hands and charges up the iconic Kamehameha attack, the energy crackling and building around him. He doesn't say a word as he prepares to use the technique on the base, his determination unflinching.
Bondrewd watches in silence as Goku charges up the Kamehameha attack, his expression still emotionless. He doesn't appear alarmed or concerned, just calculating and observing.
"How stubborn."
"LIFE IS NOTHING WITHOUT FREEDOM!YOU HAVE ALREADY TAKEN AWAY THEIR HUMAMITY."
"I WON'T LET YOU TAKE ANYONE ELSE!"
The Kamehameha wave blasts out from Goku's hands, enveloping Bondrewd in a torrent of energy. The force of the attack is powerful enough to end the scientist's life, at least for the time being. Goku takes a moment to catch his breath, his chest heaving with exertion. He knows that Bondrewd will likely find some way to return, but he pushes the thought to the back of his mind for now.
"I need to find the other..."
He could sense the faint life forces of the remaining children—terrified but alive. Following their energy signatures, he dashed forward, blasting open doors and tearing through barriers as if they were paper.
"Hold on, kids!" Goku muttered under his breath, his fists clenched. From behind, a Umbra Hand fired a blast—a direct hit to Goku’s chest.
The energy struck his heart, sending a searing pain through his body. Goku staggered, his aura flickering as he clutched his chest, blood dripping from the wound.
"MISTER!" one of the children screamed, their voices filled with panic. Bondrewd’s tone remained calm, almost pitying as he walk into the room.
"Such a shame. Even a warrior as formidable as you can fall when faced with superior strategy."
Goku fell to one knee, his breaths ragged as the pain surged through him. He clenched his teeth, his eyes blazing with determination despite the injury.
"This can't be it..."
The children huddled behind him, their tearful eyes filled with desperation.
"Please don’t give up!"
The children's panicked cries echoed in his ears, but their voices felt distant, as if coming from a far-off place. His breathing was labored, every inhale a sharp reminder of how close he was to collapsing. The weight of the blow was unlike any he had ever felt before. Through the haze, he saw Bondrewd-calm, confident, and merciless-step closer to the frightened children huddling behind him.
The scientist's cold, calculated steps echoed in the chamber as he approached.
"No.."
Bondrewd reached out, but his touch wasn't for the child nearest to him; his fingers were poised to grab the smallest, the most terrified of the group, a frail little girl no older than seven. And it was then, in that agonizing moment, that something inside Goku snapped.
He wasn't thinking anymore.
There was no strategy, no plan-only the unyielding fury of a father protecting his children.
"NO MOOORE!"
With a guttural roar, Goku launched himself forward, his speed unrelenting despite the injury. His fist shot out, a blur of golden light that collided with Bondrewd's helmet, sending the scientist flying back with a sickening crunch. The sound of metal cracking filled the air as Bondrewd's body hit the wall with a force that shook the entire lab.
Goku stumbled but didn't fall. His breath came in short, jagged bursts, each one more painful than the last, but his resolve burned brighter than the agony in his chest. Goku's body was on the edge of collapse. His vision swam, and his breaths were shallow, but the fire in his chest—the need to protect—still burned fiercely.
He turned toward the children, still frozen and terrified in the corner of the room. He had to get them out of there—now. With every ounce of strength he had left, Goku raised two fingers to his forehead, his golden aura flickering faintly.
"Hold on, kids."
In an instant, his aura flared as he activated his Instant Transmission. The world blurred, spinning around him, and before he knew it, the children were safely in a forested clearing with Nanachi, who was waiting anxiously. Goku made sure they were settled, taking a moment to check that the kids were alright, despite their obvious fear. Nanachi rushed to them, her eyes filled with gratitude and concern.
"Mister! You—"
"Stay with them,"
Goku said softly, trying to ignore the dizzying sensation that swept over him. His hands shook from the effort, but his gaze remained focused.
"I’ll be back. I have to finish this."
"But—" Nanachi started, her voice breaking. "You’re hurt...mister, please—"
"I'll be fine," Goku reassured her, his voice firm despite the exhaustion pulling at him.
"I won’t let him hurt anyone else. You’re safe here."
Nanachi hesitated, her gaze flickering between Goku and the children, but she nodded in understanding.
"Be careful..."
With a final, determined glance at the children, Goku turned and disappeared once more in a flash of light. His heart was still heavy with the knowledge of how much damage Bondrewd had caused, but he wasn’t about to let that man continue his twisted work.
---
Bondrewd stood in the center of the wreckage, his pristine composure shattered along with the half-broken helmet that once concealed his face. The sight was grotesque. Beneath the fractured mask, his face was a patchwork of twisted scars, unnatural grafts. His single exposed eye glinted with an eerie, cold light, staring directly at Goku. Goku stood still, his chest rising and falling heavily from exertion, but his piercing gaze never wavered.
He couldn’t hide the disgust that flickered across his face as he took in the true visage of the man who had caused so much suffering.
“So, that’s what you really look like,”
Goku said, his voice low, tinged with anger.
“I guess it fits someone as digusting as you.”
Bondrewd chuckled, the sound warped and hollow, his voice echoing unnaturally through the broken lab.
"What you see is merely the cost of progress,to ascend, one must sacrifice. But you wouldn’t understand—you lack the vision to grasp the brilliance of my work."
Goku took a step forward, his golden aura flaring brighter.
“Your ‘work’ has cost countless lives. How many kids have you hurt? How many more would you have sacrificed!?”
Bondrewd tilted his head.
"Every child, every life, is a necessary piece of the grand puzzle.Do you think destroying my body matters? I will always return."
Goku’s fists clenched, his knuckles whitening as his energy spiked.
“Then I’ll keep destroying you, no matter how many times it takes.”
As he spoke, Goku closed his eyes briefly, extending his senses. He reached out with his ki, feeling for the object that was keeping Bondrewd tethered to the living world. His mind raced as he searched for the faint, unnatural energy that bound Bondrewd’s soul to the vessels of his Umbra Hands. When he found it, Goku’s eyes snapped open.
A faint, ominous pulse resonated from deep within the lab—a hidden chamber that radiated the same sinister energy as Bondrewd.
“So that’s it,” Goku muttered, his sharp gaze locking onto Bondrewd.
“You’re using something to keep your soul jumping between bodies. How many vessels do you even have left?”
Bondrewd chuckled again, though there was a faint edge of uncertainty to his voice.
"Enough to ensure my work continues. But you are correct—my soul is eternal. It transcends this flesh. As long as my vessels remain, I cannot be stopped."
“Then I guess I’ll just have to destroy every last one of them.”
"You are a stubborn one, aren't you? I can see now that you won't be turned away from your course of action easily."
Bondrewd voice is cold but there's a hint of resignation in his tone.
"One last piece of advice. There are certain things in this world that are better left alone. Sometimes, the cost of knowledge outweighs the benefits."
Goku grits his teeth, his brows furrowing in response to Bondrewd's words.
"That's exactly the problem,no one should have the power to play with lives like they're just pawns in a game."
Bondrewd speaks in a calm, measured tone.
"You speak of pawns and games, but what do you really know about sacrifice? Have you ever had to make the hard choices, the ones that weigh the lives of the few against the salvation of the many? My work pushes the boundaries of knowledge, my sacrifices are a necessary evil in the pursuit of progress. Can you say the same about yours?"
The scientist's justification for his actions only served to fuel Goku's frustration.
"I've made plenty of hard choices. I've sacrificed myself countless times to protect those I care about. But I NEVER sacrificed innocents for 'progress.' That's not true sacrifice—it's selfishness disguised as science!"
With a burst of speed, Goku charges at Bondrewd, his body moving with incredible momentum. His face is set in a determined expression, his mind focused solely on ending the scientist's malevolent reign.
The lab trembled as Goku and Bondrewd squared off, Bondrewd's massive tail snapped forward like a whip, gleaming with a metallic sheen as it sliced through the air toward Goku. Goku raised his arm just in time, catching the tail mid-strike.
The force of the blow sent a shockwave rippling through the lab, but Goku’s grip was unyielding.
"Oya,oya."
Bondrewd chuckle beneath his mask, and with a flick of his wrist, the tail jerked free. Before Goku could react, Bondrewd raised his other arm. A device on his elbow began to glow ominously, charging with energy.
"Sparagmos."
The searing beam tore through the air, but Goku was already moving. In a blur of golden light, he sidestepped the attack with ease, the beam scorching a path of destruction behind him.
"That’s not gonna work,"
Goku said, his tone sharp. Bondrewd clicked his tongue, motioning to his Umbra Hands.
"Then let us see how well you fare against all of us."
The remaining Umbra Hands sprang into action, surrounding Goku in a synchronized assault. Beams of concentrated energy erupted from their weapons, crisscrossing the room in a deadly barrage. Goku darted between the beams with fluid precision, his movements almost too fast to follow. Each blast that missed him tore into the lab’s already weakened walls, causing rubble to rain down around them. He weaved through the chaos, closing the distance between himself and Bondrewd.
Bondrewd’s tail lashed out again, this time aiming for Goku’s legs. Goku jumped, flipping over the strike and landing with a thunderous impact that shook the ground beneath them. Before Bondrewd could retaliate, Goku was in front of him, his fist driving toward Bondrewd’s face. The scientist raised his arm to block, but the sheer force of the punch sent him skidding backward, his boots carving deep grooves into the floor. Bondrewd motioned to his Umbra Hands, and they unleashed another volley of beams, the air around them heating from the concentrated energy.
Goku’s instincts took over as he moved like a blur, dodging and deflecting the attacks with ease. His golden aura left trails of light as he closed in on Bondrewd again, this time aiming for the device on his elbow. "Not this time!" Goku roared, his fist smashing into the device. Bondrewd staggered back as sparks flew from the broken machinery, his expression twisting into a grimace.
"You’re more troublesome than I anticipated,"
Before he could regroup, Goku turned his attention to the Umbra Hands. He raised his palms, charging energy between them.
"This ends now!"
With a deafening roar, Goku unleashed a wave of golden energy, obliterating the Umbra Hands in a single, overwhelming blast. As the debris from their battle settled, Goku’s sharp senses extended outward, searching for the source of the unnatural energy that tethered Bondrewd’s soul to his vessels. Before Bondrewd could react, Goku placed two fingers on his forehead, locking onto the exact location of Zoaholic’s energy signature. The air around him shimmered, and in a flash, he disappeared, leaving Bondrewd behind in the wreckage.
Goku reappeared in a hidden chamber deep within the lab’s underground. The room was cold and sterile, lined with strange machinery that hummed faintly. At the center of it all stood a glass-like container, glowing faintly with a sinister purple light. Inside the container was Zoaholic—a pulsating, living object that seemed to breathe with unnatural rhythm. Goku approached it cautiously, his expression hardening. The object is digusting and exuded an unsettling aura, one that made the hair on the back of his neck stand on end.
This was it—the source of Bondrewd’s immortality, the device that allowed his soul to leap between vessels. He could almost hear the voices of the children, their fear, their pain. The memories of the countless lives Bondrewd had sacrificed fueled his resolve. With a surge of energy, he unleashed a powerful blast, the beam tearing through the air and striking Zoaholic dead-on. The room shook violently as the container shattered, releasing a burst of dark energy that rippled outward.
The energy fought back, twisting and writhing as if trying to resist its destruction. Goku gritted his teeth, pouring more power into his attack, his aura blazing brighter and brighter.
"You're done, Bondrewd!"
With a final, earth-shattering explosion, Zoaholic was destroyed. The dark energy dissipated into nothingness, leaving the room eerily silent. Goku lowered his hand, his breathing heavy but steady.
---
Bondrewd stood amidst the ruins of his once-imposing lab, a place he had proudly called his "home." The air was heavy with dust and the lingering hum of broken machinery, and the faint smell of ozone hung around him, remnants of the fierce battle that had torn his sanctuary apart. He scanned the wreckage, his single exposed eye flickering with something uncharacteristic—a shadow of uncertainty. The lab, the Umbra Hands, Zoaholic... All of it was in ruins. The brilliance he once boasted about was now nothing but rubble.
For the first time, Bondrewd felt it—a tremor in his chest, a shiver in his hands.
Doubt....?
He raised his trembling hand, staring at it as though it belonged to someone else. His mind raced, trying to grasp what was happening. He had never known fear, never felt the creeping uncertainty that now gripped him. His work, his progress, had always been absolute, unquestionable. But now, in the face of failure, in the wake of Goku’s relentless resolve, something inside him faltered.
"Why...?" he muttered to himself, his voice barely audible.
"Why am I trembling? This... this is alien to me."
The ever-present certainty that his vision was supreme, that his sacrifices were justified, began to crack. Before he could delve deeper into his spiraling thoughts, a flash of light interrupted the silence. Goku appeared before him in an instant, his golden aura flickering around him like wildfire. His sharp, determined eyes locked onto Bondrewd, piercing through the fractured man.
Bondrewd stiffened, instinctively raising his head to meet Goku’s gaze. The trembling in his hands didn’t stop, but he forced himself to stand tall, his composure barely holding. His eye scanned Goku, taking in the weariness hidden behind the Saiyan’s strength. But there was no hesitation in Goku’s stance, no cracks in his resolve. It was utterly foreign to Bondrewd—a resolve that wasn’t born of calculation or necessity but something deeper.
Finally, Bondrewd forced a weak chuckle, though it lacked his usual confidence.
"You’re quite the anomaly, you’ve undone so much... destroyed what I built. Yet you stand there, unwavering. How curious."
Goku didn’t flinch, his fists tightening at his sides.
"This isn’t curiosity. It’s over. No more experiments. No more kids. This ends now, Bondrewd."
Bondrewd’s mechanical tail whipped behind him, sparks flying from its damaged segments. Despite the trembling, despite the doubt gnawing at him, a twisted smile crept across his lips.
"If this is the end,"
Bondrewd said, his voice steadier now,
"Then let it be a glorious one. Show me the resolve that broke me."
Goku shifted into his battle stance, his golden aura flaring brighter, illuminating the shattered remains of this place. Bondrewd raised his arms, his devices sparking as he prepared for the final confrontation. The fear, the doubt—it still lingered, but he pushed it aside. If he was to fall, he would face it head-on. Without another word, they charged at each other, the ground beneath them cracking as the force of their energies collided.
The final fight had begun.
Bondrewd swung his mechanical tail in a desperate arc, aiming to catch Goku off-guard. But Goku saw it coming.Grabbing the tail mid-swing,Goku twisted it with a roar, the metallic screech echoing in the ruined lab.Bondrewd's body jerked as sparks flew from the connection point, and with a final wrench,Goku ripped the tail clean off, tossing it aside like scrap. Bondrewd stumbled back, his balance faltering. His breathing was labored, and the glow of his cybernetic eye flickered as he tried to regain his composure. But Goku wasn’t giving him any time. With a burst of speed, he appeared in front of Bondrewd, his golden aura flaring brighter than ever.
"This is for every kids you hurt!"
Goku yelled, slamming his fist into the side of the helmet. The blow sent Bondrewd crashing into a nearby wall, the force of the impact causing the helmet to fracture further. Bondrewd struggled to rise, but Goku was already on him again. Another punch, then another, each one aimed directly at the helmet. With every strike, the mask cracked and splintered, revealing more of the grotesque face beneath. Finally, with one last, thunderous punch, the helmet shattered completely.
Pieces of it flew in every direction, clattering against the rubble-strewn floor. Goku stepped back, breathing heavily as he took in the sight before him. Bondrewd’s true face was exposed—a horrifying mix of scarred flesh, mechanical implants, and deadened eyes. One eye glowed faintly with a sickly light, while the other, bloodshot and unblinking, stared back at Goku with a mix of fear and defiance.
Bondrewd lunged at Goku with the last vestiges of his strength.
"You cannot stop me."
Bondrewd shouted, his voice filled with desperation and defiance. Goku, his golden aura blazing brighter than ever, stood firm. His hands moved instinctively into position, cupping them at his side as his energy began to build.
“Kaaaa… Meeee… Haaaa… Meeee…”
The lab shook violently as the energy in Goku’s hands grew, a brilliant blue light illuminating the entire ruin. Bondrewd didn’t stop, his steps unsteady but relentless as he marched toward the Saiyan.
“HA!!!”
Goku unleashed the Kamehameha Wave with a deafening roar, the beam tearing through the air with incredible force. The massive wave of energy surged toward Bondrewd, its light overpowering the dim, flickering glow of the lab. Bondrewd gritted his teeth, raising his broken arms to shield himself.
The beam slammed into him, and his body jerked violently under the force.
But he didn’t stop. Slowly, agonizingly, he pushed forward, step by step, through the blinding energy.
But Goku wasn’t going to let him close the distance.
"KAIOKEN!"
A crimson aura erupted around him, intertwining with the gold of his Super Saiyan form. The added power caused the beam to surge, its intensity multiplying. Goku’s pupils faded, leaving his eyes glowing white with pure energy and focus. The force of the beam became unbearable. Bondrewd’s mechanical limbs began to disintegrate, his armor melting under the sheer energy. His movements slowed, each step more labored than the last.
"You… cannot…!"
Bondrewd’s voice faltered as the energy overwhelmed him, his body starting to break apart. With a final, devastating surge of power, the Kamehameha Wave consumed Bondrewd entirely. The explosion that followed was catastrophic, a blinding flash of light that engulfed the entire Ido Front. The ground quaked, and the ruins of Ido Front were obliterated in an instant. When the light finally faded, the area was unrecognizable. The once-imposing Ido Front was reduced to a smoking crater, its remnants scattered across the barren landscape. Goku hovered in the air, his aura flickering as he struggled to catch his breath. The strain of the Kaioken had taken its toll, but he remained standing, his white eyes slowly returning to normal. He scanned the area below, his senses sharp. There was nothing—no movement, no energy signature.
Bondrewd was gone, his body and soul obliterated in the blast. Goku landed softly on the ground, the weight of the battle finally settling on his shoulders. He closed his eyes, exhaling deeply.
"It’s over…"
The cries of the children he had saved echoed faintly in his mind, their fear and pain replaced by relief. Goku knew he had done what was necessary. Turning away from the ruins, he placed two fingers on his forehead, preparing to teleport back to where Nanachi and the others were waiting.
As Goku reappeared in front of the children, the air around him was still warm with the residual energy from the massive battle. His orange gi was almost completely shredded, leaving only his tattered blue undershirt and pants intact.
The children froze for a moment, their eyes wide with a mix of fear and awe. But as the realization set in that it was truly over—that Goku had come back for them—relief washed over them.
“Mister!”
Nanachi was the first to call out, her voice trembling with emotion. She ran toward him, her small hands clutching at his arm.
The rest of the children quickly followed, their expressions shifting from fear to gratitude as they surrounded him. Some of them hugged his legs, while others simply stared up at him with tear-streaked faces, unsure how to express their thanks.
Goku knelt down, placing a comforting hand on Nanachi’s shoulder.
"Hey… you’re all okay. That’s all that matters."
Nanachi looked up at him, her usually calm demeanor cracking as tears welled in her eyes.
"You came back… You really saved us."
Goku gave her a small, reassuring smile, though he winced slightly from the pain of his injuries.
"Of course I did. I told you I’d take care of things, didn’t I?"
One of the younger children, clutching a makeshift blanket around their shoulders, looked up at Goku with wide, tearful eyes.
"Is… is he gone? The bad man?"
Goku nodded firmly.
"Yeah. He’s not coming back. Not this time."
The children erupted into quiet sobs of relief, hugging each other and Goku. He let them cling to him, his heart heavy yet relieved. Despite the toll the battle had taken on him, seeing their safety made it all worth it.
Goku carefully lifts each of the kids, cradling them in his arms. The weight of their small forms is almost nothing to him, and he holds them securely, making sure they feel safe and protected.
With a determined expression, he takes one last look at the wreckage of the base, silently declaring it a thing of the past. Then, with the kids safely held against him, he prepares to carry them to a new life, free from the horrors they had endured.
