Chapter Text
I felt like I was dreaming, but only for a moment.
What went wrong?...If I remember correctly before all of this...
Somebody called recently about a random guy taking hostages and sending them to unknown places. Past, future, perhaps around the world? I don't know, but People were disappearing minute by minute. We heroes needed to stop this villain immediately before he keep on sending more innocent civilians.
I still have a lot to learn, but now that it was my last day at the Endeavor's Hero Agency, I feel like I've accomplished more than I can think of. Even though my, kinda second quirk is still tough, I'm sure I can improve it in no time. I'm pretty sure Kacchan and Todoroki have too. We we're going to do catch one last villain before heading back to U.A.
It shouldn't have been so tough, I've learned the basic skills hand have been improving. It's only a random dude illegally using his quirk. Should have been an easy capture...Right?...At least that's what I thought, I had it planned out...Back then...
Izuku, Bakugo, and Todoroki all crashed into each other. Dust forming around them. Izuku quickly gets up and rubs his forehead as groans in pain, Bakugo gets more angry by the second. Todoroki is just disappointed. The Villain laughs as he approaches them, he lowers his hat and sends out a big circle. The wind seems to be going the opposite direction, sucking them in. "W-wait-!" Izuku shouts, grabbing onto the floor, only for his nails to be digging into the concrete. Bakugo and Todoroki tried to grab onto something, anything to prevent them from going into the strange big portal. But nothing worked the wind is too strong. The big portal gets big enough for the three of them to fit inside. They scream as they fly into the portal.

I felt the sun shine over my eyes. Morning already? The memories passing through my head like I had a dream, and yet I do remember.
"Ouch...My head..." Izuku sits up, rubbing his forehead. He looks at his surroundings, turning his head back and forth. Cars are passing by, stores around every corner, people giving him weird looks. Izuku finds himself laying down on the side walk, he quickly gets on his feet and look around for his friends. "Where are you guys..?" He can't help but worry, they all got sucked in at the same time. Not even Kacchan and Todoroki are here with him. But he also can't help but notice the civilians are... somewhat normal? Usually there's at least a giant or a big animals walking and talking around the streets. "Maybe there's more lookalike civilians than before? It's clear I'm in a big city, but...did my friends get sent somewhere else..?" He takes a few steps forward, looking at the store and building's. "Maybe someone can tell me my location...?" He looks to his right and flashes a smile, a young woman possibly in her 20's.
"Excuse me...Can you--uh--um..." His voice gets quieter as the woman ignores him and walks past him. Quickly getting disappointed, he turns his attention to a few more people only for them to ignore him. He gets frustrated, why are people ignoring him all the sudden? Is it because he's still in his hero costume? Do they think of him differently? Or maybe this is New York?? The rats and the mean people. Maybe he can go into one of these stores and ask, unlike a crowded sidewalk. He looks to his left to find a clothing store. He sighs as he opens the door, the bell ringing at the same time. "Here goes nothing..." The cashier looks up at the door.
"Hello! Welcome to Kamome's clothing store..! What can I get for you?...Looking for anything specific..?"
Izuku smiles as he walks towards the cashier.
"Hi--Excuse me, Can you tell me which city I'm at..? I'm currently lost..."
"Oh? You're currently at Kamome city, Japan.."
"Kamome? I don't think I've seen it on maps..?" I thought. "Is Kamome really a city I've never heard of before? Although it's safe that I'm still in Japan." The cashier takes a better look at his clothes.
"My, are you heading to a cosplay convention? That costume looks hyper realistic..!"
He shakes his head, might as well tell them about his situation
"No actually, I'm a hero in training...I was with Endeavor's agency, but a Villain caught me and my friends--"
"Whoa whoa whoa, slow down..."
The cashier looks at him confused.
"Hold the phone--You're a hero in training from Endeavors agency..?"
"At least someone's knows my situation" He smiles.
"Yeah and I need help to get back--" He quickly gets caught off by a small laugh.
"Wow, kids these day and their imagination..." The cashier wipes a tear away.
"H-hey--I'm not lying, I really was--!" A drop of sweat falls down his cheek. What's up with this person? Do they really think I'm making things up? Maybe I can find some nearby hero's to help me out.
"You see, I need to get back to Musutafu city fast and I need help--"
"Musutafu..? Did you hit your head playing too much hero..?"
"What, no--??"
"That city doesn't exist..."
"...."
His stomach drops. Musutafu....Doesn't exist..? That can't be right...Then where in the world am I at?
"Can you check your map, please..? It has to exist..."
The cashier groans as they pull out a map from under the table and places it the counter facing him. Izuku scans through the map, only to find nothing. Although the map does look a bit old...
"You should change your map, it looks outdated--What--?! 2015, that's at least a 100 years ago--?!" He shouts, not exactly expecting for the date.
"Um--You should really update your map..." He gave her a nervous smile as another drop of sweat fall down from his forehead.
"You don't make sense? That's our current date..?"
"That's--That's impossible...It can't be..."
Did I really go back in time? Or maybe it's just an under dated city, right? I mean I've never heard of Kamome anyway...He pulls out his phone and look at the date. 2015....It really is 2015...He went back in time even the date on his phone has changed. He quickly puts his phone back inside his pocket.
"...Well, thanks for your help anyway..."
He frowns in disappointment. Looking around a bit more before fully leaving the clothing store. He stands there a bit, processing what just happened. So...I've been sent back in time... A quirk that sends people to the past... Perhaps even the future...But, how am I supposed to go back now? He looks around more, seeing the civilians, cars passing by. "What Can I do now..?" I thought. He began walking forward again, taking good looks around his area. "Let's see.... Kamome clothing store...Kamome Crafts....Kamome most famous restaurant....Wow there's a lot of Kamome buildings..."
He stops in his tracks as he found himself in a neighborhood. He look around at the houses, pretty average if you ask me. Most of them are just... normal...Not even big or small ones to fit inside giants or tiny ones. Not to mention the civilians... So one's been using their quirks... Maybe there's a law against it?
He quickly puts out his phone "I should call Kacchan, he should be with Todoroki.." I thought. We can meet up and figure things out together...But since we don't know our way around yet, will they be able to find my location? I might as well give it a shot. He begins to call Bakugo. His phone ringing and ringing. No answer. He calls again. No answer. "Why won't you answer..?" I groan in frustrated. Is Kacchan busy or did his phone break? Is he even in Kamome too? I tighten my grip. One more call wouldn't hurt?
His phone ring and rings. No answer. Only left with a voicemail. If we all got sucked in by that strange portal, at the same time, shouldn't we end up in the same place? It's definitely possible we got separated while changing places. "I should call Todoroki, maybe I can reach him" He lowers his phone as something catches his attention.
It looked like a large building. More like a school. He continues to walk towards the school. Soon stopping himself, keeping a distance from it. The building looks old and ancient. Perhaps it's a hero school? It does looks big enough for some training ground. Although I shouldn't really say that. An auditorium. There's already a garden and perhaps another school connecting to it. More modern looking than the other one. Maybe there's two different divisions around the campus? "Either way...I should call Todoroki, I can send him my location and we can meet up." I thought. Calling Todoroki's phone, it ring and rings.
"Midoriya..." Todoroki spoke through the phone.
Izuku lights up and smiles. He sighs in relief.
"Todoroki! Your alright..!" Happy to at least hear his friends voice.
"Where are you currently..?" He asked
"I don't know yet... It looks looks like a large city...Even Bakugo doesn't know..."
"Kacchan is with you...?!" He said in surprise. They're both okay! Izuku backs his phone away from his ear, as Bakugo screams through the phone. "Where are you, Deku..?!"
"Kacchan, why didn't you answer my calls..?"
"Because icy hot decided to burn my phone away..!"
"I said I was sorry, Bakugo..."
Wow, they sure get along...Izuku thought.
"Midoriya, maybe you can send us your location, see if we're not that far apart from each other..."
"Sending it right now!" He lowers his phone from his ear and heads to the message app. He sees on his maps his exact location. Kamome Gakuen's Academy. "So that's the name of the school I'm in front of.." I thought as I finally sends my location through text.
"At least thirty minutes away..." Todoroki blurts out.
"What! Really..?!" So they are here with me. Thankfully we did end up in the same City. He puts the call on speaker mode.
"Hey, come find me...I know a little bit about this city...If we're together then we can figure this out!"
"Alright then, we'll meet you up there..." Todoroki voice deep and calm as usual, meanwhile on the other hand, Bakugo to his usual yelling. "And you better not move an inch away from that place, you hear me..?!"
Izuku nervously smiles and softly chuckles.
"I won't go anywhere..."
Todoroki turns his attention back to Midoriya. "We'll see you there then, my phone percentage seems to be halfway over..."
"Yeah, I'll see you guys right here.." And with that the call is finally over.
The sun seems to be starting to set already, the day is almost coming to an end. He puts his phone back into his pocket. Feeling tired and overwhelmed. He raised his hand towards his Chin. "How much longer do I have to stay like this..? I need to get home immediately, everyone must be so worried about us disappearing through that strange portal. Did that villain also bring up his hostages up here? If so I better finds them quickly as possible, they must be so confused and scared. I can't help but worry though. "I muttered out loud. Unfortunately it quickly turned into a habit during junior high. Everyone usually stares and ignores him. Good thing no one is here to judge him.
He looks back up, facing the school in front of him. Guess he has to spend her for the time being. Hopefully they come back safe though. That's when he spots a young girl. Close to his age. A light cream color, which gradually fades into a soft teal green at the tips. Her hair waist length. Wearing a school uniform, standing across from him. A grocery bag full of sodas and snacks. Locking eyes at him, like something was wrong. A bit confused. A drop of sweat down her cheek.
Feeling a bit nervous. Izuku lowers his hand from his mouth, staring back at her. Taking in her details. Magenta eye's with orange accents. It's clear she definitely heard. He quickly turns embarrassed.
"I--I'm sorry! I didn't think anyone would be here at the moment..!!" Especially a girl. He waves his hands around to reassure any awkwardness.
"Are you from the drama club..? Practicing some lines..?" She spoke. Her confused expression turned into a kind smile, tilted head. Looking at his hero suit. Of course she is. She must think of him as a weird drama kid, still dressed in his hero suit. It's not like he has money for some spare clothes, either way.
"No, actually...I'm--uh--" Shoot, what do I say?! I can't say I'm from the future, that would make me sound crazy. I need think fast, what should I say??
