“What do you think?”
Clover paced the living room, looking through the doors to see the neighboring rooms. “Seems small,” he finally said. “Three bedrooms, you said?”
“With a finished basement,” Qrow added. “And attic.” He gestured to a small door out in the hallway. “There’s a massive closet downstairs, figured we could stuff it with blankets and stuff and let whoever decides to spend the night duke it out food the guest room or the blanket fort.”
Clover laughed quietly. “You’ve thought about this,” he murmured, moving to stand next to Qrow, leaning against his cane.
“Yeah,” Qrow said, ducking his head with a flush. “‘Specially when I found out you survived Callows’ attack.” He looked back up at Clover with a shy grin. “You mentioned you wanted kids, so I figured this would be a good place for us. Tai’s like 20 minutes away, so I figure most of the kids’ll settle around here, when they decide to settle down. You like it?”
“I love it,” Clover assured him. “It’s perfect.”
