If it's Gabe, it'll be set without season five's canon because I don't want to deal with the Adrienette romance drama in a Daminette fic. (love them, just unrelated to this story)
If it's Lila/Cerise, I'll probably time skip a year or two and make her much more formidable than Gabe was in canon. I would address Adrienette break-up through the lens of Hawk Moth being his dad and he is resentful towards Ladybug. Chat would've quit and all of that jazz.
(I feel this is where the show should take it. It would be awesome!! Lovers to friends to enemies to lovers from Chat's view. I mean, imagine Adrienette being all cute and LadyNoir trying to kill each other, but canon! I'm just saying. Anyway--!)
No matter whatever you choose, the main focus of the fic will be a sweet and soft whirlwind of a Christmas romance between Damian and Marinette.
If you guys have a way to make it more interesting, please comment! I have more ideas than I let on, but no spoilers! (:
