Chapter Text
Casey never liked dogs that much. They were a lot of work to take care of and so because of it, he never tried to get one. He was always buried in work, so why would he bring more work on himself? Miranda also never liked them. She didn’t like the shedding so Casey and her agreed on one thing. He thought they were good together. So, why was he so alone? Why was it that when he came home all that greeted him were divorce papers and a note? It hurt more than he’d admit, as he stared at the documents. He knew he wasn’t the best husband, he could’ve been better to her. However, it felt heartbreaking that she just left without saying anything. Was he not worth it?
“Damn it,” Casey cursed as he almost fell on his face again. Bottles of whiskey were littered all over his floor again. He wasn’t good at keeping his home clean. He felt a pang of guilt as he realized Miranda must’ve been so tired of keeping the house clean. She must’ve been so lonely without him. He should’ve come home more, he should’ve paid attention to her more, would that have made her stay with him?
‘I need a smoke,’ Casey thought as he headed towards the balcony. His apartment was small, but it seemed even smaller with the mess. He sighed as he took out his pack of cigarettes and quietly smoked. He could almost hear Miranda’s voice scolding him. She never liked it when he smoked. She said it made the whole apartment smell and he would smile back at her. He should’ve just quit, he should’ve just listened to her but he was too damn stubborn for his good. It was a quiet night, it looked pretty out. The stars looked nice and Casey admired them for a while. He was about to return and pass out when he saw something. At first, he thought it was his drunken mind playing tricks on him but when he squinted he saw…a dog. It was big compared to the other dogs he would normally see when he was working. It was a shaggy-looking thing. He frowned when the dog turned to stare up at him. It tilted its head and it let out the most pitiful whine.
“Get lost,” Casey said as he waved his hand. As if he would take that huge thing in. It would shed and make an even bigger mess in his home. He stumbled back inside, not bothering to check up on it. He was sure that his neighbors would feel bad for it and give it some food or something. They were better people than he was.
Mornings were already tough as it was for him. He never liked mornings, the only good thing that came out of it was Miranda’s coffee, but he didn’t have that anymore either. He sighed as he forced himself up. He had coffee cups all over the counter, and he didn’t feel like doing any dishes.
“Fuck,” Casey muttered as he decided he would just buy some on his way to work. As he was heading out, he almost tripped on something again. Casey frowned before turning to snap at whatever the hell was in his way. He paused as he stared. It was that damn dog again. Now that he wasn’t looking down on it, the thing was much bigger than he would’ve guessed. Maybe it wasn’t a dog…was it a wolf? There shouldn’t be any wolves around here though. He didn’t live near any forests because all of the sunlight and sky made his head throb. The dog-wolf thing was sleeping on the floor near his apartment complex, but since Casey tripped on it, the dog-wolf was now just staring at him again.
“Go! Get lost!” Casey tried to shoo it away but it just barked and snapped at him. Casey frowned. Was he gonna get into a fight with this animal? He really had to do something better with his life. He rolled his eyes as he stepped over the huge thing. He glared at it before he walked off to his car. The animal dared to glare right back, Casey paused for a moment. Could wolves glare back? Was this a wolf or was this just a freakishly large dog? Maybe it was just a mutt.
“Damn mutt,” Casey grumbled to himself as he drove off. Saga wouldn’t be too happy with him. She had been more worried about him after his divorce. He was already a mess before getting married but the divorce hit him harder than he thought. Saga had come over a few times to clean up and bring himself something to eat. How long has it been since he ate an actual dinner and not something microwaved? His head began to throb as he sighed loudly. He pulled up to the station and saw Saga waiting for him. She didn’t look that happy to see him, but she did look relieved that he was still alive. He gave her a quick wave, but she just rolled her eyes and smacked his shoulder gently. It hurt more than it should, maybe it was because he could just sense her disappointment in him. He didn’t like disappointing her, she was too sweet to be worrying for him. A part of him was scared she would leave him too, and that would be inevitable.
“You’re late, and your uniform is all wrinkled,” Saga murmured as she crinkled her nose. Casey shrugged as he looked down at his uniform. It didn’t look that bad compared to the first week he struggled with his divorce.
“Logan knows how to iron her clothes better than that,” Saga said as he raised her eyebrow. Casey thought about it. He missed seeing Logan, she was such a smart girl. She was lucky that she had a mother and a father that loved her so much. Casey smiled at Saga before looking away for a moment. He really wanted some coffee, it would help him feel better, and he was sure it would help with this headache he had coming up.
“Smart girl, I wonder where she got it from,” Casey said as Saga hit him again. He laughed quietly, he used to dread going to work. Who would want to leave the comfort of their homes? Especially with his work, seeing gruesome things all day and all night. It made him have nightmares sometimes, but now he’d rather be at work. At least he had Saga by his side and she wouldn’t leave him alone all by himself. She gave him another worried look and it made Casey feel weird. Was he truly that pitiful right now? He tried his best to look a little better than what he usually looked like.
“How are you feeling,” Saga murmured. Other officers and deputies walked by and Casey stiffened. He hated bringing personal life to work and Saga knew that. But with that worried look in her eyes, Casey couldn’t bring himself to get upset with her.
“Fine,” Casey stated, not wanting to talk about it anymore. Saga gave him one last look before she nodded. They walked inside the station where a case was handed right to them. Casey could see Saga’s eyes brightening as she read the case. Casey rolled his eyes as he went to the coffee station instead. He would let Saga talk his ear off in the car…when he had his coffee. He couldn’t focus without a cup.
“That was disgusting,” Casey announced as he got back inside his car. Saga was laughing next to him. They had gotten done with the final examination of the body, and it was just…something. Saga had a smile on her as she got excited about her new theories. Casey wondered why she enjoyed this so much. How could she get so many ideas from seeing a dead body? Saga turned to look at him with a small smile on her face. It was almost the end of their shift together, and that meant going home…alone in that crappy apartment of his.
“You want to come over? I’m sure Logan would love to see her Uncle Casey,” Saga offered and Casey was tempted to say yes. However, a part of him felt selfish. He shouldn’t be intruding in their lives like that. He wasn’t a good influence, he was sure he smelt of whiskey and cigarettes and that was the last thing he wanted Logan to know. He smiled at her as he shook his head.
“No, not today. I have some stuff to finish at home,” Casey smoothly lied. He saw Saga frown for a moment but she didn’t force him. He liked that about Saga. She was a sweet person, who didn’t push people when they were clearly not wanting to talk. Casey had gone through that numerous times. Therapists, psychologists, doctors, and coworkers. They all pushed him to open up and he was sure that made him close up even more. The feeling of everyone staring at him weighed him down and if he was honest…it scared him more than anything.
As he arrived back to his shitty apartment, that damn mutt was finally gone. Casey stared at the space it occupied before heading back to his own door. He didn’t need to be waiting for no mutt. He sighed as he took off his jacket and hung his things. He was about to relax when he heard some noises again. He wanted to ignore them, but it was obvious something or someone was not happy. He heard loud whining noises and growling. He slowly went out to his balcony again and looked down. There it was. That damn mutt again, but this time it brought something with him. Casey frowned when he realized the mutt had brought a rabbit…dead. Casey groaned, god, dammnit. Of course, he had to be stuck with a mutt who brought him roadkill. He thought about it for a while. Should he even check? There were plenty of other people in the complex he lived in. He was sure someone would take care of it, so he walked right back inside.
‘Not my problem,’ Casey thought as he plopped down on the couch. He closed his eyes for a moment, wanting to sleep the rest of the day off. He felt so sleepy and he closed his eyes for a while.
A loud banging woke him up from his peaceful slumber. He jumped up, and instinctively grabbed his gun he held close. He blinked and checked the time. He had slept for a lot longer than he should’ve. He let out a quiet groan as he forced his body up again. He really shouldn’t be sleeping this much. It wasn’t good for him. He walked towards the door and checked the peephole. It was one of his neighbors. An elderly woman and she didn’t look too happy. He rarely ever talked to them, so he couldn’t understand why she was coming to him this late. He cracked open his door to look at her.
“Can I help you?” Casey asked. The older woman shook her head, clearly still upset with someone. Maybe the cigarette smell was too strong. He would have to buy a different brand…if he remembered or cared enough to do so.
“You’re an officer, right? There’s a feral mutt at the front of the apartment. He keeps bringing these disgusting dead animals. Get rid of him!” She angrily said. Casey blinked slowly trying to register what this woman was saying. Why should he? Just call some other people, he was off the clock anyway.
“I’m not-” Before he could even finish she was storming off. Casey blinked again, before frowning. God, that pissed him off. Why the hell was this mutt making his life so damn difficult? Wasn’t there some god that could help him? He was a good person…well he was a decent person. He tried his best to stay out of people’s business and he didn’t go out of his way to make other people’s lives hell. He was tempted to just leave it like that, and not touch the mutt. No one would know and he could just pretend he didn’t hear her. However, he had a sinking feeling that this woman would just keep on coming to him unless he did something.
“Fuck.” Casey muttered as he got his shoes on. He slowly headed down the stairs and to the entrance. He stared down at the mutt that was making his life hell right now. The two stared at each other. It had been maybe three days since this mutt actually began making a presence. How annoying. He wished it never came, he wished it didn’t ruin his plans of sleeping. He frowned again as the mutt tilted its head and tried nudging him. Casey took a step back.
“Get lost, what don’t you understand?” Casey grumbled as he tried shooing it away again. Again the mutt just stared before growling at him. Casey snorted, maybe he should just call animal control on this thing. They could handle it and it wouldn’t be his problem anymore.
“Fine. Have it your way,” Casey snapped as he stormed right back upstairs. He would call animal control first thing in the morning. He groaned as he looked down at his shoes. Blood was on it from that damn roadkill. He sighed as he wanted to bang his head on the wall. Why couldn’t his life be easy? What did he do so damn wrong that he was suffering like this? He faltered when he got in front of his door. He closed his eyes for a moment, hoping, wishing, praying, that when he opened the door, Miranda would be standing there. Her arms were wide open with a smile on her face, but when he did open the door no one greeted him. He should really get used to it, but the feeling was so bitter and hard to swallow. He felt like he was gonna break down, and he felt like puking.
‘Pathetic,’ Casey thought as he took a long swig of whiskey from the bottle. He was staring emptily at the TV. It wasn’t even playing anything and yet he was watching it like it was the most interesting thing in the whole world. He let out a sigh as he looked away again. He heard his phone vibrate and he sighed. He didn’t want to pick it up, but when he looked he saw it was Saga. She would get so worried if he didn’t pick up.
“Hello?” Casey said, trying to keep his tone from slurring.
“Are you drunk?” Saga instantly asked and Casey winced. She sounded just like Miranda sometimes. It made him want to drink more until he couldn’t even think of her.
“Nice way of greeting your partner,” Casey offered and Saga snorted on the other line. He heard Logan screaming with joy and playing. Casey felt his heart sting. He always wanted kids. Who wouldn’t want them? Sure, they were a shit ton of work, but it would be worth seeing a nice face when he got home from work.
“Hi Casey, are you drunk?” Saga asked again and Casey snorted. She had such a smart mouth. It was both endearing and irritating talking to her.
“No,” Casey tried to lie but Saga could see right through it.
“Yeah right, you should stop drinking this much Casey. It’s not good for your health,” Saga scolded and Casey winced again. He didn’t feel like getting a lecture right now. All he wanted was to drink some more and get some sleep.
“I’m being serious Casey, I’m worried for you. I know it’s been rough with…you know, but there are places you can go for help, okay?” Saga said, her voice much softer now. Casey stared empitly at the bottle. He was pathetic. He should be trying to take care of Saga, not the other way around.
“Alright, I’ll try,” Casey offered and Saga hummed on the other hand.
“It wouldn’t hurt to have something to take care of. Maybe get a pet or something like that,” Saga offered and Casey frowned. Why would he want to do that? That was so much work and he didn’t want to deal with all of the fur and drool. It was gross and exhausting already.
“I don’t-” Casey tried to say but for the second time he was cut off.
“I hope you will get one, I’ll check up on you and I better see something with you. Don’t make me buy one for you,” Saga said, her voice stern. Casey sighed in defeat. What was the point? She would just argue right back again.
“Okay, I’ll get one,” Casey said and Saga hummed happily with his answer. They said their goodbyes before she hung up. Casey dropped his phone and groaned loudly. Where the hell was he gonna just get a pet? He sighed loudly as he slumped on his couch, he was ready to just sleep and look up fishes when he had the time. However, again he started to hear the small whining noises. He paused before getting up and heading towards the mutt. Some kids were teasing it and throwing things at it, causing it to snap and snarl. Its whines were getting louder and it was so…irritating. What a pain in his ass.
“Cut it out,” Casey shouted. The kids looked up at him before running. They knew better than to upset an adult. Slowly the mutt turned to look at him and tilted its huge head. Casey groaned loudly again before he headed down.
“I’m gonna regret this,” Casey said as he stood in front of the mutt. The nasty thing stared at him big eyes as it tilted his head and whined towards him. He frowned before checking if it had a collar or anything. There was nothing, but was surprising that the mutt’s fur was neat and soft. He wasn’t expecting that. He thought it would have a tangled mess as its fur.
“Come on then, only for a little bit,” Casey murmured as he helped the mutt inside his apartment. He knew he was gonna regret this in the morning but for now, he could handle having some company tonight even if it was just some mangly mutt.
Chapter Text
“This was a mistake,” Casey said as he stared at the mutt. He had stayed awake all night because of this mutt. The damned thing kept trying to crawl into bed with him and he would wake up every time and push the mutt away. He had no idea where this thing had been so he would not let it in his bed. The mutt kept on staring at him and growling whenever he pushed him away. He was getting tired of this game, so he woke up way earlier than he was used to. This sucked, and it was all because of some dog.
“You’re lucky I even brought you inside. You’re being selfish if you want more from me,” Casey said as he watched the mutt tilt his head before trying to climb up on Casey’s lap. Casey huffed and pushed the damn thing off again.
“No, no, no you are not getting on me or my bed,” Casey scolded and the mutt just tilted its head before barking. He sighed and looked over at the schedule. He had work, but he would just call out. He had to take care of this bigger mess before he did anything else. He walked over to the bathroom before he began to fill up the tub. He had to bath it before they went to the vet. He didn’t want it smelling this place up.
“Come on, come here,” Casey called out but for some reason, the mutt went into hiding. It eyed the bathtub before whining loudly. Casey blinked, why did it seem like it was shy? He snorted at the idea before he struggled to push the huge thing inside. It whined, growled, and even tried nipping but Casey refused to back down. They ended up glaring at each other again, as Casey successfully shoved it inside the bathroom. Now it was for the hard part…getting it inside of the damn tub. He watched it for a while as it also watched his movements. Why was this mutt being so damn difficult? Who wouldn’t want a nice warm bath after being in the cold outdoors for most of its life? He tried coaxing the mutt inside but it stayed still.
“Why are you being so difficult? Did God send you to make my life hell or something? Just listen to me,” Casey snapped as he pulled it inside the tub. He was successful…but in the end, he got inside as well leaving his clothes soaking wet. He sighed loudly as he watched how smug that damn dog looked. How could one animal be so expressive? It was so annoying and frustrating. He sighed as he grabbed some soap and began washing.
“This is why I never want to have a damn dog,” Casey grumbled as he was cleaning himself off as well. He had cleaned off the water from the dog, and he was shaking himself still. Casey had to change his clothes and wash off his own body. How annoying. This sucked. He didn’t want to be taking care of this thing, but he did promise Saga he would try. He took a deep breath before slumping on the couch. He should take it to the vet, but that was another struggle he couldn’t do. He fought just cleaning him, so getting him inside the car was too much work for him. He wanted to sleep, and forget about all of his responsibilities but suddenly a heavy weight was on top of him. He grunted as he opened his eyes again to see that damn mutt on top of him. Casey couldn’t help but cringe when he saw the drool and he pushed him off immediately.
“Fuck! I can’t even rest,” Casey sighed as the dog let out the most pitiful whine. He opened his eyes again to look at it for a while. He needed to go shopping, he didn’t even have any food for him. Maybe he would buy the other a treat…he wasn’t treating the other that well so he felt bad. It wasn’t as if the dog forced him to take him inside…well he was being annoying and making himself Casey’s problem for no reason.
“I have to go shopping, I’ll be back, okay? Please I beg of you, do not make a mess. If I see one chewed-up shoe or chewed-up pillow, I’m sending you right back outside and buying a fish,” Casey said as he stared at the dog. Did he know why he was talking to the dog? No. Did he think this dog understood him? No. But it made him feel better that he was warning him not to do anything. The mutt immediately began to whine and held onto his shirt with its teeth when he tried to leave. He blinked as he had to fight the dog again for his damn shirt back.
“Hey! Stop that! I’m not leaving you for a long time! I’m trying to feed you,” Casey argued as the dog growled and barked angrily. He frowned, before gently smacking its nose softly. The dog whined and let go of him, and he took that as a way of running out. He let out a sigh as he got inside of his car. He was already tired and it wasn’t even the evening yet. He still had the whole day taking care of him, and he didn’t even name the dog yet. What name would even be good for him? He would probably call Saga later and ask for suggestions.
“God even his things are expensive,” Casey muttered as he drove back home. He had bought plenty of things for the dog, but he failed to realize how much it actually cost. He let out a sigh when he entered his apartment. He was used to no one greeting him, and coming home to an empty home. He let out a sigh when he opened the door but instead of an empty silence, a loud barking interrupted him. He jumped when a huge dog pounced on him and he almost fell. He grunted loudly as he tried to get his regain his balance.
“Goddammit! Don’t lick me,” Casey grumbled as he pushed his dog gently off of him. He didn’t like the feeling of dog drool all over his face. His dog happily barked and kept following him around. It felt…weirdly nice having someone being so happy to see him. He paused as he stared at the counter for a moment. It felt so nice having someone so happy to see him like this, he wondered if Miranda felt this lonely, waiting for him, hoping that he would come back soon. He sighed and grunted when he felt his dog lick his hand and whine softly. Casey pulled out the things he bought and he looked down at the dog.
“Come on, I got you some nice food,” Casey murmured as he opened the bag. He poured some food out and expected the dog to just dig in. However, his dog just stared at the food and didn’t even bother eating it. He was upset, no way he just spent money on this food and this dog wasn’t even eating it. He watched the dog sniff the food before retreating and sitting by Casey’s feet. Casey watched him before he sighed loudly. He was about to say something when there was a knock at the door. He paused as he opened the door. He saw Saga looking worried but she seemed to relax when she saw him. He let her inside and he could tell she was happy to see the dog in his living room.
“Oh, how cute! You got a dog! Knowing you, I would’ve thought you had gotten a fish,” Saga joked and Casey looked away. He wasn’t going to admit that yeah…he was gonna get a fish. Saga went to pet his dog but he backed away and began growling. Casey frowned as he walked over. He wasn’t normally growling unless Casey was leaving or trying to bathe him. Saga blinked and Casey watched for a moment longer.
“Stop that, don’t growl at her,” Casey muttered and he walked over and patted his head. His dog barked happily and soon Saga was petting him. She looked back at him with soft eyes.
“Did you name him yet?” Saga asked as she smiled. Casey paused, no he hadn't thought of a name yet. He just referred to the dog as…mutt but he knew that Saga would be very unhappy about the name. Casey decided it was best just to lie about it, it saved him from getting scolded.
“No, was hoping you could name him,” Casey said and his dog began growling again. Casey rolled his eyes and he watched Saga hum and think.
“He’s really big for an average dog, are you sure he’s a dog? What if he’s a wolf breed or something?” Saga asked, clearly worried. Casey raised an eyebrow as he turned to look at his dog again. A wolf? That didn’t sound far off, this thing was huge compared to the others. He shrugged, as long as it didn’t slobber all over him he was fine with anything. He seemed well-behaved enough anyway, so what was the point?
“I’m sure it’s fine. He doesn’t do much anyway, if he was a threat I would’ve kicked him out right away,” Casey said and Saga nodded. She trusted him enough not to make foolish decisions. They both stared at his dog, trying to find a good name for him. What could he name him? Casey wasn’t that creative that he would be able to make up a name like that. Saga hummed before she smiled.
“Why don’t you name him…Sparky or something simple like that,” Saga said and his dog growled lowly again. Casey sighed as he thought about it. Sparky sounded fine, was it an average dog name? Yeah, but whatever. Saga and him talked for a while, they had some wine and she went on to say that she was still worried about him. Casey felt bad, but he could barely talk when “Sparky” kept trying to get on his lap. He sighed as he kept trying to push the poor thing off of him, and it resulted in him whining all over again. Saga laughed as she shook her head, and Casey was really regretting all of this. A fish wouldn’t be bothering him this much, all he had to do was feed it and leave it alone. But “Sparky” was being a huge pain in his ass. He didn’t like the heavy feeling of a dog on him.
“He’s trying to cuddle,” Saga murmured and Casey frowned. As if he wanted a huge ass dog cuddling with him. He shook his head and shooed the dog away again. He watched “Sparky” sulk in the corner making Saga laugh and shake her head.
They talked for a while, and Casey felt…good. It felt nice being with Saga as she talked about work. Sure, he didn’t need to know the tiny details but what else would he expect from her? She loved talking about it, and Casey was content with listening to everything as long as he didn’t have to work on anything himself. He had forgotten how long it had been since he had someone over, Saga came over but that was once in a while. She had her own family to take care of, and he wasn’t cruel enough to take her away when they needed her.
“I should get going. You know how Logan gets when I’m late,” Saga said as she began to stand up. Casey nodded, getting up to walk her out, despite the distance being small. “Sparky,” followed them sniffing and barking at her. She smiled and stroked his fur one last time before she waved her goodbyes. The apartment immediately turned dull again, and he let out a sigh. He closed his eyes for a moment and he grunted when he felt “Sparky’s” nose touching his hand. Gross. He stroked the other’s head though, not wanting to be cruel to his poor dog. It wasn’t that late, but it was late enough that he could head to bed. He stretched before heading towards the bathroom to wash up.
“Stay here, and try to eat some food. I don’t want you starving on me,” Casey murmured as he gently pushed “Sparky’s” head away from the bathroom. Strangely enough, that damn dog kept trying to poke his head inside. Casey frowned as he kept pushing him away. Not too long ago, he was fighting to keep the dog in the bathroom and now he couldn’t get him out!
“Knock it off, don’t scratch on the door! I’ll be right out,” Casey scolded, and “Sparky whined even louder. However, the scratching stopped and Casey was able to shower. He was able to get all ready but what made him groan was that “Sparky” had made himself comfortable on the bed…again. Casey frowned as he walked over to him and began to shoo him off. But of course, when did things go his way? There’s always something that got in his way. He tried again to get his dog off the bed, but the dog just wouldn’t budge. It snapped and nipped at him and Casey groaned loudly. He didn’t want to give up this fight though, because if he allowed it once then “Sparky” would always do this.
They fought for a while. Casey kept trying to push his dog off while Sparky would come right back up and try to bite him. He sighed as he finally collapsed on the bed next to his dog. Sparky came closer and Casey sighed as he turned to glare at him. This was stupid, how could he lose to this dog?
“Stop that, just be happy I’m letting you sleep here. Tomorrow, you’re gonna sleep on the couch or something,” Casey grumbled as he watched the other. His dog just barked again, looking all smug that he won the battle. Casey didn’t know what pissed him off more, the fact he was letting this dog win or the fact he was too tired to fight back again. So, instead of fighting back, he turned his back to the dog. Was he acting childish? Probably, but he was by himself and he didn’t care that much. He heard “Sparky” grumble and suspiciously sounding like he snorted at Casey’s tactics. Casey turned to glare at him, there was no way this dog was snorting at him…right? He frowned before turning back to sleep.
“Don’t drool,” Casey grumbled as he closed his eyes. He heard shuffling and he felt “Sparky” getting all comfortable. He rolled his eyes, but let it happen. He was too tired to try and shove him again. So, he just snorted and tried to fall asleep.
Casey had plenty of nightmares growing up. He had the same old ones that terrified him when he was a kid. However, growing up made him less scared and more accepting that death was indeed a thing. He had grown accustomed to the thought and sadly it didn’t even scare him at this point. However, Miranda always managed to slip inside his mind and that hurt more than anything. She always looked so damn disappointed in him and it hurt more than anything. He didn’t want to be a disappointment to him. He wanted to be better, but he could’ve tried harder, he could’ve done better but instead, he didn’t. He failed her and that weighed heavily on him. It started to mess up his sleeping schedule and it was messing him all up.
Casey woke up with a gasp as he looked around his room with wide eyes. He didn’t feel anything and couldn’t register anything for a while. Instead, his eyes darted around trying to focus on his surroundings. He was fine…right? He was just having a nightmare about Miranda again and all of those people he failed. God, that sounded so pathetic and he hated himself even more.
“Fuck,” Casey whispered as he closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths. He reminded himself of his surroundings. He was safe in his apartment, in his bed, with his dog now. However, why was he so warm? Why did it feel like his back was sweating with how hot it was? He opened his eyes again and his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. He barely registered that an arm was around him, and it wasn’t his. He blinked again before he slowly turned to look behind him. He prayed that he was imagining things and maybe “Sparky” had his tail on him or something. But God loved playing with him, and of course, a man was in his bed. Casey could barely register what he was seeing before he was up and about.
“What the hell!” Casey shouted as he stared at the man. He heard him groan and slowly this guy began to wake up. Casey thought back about last night, he wasn’t drunk, was he? No, he didn’t go partying or anything like that. So why the hell was this guy in his room? The better question was how the hell did he get inside? Casey locked all of his doors and windows. He knew better than to leave anything open. He was trained better than that.
“What’s the big deal?” The man grumbled as he was sitting up now. Casey looked around, where the hell was “Sparky”? He was sure he was in bed, but he couldn’t hear the dogs snoring/grumbling when he slept.
“Big deal? You’re in my house you fucker,” Casey shouted as he stared at the other. The man blinked sleepily and sighed before he dared to slump back into bed. What made Casey even more mad was that he patted the spot next to him, as if Casey would just climb into bed with him again.
“Stop shouting, your neighbors aren’t going to be happy with you,” the man murmured as he looked at Casey with an exasperated look. That was his final straw. There was no way this guy was normal, he must be insane. An asylum had lost their patient and Casey was gonna take him back dead or alive. Casey pointed at him before he began to walk backward to grab his phone and his safety gun. There was no way in hell he was just gonna let this slide. God, why couldn’t he have one normal day? Why was it always something weird? What did he do to ever get this shitty of luck?
“You sit your ass right here, psycho bastard,” Casey snarled as he slammed the door shut. He turned to rush to grab his phone, could he have handled this better? Maybe, but was he angry that he woke up from seeing Miranda’s face taunting him to a grown-ass man in his bed, yeah he was pissed. He was dialing the number and was about to put the phone to his ear. However, he didn’t notice the man coming out of the room and grabbing his phone from his hand. He grunted in surprise as he whirled around and slammed the butt of his gun into the man’s face. He heard a crack, and Casey manuvered away from him to point his gun at the man.
“Didn’t I tell you not to move you bastard,” Casey snarled. He cocked his gun and focused on the guy in front of him. His nose was probably broken as he bled. Casey narrowed his eyes, as he watched the guy in front of him.
“Cruel but I get it,” the man started as he held his nose. Blood was dripping down and Casey fought the urge to cringe. Blood was gonna stain his carpets…what a pain in the ass to deal with. He frowned as he watched the other for a while, he let go of his nose and Casey bit his tongue. Blood was smeared all over his nose and mouth. God, that was disgusting and the sight made his stomach churn. He looked down at his phone which was now lying on the ground.
“Hand me my phone…don’t try anything or I will shoot you,” Casey warned. The man made no effort to move though. Instead, he just tilted his head, and oddly enough he reminded Casey of…Sparky?
“You don’t need to call your friends or anything, I’m not here to hurt you. If I was, I’m sure we wouldn’t be just standing around,” the man said as he forced a smile. Casey tried not to focus on the blood on his teeth, and he tried not to feel too bad about that. Why should he? This man broke into his house first.
“Shut the fuck up, hand me my damn phone,” Casey snapped. Again the man didn’t do anything and just stared at Casey for a while.
“Are you always this mean to your so called pets?” he asked and Casey found himself pausing. He almost lowered his gun thinking about it. Pets? He wasn’t mean to any of them…well he never had one but if he did he wasn’t mean to them. Sure, he didn’t LIKE them, but that didn’t mean he would openly do anything bad. As long as they didn’t drool, chew, or shit on his floor why should he care?
“What the hell are you blabbing about now? You high or something?” Casey snarled as he stared at the other. The man didn’t say anything as he shook his head, but Casey saw a glimpse of a smile on his face. He probably thought this all was some sick joke he had going on. Fucking creep.
“I’m not high Casey,” the man said, emphasizing on his name. Casey found himself faltering again, how the hell did he know his name? He wasn’t paying attention as he tried thinking back. When could this guy hear his name? When Saga was over? But she only really referred to him when she came inside. She didn’t ever shout his name for fun or anything like that. He shouldn’t have become unfocused, it was a poor performance. He barely even registered the man in front of him now, holding his hands that held the gun. He was so close, and Casey could smell the metallic smell of blood lingering in the air. This time he couldn’t help but cringe away from it. How the hell did he move this fast?
“It’s me, “Sparky,” but you know I do have a name. Real sweet of you to try and name me, but you could’ve been more creative and not listen to that…friend of yours,” he muttered. Casey felt himself stiffen as he was so close and it just smelt too much like blood. Casey could barely register what this man was saying. Him? Sparky? No, Sparky was a dog, not a grown-ass man.
“The fuck?” Casey muttered it was the only thing he could manage to say. He was still dazed and trying to process everything that was happening. His mind was whirling and what threw him off was he felt this sick man lick the side of his face. It felt weird, the feeling of a warm tongue against his face. He didn’t like it when animals licked him, so why would he like it if a human did?
“Don’t be scared of me, I won’t hurt you,” he murmured in Casey’s ear. Casey could barely register anything. The next thing Casey knew was that he swung the butt of his gun to the side of the man’s head. The handle smacked his temple and he crumbled under it. Casey stumbled back and practically fell himself when his dead weight was on Casey.
“Fuck…” Casey trailed off as he looked at the body on top of him. He prayed to whatever God was out there that this was all some sick prank or dream. That this man wasn’t in his apartment and he didn’t just accidentally kill him. He closed his eyes.
“Shit.”
Chapter Text
It wasn’t the first time Casey had killed someone. Most of them were self-defense or when a suspect was getting out of hand. He stared at the body he had shoved off of him. What the hell was he gonna say now? ‘Oh sorry, I got scared that this guy broke into my house and so I killed him?’ He was gonna sound like a complete loser and he didn’t know if he could take another teasing. He wanted to pace back and forth but his neighbors didn’t even like him that much, so it was better to stay silent. Should he call Saga? But she was probably dead asleep, and he felt bad enough waking her up for something like this.
“Damn it, why does this shit always happen to me?” Casey cursed as he looked around. He slowly crouched next to the body before making sure he was breathing at least. When he felt the other’s chest rise, he let out a sigh of relief. Thank god he didn’t kill a man today. He looked away for a moment before sighing again. He grunted as he struggled to lift the man’s body. He shoved it towards the couch before handcuffing his hands to the table. Sue him, he had a spare of handcuffs on him in case of an emergency.
“Fuck you’re heavy,” Casey murmured as he stared at the man. He was handsome in a way? Casey didn’t know if he should even compliment this freak. He groaned as he leaned back on a couch as he wanted to go back to sleep. What if the man woke up again? Would he try to attack him? It didn’t seem like this man was violent in any way, just…weird. So, the next thing Casey knew was that he fell asleep, on the floor, in front of the man that broken inside his house. Probably, one of the stupidest things he could do, but it was so early in the morning and he was too tired for any of this. Thank god it was his day off tomorrow, that way Saga wouldn’t worry about him again.
Bright light woke Casey up. He groaned as he tried turning away but almost ended up falling. He forgot he wasn’t in the comfort of his own bed, but he was on the floor. He slowly opened his eyes again to look around. His head throbbed and he felt sick if he was honest, probably because he had the worst sleep of his night. He managed to open his eyes fully and he looked around his apartment for a bit before he settled on the man. He was wide awake, just staring at Casey, and Casey felt himself roll his eyes.
“Fucking weirdo, were you just staring at me this whole time?” Casey grumbled as he slowly got up. He didn’t say anything for a moment before he shrugged.
“There isn’t anything else to watch, you didn’t exactly turn on the TV for me,” he offered and Casey fought the urge to smack him. Why was he so damn smug? Casey frowned as he got up to make some coffee, he had to think of a plan with this guy. It was easy to just call the cops on him, but a part of him was curious. What did he mean, he was Sparky? Was that his dog and Casey just snatched him away? He didn’t mean to steal the dog, he was just all alone.
“May I have some coffee?” he asked and Casey shot him a glare, as if he would make some coffee for this guy. Casey decided to just ignore him and continue making his own coffee. He closed his eyes when he heard the water boil, he needed to get his act together. He had to demand answers and get this over with. He heard the click reminding him his water was done boiling. He sighed softly as he turned to look at it again. He poured his coffee before heading over to the man again. Casey was quiet for a while, collecting his thoughts before he nodded slowly. He could do this, he had to do this.
“State your full name,” Casey calmly said. He began treating this like an interrogation, it mostly was. They stared at each other for a while and Casey raised an eyebrow.
“Alan Wake…but you called me Sparky so I guess that could also be my name,” Alan said and Casey frowned. No, he didn’t call him Sparky, he called his dog Sparky. They were two very different things right now. He watched the other, maybe he really was crazy. He should get this guy checked up before anything. Casey sighed and he watched the other for a while, he had to take a moment to understand everything. Everything was so strange and surreal that he was letting this happen right now. He should’ve just called the cops…he shouldn’t have been so curious about any of this.
“Sparky? You mean my dog? I’m not sure if you know this but…you aren’t a dog,” Casey said as he stared at the other. They stared at each other for a while, neither one wanted to say anything. However, what surprised Casey was that Alan burst into laughter. Casey frowned as he didn’t like being laughed at. It was a nasty feeling and Casey was not happy about it. Alan was still laughing and Casey had the urge to smack him.
“I’m sorry, it’s just your reaction is cute,” Alan said and Casey frowned. Casey was called plenty of things growing up, but “cute,” was not one of them. Why would anyone call him cute? Not even Miranda called him that, she would call him handsome or sweet but not “cute.”
“Fuck off,” Casey snapped and Alan chuckled. He watched Alan test the handcuffs before raising an eyebrow as he watched Casey’s expression. Casey looked down and he couldn’t help but feel embarrassed. Why did it seem like he was the one in the wrong? It wasn’t wrong for him to carry a spare of handcuffs in his apartment. It was normal of him to do so, but Alan was making him seem like some pervert!
“It’s a spare…just in case I lose the ones I have attached to my belt,” Casey defended and Alan still gave him that look. It was embarrassing enough to be stared at like that. He looked away, not wanting to meet Alan’s eyes. The room was quiet for a little bit before he heard Alan sigh softly.
“Look, it’s gonna be hard to believe what I’m going to say but I need you to trust me on this,” Alan started and Casey eyed him. Sure, trust the man who broke inside of his house and slept on his bed. It would be so easy to do that. He frowned but he let Alan continue with his speech.
“I am Sparky, I’m just not in “that” form right now,” Alan said as he emphasized “that.” Casey blinked for a moment. Alan was Sparky? They stared at each other before Casey slowly got back up and headed toward the landline. It was best to call some professional help at this point. He thought he might be able to get some insight and help Alan out, but it seemed that it was out of his reach.
“W-wait! No need to call anyone! Don’t be like that, just listen to me!” Alan said, his tone was urgent and almost panicked. Was he scared of something? Casey turned to look at the other and he couldn’t help but notice just how pitiful Alan looked. He still had dried blood on him and he looked exhausted as well. They had been going around in circles with this whole idea and they barely agreed on anything. However, despite his conscious screaming at him to call the cops he paused and watched the other again.
“I swear I am Sparky, I’m…you know,” Alan trailed off and Casey raised an eyebrow. A what? Should he know about this? He couldn’t make any sense of it, but could anyone blame him?
“How are you, Sparky?” Casey asked as he stared at the other for a moment. Alan sighed as he slightly leaned back to make himself comfortable. Casey had an urge to unlock the handcuffs but he decided against it. He didn’t know what Alan was capable of.
“To put it into simple terms, I’m a werewolf,” Alan slowly said and Casey watched the other. The two of them stared at each other again before he tried to pick up the phone again. However, Alan again began to panic so Casey put the phone down and they watched each other. No one knew what to say to each other, as Casey still didn’t believe him. However, Sparky was missing and now he had Alan but werewolves didn’t exist. They were just some myth or some shit like that.
“You’re a werewolf,” Casey said, his tone was skeptical and almost accusatory. It sounded stupid saying it out loud and he hoped Alan knew that. Alan shrugged and they went back to looking at each other. Casey didn’t know what else to add and he was baffled about this whole situation. It was all because of that damn dog, he knew it was a bad idea to bring it home. He should’ve just kicked it out and called animal services on it.
“I know it’s hard to believe, but I am. I can even prove it to you,” Alan insisted and Casey raised an eyebrow. Proof? That was the last thing he wanted, but Casey guessed it would be better than just going off on what he was saying. Casey gestured for the other to continue before Alan looked sheepish for a moment.
“Well…I can’t just do it on command…” Alan trailed off and Casey snorted. As if that wasn’t suspicious enough. He had two options right now, either be an idiot and believe the other or be the reasonable person he was and call the police. Alan must’ve caught on because in an instant he was on his knees and looking up at Casey with the most pitiful expression ever.
“Please, just please listen,” Alan all but whimpered in a way. Casey frowned as he watched the guy. How…pathetic, it was honestly sad seeing the other plead with him. However, he had to pick himself right now. His mental health didn’t need this crazy ass guy with him, and he knew that. However, seeing him just look so…pitiful made Casey rethink a lot. This had to be a manipulation tactic and Casey hated that it was actually working on him. It was pathetic, and he felt himself sigh before slowly nodding. A few days, he would give the other a few days to prove it to him.
“Three days, I’ll give you three days to prove to me that you’re this “werewolf.” If you don’t, I’m filing a report,” Casey stated firmly and Alan seemed to brighten almost instantly. Casey knew that the other was hiding those fake ass pitiful expressions. He was getting weaker to them because of Saga. She wore him down with all of those sad looks when he rejected going out to eat with her. He needed to grow tough again, but it was harder when he was getting older now. He would rather just let it all happen than fight back. He was getting too tired to fight anyway, but he still loved his job enough.
“Can I stay if I do prove myself?” Alan asked and Casey frowned. He didn’t think that far ahead if he was honest. He didn’t even believe the other still, so he didn’t have that high of hopes for him.
“Are you gonna help pay rent?” Casey asked and silence fell over them again. Casey assumed that was a no, so his answer was clear too. Casey turned to look away, and he took small sips of his coffee. He could try and enjoy the rest of his day without Alan. He could pretend the other wasn’t there, that would help him feel better about the situation he was in right now.
“I can help,” Alan slowly offered and Casey turned to look at him again. Alan was looking at him with those sad eyes again and Casey groaned. He was really too nice for his own good. He really needed to try and get a backbone or something. He nodded slowly and Alan looked excited all over again. Casey was about to grab the keys to unlock the cuffs but Alan just pulled his wrists away and the cuffs snapped like they were nothing. Casey stared at the cuffs on the ground, broken and the chain was in pieces. He barely registered Alan hugging him as he kept staring at the floor. He tried to contain that…he really needed a drink. It was too early for one, that’s what Saga would tell him. In his mind, there was no time too early for a good old drink.
“Thank you,” Alan murmured and Casey tensed up. He didn’t like the feeling of being touched that much. Ever since Miranda left, he struggled with the feeling and so he shoved Alan off of him. He glanced at the other, trying to maintain a good distance away from him. He wasn’t just gonna let Alan do what he wanted now that they were “roommates.”
“Stop that,” Casey muttered as he looked away trying to focus on drinking his coffee. He had errands to run again…returning all of the dog stuff he bought. At least he would get his money back on some of them.
Casey made sure to keep a good distance away from Alan and the other seemed to respect that. He was off doing something, and Casey was packing up to get ready to head out. However, the moment he grabbed his car keys, Alan peeked his head out.
“Where are you going?” Alan asked and Casey was tempted to just ignore the other. He had grown good at doing that, ignoring problems until they became too big to try and ignore. Maybe that’s another reason why Miranda left, he couldn’t face his own issues. He shouldn’t be thinking about her still, she left and she was never coming back.
“Are you listening to me?” Alan’s voice sounded so close. Casey jumped and whirled to stare. Alan was staring at him from behind. They were so close now, and Casey thought it was creepy that Alan was able to sneak up on him like that. Alan looked a bit annoyed as if he didn’t like being ignored or something. Casey took a moment to recollect his thoughts. The last thing he needed was Alan to be questioning him. They didn’t need to get all buddy-buddy with each other.
“I’m heading to the store, by myself,” Casey emphasized and Alan tilted his head. Casey couldn’t help but think that Alan really did look like Sparky for a moment.
“Let me come with you,” Alan insisted and Casey frowned. He didn’t need people questioning him where Alan came from. He didn’t even have any idea where he came from too. Casey didn’t travel with people, so it would look even more weird to others. Casey shook his head but of course, Alan was insistent.
“I don’t like being alone,” Alan insisted as he pressed closer to Casey. In return, Casey felt himself take a step back instinctively. He didn’t like being backed up in a corner. It released some fight-or-flight responses.
“Stop that, you’ll live,” Casey countered and Alan was frowning.
“What’s wrong with me coming? I won’t make a mess or anything,” Alan said and Casey felt his back touch the wall. It felt so strange to be in this predicament. Alan was staring at him so intensely that Casey found himself giving up again. Confrontation was never something he liked either. He sighed as they both got into the car, and Alan looked so pleased with himself. Casey fought the urge to smack him again, god was truly playing favorites nowadays.
“Try not to touch or draw attention yourself,” Casey muttered as he parked the car. Alan nodded before the two of them got out of the car. Casey hummed as he went inside to return some of the things he bought. He lied saying he bought the wrong things or something along those lines. He was getting his receipt when he heard a familiar voice.
“Well isn’t Detective Casey! Here for some coffee?” Ilmo asked. Casey turned to look at the other and he felt himself relax. Ilmo was a nice guy, too much for Casey’s liking. Always so energetic for no reason, but Casey had to admit the coffee was damn good. He drank a lot of it and often bought a lot of the roasts the other did. Casey offered the other a smile as he nodded.
“Maybe, I was running out, so I went to go grab some stuff,” Casey said, it wasn’t a lie nor was it the truth. He was just omitting some important lines there. Ilmo nodded before leaning in close. Casey wanted to lean back but it felt rude to do so. The last thing he wanted to do was to upset such a friendly face around here.
“My offer still stands,” Ilmo started and Casey fought the urgent to groan. He knew the Koskela brothers were both “businessmen,” but god was it annoying to see the commercials all the time. Not only that but seeing them was always the same thing. Casey never actually went to this “Coffee Amusement World,” sure he could since he loved coffee but the saunas and the loud noises were something he was never a fan of. Just the mere thought of being inside a hot ass room with a bunch of naked guys made Casey’s skin crawl but he tried to not let it show since other people really liked it. He didn’t want to be insensitive or anything like that, it was best to just stay in his own lane.
“Our park is open for everyone, I’m sure you should come over. It’ll be fun, you can try all sorts of coffee there, you know that we have the better blends,” Ilmo said with a smile. He nudged Casey slightly and Casey just continued to smile. Physical touch was never his strongest suit but he endured it as he didn’t want to look weird or rude. However, he noticed Ilmo was no longer looking at him but…behind him? He was about to question if everything was alright when he felt an arm around his waist. He was pulled back against a solid chest and he barely registered any of it. Ilmo watched, blinking before he had a smile on his face. Casey didn’t know what was more humiliating at this point.
“I didn’t know you had a friend over! Why don’t you invite him as well?” Ilmo said, probably happy that more “customers,” would be satisfied. Casey’s brain could barely function as he still was stuck that Alan was holding him from behind. He could barely hear Alan saying something but his brain wasn’t cooperating with him. Soon, both of them were just staring at him waiting for him to answer and Casey snapped out of it.
“W…what? Sorry, I wasn’t paying attention,” Casey said as he looked at Ilmo again. He heard Alan sigh behind him and he tried not to flinch away when Alan spoke right into his ear. His voice was warm and so soft, it made Casey’s skin crawl and he didn’t know if he liked that or not.
“I asked, who is this guy? Why’s he talking to you?” Alan murmured and Casey had to pause again before he said anything.
“Oh…that’s it? This is Ilmo Koskela, He and his brother are tour guides around here. They own this Coffee World Amusement Park at Watery,” Casey explained trying to keep his tone calm. Alan hummed and Casey swore he could feel the vibrations from the other’s touch. It felt so strange being held like this. He didn’t like it that much, but he couldn’t just shove him away either.
“I see…Let’s get going, you finished up everything anyway,” Alan murmured, not paying much attention to Ilmo at all. He barely glanced at the other as he kept his eyes on Casey. Casey tried keeping calm as he slowly nodded. He looked over at Ilmo again before smiling apologetically and waving. Ilmo was a good guy, he didn’t want to upset the other in any way.
“Sorry, I’ll think about visiting you and your brother soon. I’ll even bring Saga with me,” Casey said and Ilmo brightened even more as he nodded. Alan was practically dragging him away from the conversation which annoyed him. Why was the other so damn clingy? He was about to scold the other but when he looked at Alan, he looked…mad? It was the first time seeing that expression, usually, Alan just looked so damn pitiful. The expression made the words Casey prepared to die in his throat as he stared for a moment. Alan looked over at him, and his eyes seemed to soften instantly.
“What’s wrong? Is there something on my face?” Alan asked and Casey shook his head. He didn’t trust his voice at the moment, and he thought he was gonna say something stupid if he did. He turned away from the other before brushing the arm away from his waist.
“Don’t touch me like that in public. I don’t need people staring and getting ideas from you,” Casey muttered. Alan again didn’t say anything but Casey swore the other’s mood soured again. Casey didn’t care that much though, why should he? Alan was the one pushing boundaries and not listening to him. It was fit to get in trouble and scold the other for doing something bold like that. He just hoped Ilmo wasn’t in a gossiping mood and tell anyone else what he saw.
When they arrived back home, Alan was quiet the whole time. Casey didn’t mind, he needed to think about everything again, but Alan’s broodiness was really pissing him off. Casey tried not to think about it, but was Alan really that upset with what Casey said? It wasn’t as if he called the other disgusting or anything. He just didn’t want to be touched and Alan was acting as if Casey had insulted his whole bloodline or something.
“Stop pouting,” Casey grumbled and Alan again didn’t say anything. Casey sighed as he just wanted to sleep. He wasn’t even hungry at that point, he just wanted to go to bed. He walked to his bedroom but he paused when Alan followed him. Casey turned to look at the other again.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Casey asked and Alan didn’t look at him nor reply. Casey frowned as the other practically pushed past him to get inside the room. Casey stared, trying to grasp Alan making himself comfortable on the bed. Did Casey seem like a joke to this man? He thought he had made it quite clear he wasn’t someone that would be taken lightly.
“Fine, be like that. I’m sleeping on the couch then asshole,” Casey snapped before he tried to storm off. As if he was gonna fight with an overgrown man child but before he could take another step, an arm was around his waist again and he was lifted up like he was a child. Casey’s eyes widened as he turned to shout.
“What the fuck! Let go of me you asshole,” Casey angrily shouted and Alan just pulled him into the bed and tucked them in like it was nothing. Casey struggled but Alan just tightened his grip around the other’s waist again. Casey snarled softly as Alan nuzzled into the back of his neck.
“Fuck off!” Casey shouted, and a hand was placed on top of his mouth. Casey snarled again and thrashed but Alan just tightened his grip again.
“Shhh, your neighbors aren’t gonna be happy. Just sleep now,” Alan muttered and Casey continued to move until he tired himself out. Alan sighed softly and Casey felt strange when Alan nuzzled closer to him. Casey wasn’t used to this feeling…well it had been so long since someone held him like this. Miranda and he used to cuddle all of the time, and it felt strange being held so tightly like this.
“Just sleep,” Alan muttered again and Casey glared but he found himself sleeping anyway. What did he get himself into?
Chapter Text
In the morning when Casey woke up, he wasn’t in a good mood. It was probably because he was realizing Alan was sleeping next to him. It was a weird feeling waking up to someone holding him. Even though he was awake he just found himself staring at the wall. It felt strange, as he could feel Alan breathing on his neck. It felt so strange and he wanted to cringe away from it all. However, he couldn’t move with Alan’s arm around his waist. He sighed as he tried getting up now, he had work today, and he couldn’t lounge around forever.
“Come on, let me go already,” Casey grumbled as he shoved the other’s arm off of him. He heard Alan grunt and grumble, he didn’t even make any effort to move away from Casey. It felt frustrating that this asshole didn’t take him seriously. Casey sighed as he tried moving again, this time Alan let him.
“What time is it?” Alan mumbled and Casey didn’t bother answering him. He wasn’t in the best mood when he woke up. Casey was not a morning person, and it was even more annoying having to share a small apartment with someone he didn’t even like that much. He went over to the kitchen to make himself some coffee. He checked his phone and sighed, a few more minutes before he had to get going.
“Where are you going?” Alan asked this time as he followed Casey out of the bedroom. Casey again didn’t respond as he felt like he didn’t have to answer him. Alan looked to the side and stared before Alan rolled his eyes. Casey bit back a response to that. Maybe if he ignored the other, Alan would eventually get bored of him. Wouldn’t that be better for both of them? They didn’t like each other that much and it was annoying to be around.
“Can I come with you?” Alan then asked again and Casey sighed.
“No,” Casey responded, not bothering to elaborate. Alan frowned as he stared at Casey for a while longer. Alan didn’t say anything for a bit but he was getting closer. Casey could feel the other’s body heat now that Alan was walking towards him. Casey decided to ignore the other and just drink some coffee. However, it got harder to ignore when Alan was practically right behind him now, breathing down his neck like he always did.
“You aren’t going to go see…him, are you?” Alan asked, his tone sounded strangely accusing. Casey didn’t know who “him,” was so he turned around with a slightly confused face. Alan was watching him, that broody expression back on his face. If Casey didn’t hate the guy, he would say it was quite adorable to see.
“Who?” Casey asked and Alan furrowed his eyebrows even more. It seemed that Casey just couldn’t win with him in an argument, could he?
“The guy you were talking to when we went out. The one with that stupid hat on,” Alan said, it sounded like he was holding back some hatred in his voice. Casey blinked, thinking back on what he did the other night. He went shopping…oh Alan was talking about Ilmo. Casey snorted, he wished he had gone off to see Ilmo, at least then he wouldn’t be working on any stupid cases.
“Ilmo? No, I’m not going to go see him. I have to go to work, that’s why you can’t come along…Why would it matter to you anyway if I went to go see him?” Casey muttered as he took a sip of his coffee. Alan didn’t say anything for a bit before Casey could faintly hear him grumble. Casey sighed as he raised an eyebrow.
“Speak up, don’t mumble or grumble your words. I don’t have super hearing,” Casey snapped and Alan seemed to grow even more poutier at that.
“I said, I don’t like him being near you. He doesn’t seem…trustworthy,” Alan said and Casey sighed loudly. That was the silliest thing he had ever heard of yet. Ilmo? Untrustworthy? Everyone loved the Koskela brothers, so it was hard to imagine someone not liking them. Casey finished off his coffee and turned to look at Alan again.
“Don’t go exploring, I already gave my spare to someone else. So if you get locked out, you won’t be able to get back inside,” Casey said and Alan frowned again.
“But I don’t want to be alone,” Alan insisted as he tried following Casey out. Casey groaned and stopped moving for a bit. He couldn’t let Alan follow him out, Saga wouldn’t let him have the last of it.
“You can’t, I can’t just bring people to my job,” Casey said and Alan frowned. He tried following again and Casey sighed. What could he offer to make the other stop following him around? He thought about it for a moment before staring at the other. What did the other want anyway? What good would it do following him around? He didn’t live a fun life, he lived quite a sad one if he was being honest.
“If you stay behind, I’ll let you sleep in the bed with me for the time being,” Casey offered and Alan stopped to watch him.
“You promise?” Alan said and Casey snorted, what a child. He didn’t know what else to say to that. Was he gonna promise like he was a child again or was he gonna risk Alan following him around at work? He couldn’t be the laughing stock again so he nodded.
“I promise, just stay here and don’t ruin anything,” Casey said and Alan hummed. The other was thinking about what he was saying and Casey raised an eyebrow. What was there to think about? Alan was the one that wanted to promise and here he was thinking about it. Alan seemed pleased because he ended up walking back to the bedroom. Casey sighed before he headed out, it was easier to leave quickly or Alan might just change his mind.
“You’re here early for once,” Saga mused as Casey looked over at her. He sighed softly as he was tempted to tell her everything. He trusted Saga a lot more than he trusted anyone else but then again, what if she looked at him like he was crazy? He couldn’t lose Saga’s trust, she was the only one that he would say was his friend. She looked at him with those worried eyes again as he spaced out. He should stop doing that, he didn’t want her to worry so much about him. He wasn’t worth that much thought.
“I got up early for once, I couldn’t sleep that well. You know…with Sparky now,” Casey said, it wasn’t exactly a lie. Sparky was Alan so he couldn’t sleep because of him. Saga smiled, and she looked so gentle with him. It hurt Casey’s heart when she looked at him with those eyes. As if she trusted him with anything, and he didn’t deserve that. He adored Saga sometimes, she was such a bright light in the world of the FBI.
“Aww, well if you ever need help, call me! Logan would love to see Sparky sometime as well,” Saga added and Casey forced a smile and nod. How the hell was he supposed to tell her that maybe Sparky was no longer here? That Sparky was now “Alan,” a grown-ass man who acted like a child? It was already hard to tell Saga no, it was even harder to tell her what the hell he got himself into. Instead, he just bit his tongue and went to work again. He buried himself in work, the last thing on his mind now was going home. It used to be his favorite thing but now with Alan there, he was a bit reluctant to get a migraine when he was home.
“You should start getting ready to go home,” Saga said as she walked over. She had another cup of coffee for him and Casey gladly took it. He glanced over at her with a small shrug. He didn’t mind going home later, he could even sleep at the office for all he cared. However, she frowned and patted his shoulder. She never liked it when he overworked himself, and he didn’t like it when she got into a case.
“Come on, get going. I’m sure Sparky would love to see you home and safe,” Saga said with that look in her eyes. Casey paused as he tried not to cringe when he heard that. “Sparky” was not going to be happy that he wasn’t going home. However, did Casey care that much about him? Not really, and he couldn’t help but feel a little bit guilty that he wasn’t caring that much about him.
“I’m going,” Casey said with a sigh. He waved his goodbyes before grabbing his things and he began to head out.
Casey could already tell that Alan was not happy when he got home. The apartment was dead silent and it looked…messy. Casey could see that Alan cooked something and attempted to clean his mess. However, what Casey didn’t want to see was his clothes all over the floor. Didn’t he tell Alan not to make a mess? Maybe he should’ve clarified and told the other not to touch his things in general. It made him frustrated, but his clothes weren’t torn up or anything. It was just a mess again.
“Alan? What the hell is this mess? Didn’t I tell you to not make a mess when I left,” Casey said, struggling to keep his voice down as well. However, what he wasn’t expecting was to hear grumbling and whining from his bedroom again. Did Alan turn back to Sparky or something? Did he trust it? No, not really but was he gonna check up on him, yeah he had to. After all, he did promise to “take” care of something. He slowly went towards the bedroom, cringing every time he heard a noise from there. He opened the door and saw Alan curled up on the bed, looking all pitiful again. However, what surprised Casey was the ears and tail the other had. Alan was holding something tightly and Casey stared for a while. Was…was that his shirt?
“Alan?” Casey tentatively said as he watched the other. He didn’t walk any closer to him, in fear of what the other would do. What if he lashed out? What if he attacked him? Casey’s gun wasn’t that far off, but he doubted he could outrun the other. Not when Alan snuck up on him numerous times. It was embarrassing but it was the truth, so he just slowly backed up and stared.
“Alan, you okay? You uh…you need some water or something?” Casey offered as he looked around. Was Alan upset that he took this long? Casey didn’t think that much about it but now with Alan all pitiful on his bed, he couldn’t help but feel bad. What made it strange was that Alan was quiet, not responding to anything. He didn’t even move, he just clung onto Casey’s shirt and he could swear he heard the other whining. Casey sighed as he realized that Alan was probably not going to do anything. He slowly approached the bed, still wary that the other lashed out at him.
“What’s wrong with you now? Why are you crying this much? You look pitiful,” Casey said, he internally flinched with his tone. He should try to be more softer with people. That was probably another reason Miranda left him. He couldn’t blame her again. Who would want to stay with him? He could barely even comfort someone without making them feel even worse. He wanted to try, Saga was better at talking with people. She was always the one speaking and trying to coax information out. Casey was better at doing the investigation and not talking to people.
“Are you upset that I took a long time coming home?” Casey softly asked and Alan slowly began nodding. Casey sighed, so the other was just like a dog. Casey walked over to the other, he was a bit more confident that Alan wouldn’t lash out on him now. Casey hesitated for a moment before slowly putting his hand on Alan’s head. He gently stroked the other’s hair in a way to comfort him.
“I’m sorry, okay? I just got worked up, there were a lot of things that needed my attention,” Casey explained. He decided not to be honest and admitted that he didn’t want to come home early. That would make Alan even more upset, and that was the last thing he wanted from the werewolf. Alan slowly looked up at him, his eyes were so watery.
“Did you miss me?” Alan asked and Casey had to take a moment to register the question. What kind of question was that? It was…so stupid answering it but Casey nodded.
“I did miss you,” Casey decided to say and Alan seemed to calm down. Alan let go of his shirt, thankfully but he started to hold onto Casey instead. Casey grunted when he was pulled closer to Alan. Alan laid his head on Casey’s chest, while he pulled Casey closer to him. His head felt heavy and Casey didn’t know how to react to all of this. Alan nuzzled closer, pressing his face into the crook of Casey’s neck. He sighed, Alan seemed content being this close to him. Casey didn’t protest like he should’ve instead, he felt compelled to just comfort him. He continued to stroke Alan’s hair and let him cuddle closer to him. His ears felt strange, the fur wasn’t something he was used to and it felt soft against his neck.
“Are you feeling better?” Casey slowly asked and Alan let this grumble out, before pressing even closer to him. Casey let him, embarrassed that the other was getting all this close to him.
“You smell nice,” Alan answered and Casey took that as the other was feeling better. Casey stayed quiet as he didn’t know how to respond to that compliment. No one ever…smelled him before as he didn’t let people that close to him. If anyone tried, they got shoved or punched because that was creepy. Alan was happily growling quietly as he cuddled closer to him. Casey stayed quiet as he kept stroking his hair and even touched his ears. Alan twitched for a moment and Casey paused, did it hurt?
“Sorry,” Casey decided to say, he was about to put his hand down to his side, but Alan grabbed his hand and put them back on his head. He looked shy now, which was a surprising expression on Alan’s face.
“No, don’t stop…my ears are just a little sensitive,” Alan muttered and Casey blinked and slowly nodded. That didn’t make him feel any better, but he guessed Alan liked the feeling. So, he just kept on stroking the other’s hair and looked away for a moment. This was too intimate, too close for him. He wasn’t used to these types of things, and he didn’t know if he could get used to it. Casey wanted to cringe away from it all, but he found himself stuck. He couldn’t hurt Alan’s feelings…the other was crying not too long ago because of him. It was hard enough to tell the other no sometimes.
Casey didn’t even realize he began drifting off to sleep again, but here he was. He slept for a while, probably because he felt more relaxed. He didn’t know why he was letting this happen, but he felt too comfortable to complain about it. He was woken up by the smell of burning this time. He closed his eyes, wanting to wash the smell away; however, he slowly opened his eyes again. He slowly got up and began to head over to the kitchen. It was good that his apartment was small so he didn’t have to walk too much. He saw Alan struggling in the kitchen and Casey couldn’t help but snort. What the hell was going on now? Alan was burning everything he was putting on the damn stove.
“What are you doing?” Casey asked, tired and wanting to go back to sleep already. Alan looked embarrassed, holding his head low as if he was a dog being scolded. It didn’t help that Alan still had those big fluffy ears on the top of his head. Casey sighed as he looked over, he wasn’t much of a cook either. He barely ate, mostly just drinking coffee was fine with him. It got him in trouble with Saga, but he couldn’t bring himself to try and make something. His apartment was always messy with coffee cups, and it was embarrassing but he tried his best to not think about it.
“I thought…I thought I could do something nice,” Alan trailed off as he looked down at the burnt mess. Casey bit back a remark, he didn’t want to kick him down again. He sighed for a moment before nodding.
“Just…clean this up, I’m gonna take a shower. We can head out and eat something together, okay?” Casey offered and Alan looked excited again. He had that bright smile and he nodded before rushing to clean. Casey sighed as he went towards the bathroom. He didn’t even know how his life ended up this way, but it was…growing on him. It scared him as he was only used to having Miranda around. It terrified him and he was tempted to just run away, however, he had a creeping feeling Alan would just chase him around.
“Are you done?” Casey called out when he was finished with showering. He never liked having his hair down, it always got in his eyes. It was better for him to keep it styled but Alan was staring at him. Casey watched the kitchen, it looked a lot better than before. Maybe Alan was just better at cleaning than doing anything else. It was amusing in a way as Casey was awful at organizing anything. His desk at work was a huge mess, and Saga often scolded him for it as she liked everything organized.
“What’s wrong?” Casey asked as he dried his hair with a towel. Alan didn’t say anything and Casey wasn’t paying that much attention to him. However, he looked back up at him to ask again when Alan was much closer now. Casey blinked confused about how the other got this close, but Alan just…hugged him. He was being held and Alan buried his face into the crook of Casey’s neck again. He was tensed up for a moment, not used to being hugged so freely like this. However, he forced himself to calm down as Alan seemed to be…enjoying himself. He didn’t say anything as they just hugged each other, it was mostly Alan holding onto him tightly while Casey just stood there.
“Something on your mind?” Casey asked and Alan sighed softly. It felt strange, and Casey threaded his fingers through his hair. Alan let out a sigh of happiness and Casey didn’t say anything again.
“Come on…we need to get going,” Casey muttered and Alan let out a quiet growl, not wanting to let go. Casey sighed as he gently tried to untangle himself away from the hug. Alan wasn’t too happy again, as he growled again. Casey frowned as he looked at the other.
“Don’t growl at me,” Casey scolded and Alan let out a soft whine at being scolded. Casey rolled his eyes, how childish was he? He couldn’t just do what he wanted, and expect not to get into any trouble.
“Come on, let’s go,” Casey stated more firmly this time. Alan reluctantly let go, and Casey knew that Alan wasn’t too happy about it. Casey couldn’t help but smile softly as he watched the other. It was oddly endearing seeing him like that, and he didn’t know how to feel. It confused him, as he didn’t know about his jumbled emotions. It felt strange and it felt like he was being closer to Alan.
“Where are we going?” Alan asked as he followed Casey out. Casey knew a nice diner they could go to. However, before they went, he put a hat on Alan and he sighed as he had to force the other to tuck in his tail. Alan wasn’t too happy about it and he was making that very obvious that he wasn’t enjoying his new attire.
“It feels weird,” Alan complained and tried untucking his tail. Casey stopped him not wanting the other to show anything off. He didn’t need people staring or even taking pictures of them together. What if they thought they were doing some freaky roleplay or something? He couldn’t have that on his records.
“Stop it, don’t do that,” Casey scolded and Alan growled lowly but didn’t make a move to take it out again. Casey sighed as they struggled the whole time as Alan was oddly unhappy with other people. He was growling, snapping, and snarling at anyone remotely close to them. He thought Alan would be happy that they were out together, but it seemed that Alan only liked it when it was them…alone together. Casey had to pull him away from numerous people as Alan wasn’t happy that they were “looking at Casey weird.”
“Why are you acting like this? You acting like a bad dog right now,” Casey said and Alan immediately looked hurt. Casey sighed as he tried to calm his nerves down. He didn’t want to shout at Alan because the other was oddly sensitive when it came to Casey. He took a deep breath before looking back at Alan with a frown.
“You can’t be growling at people like that, okay? It makes both of us look weird, and I don’t need that on me right now. If you can manage to behave, we’ll do what you want for the rest of the day,” Casey offered and Alan seemed to perk up on that.
“Promise?” Alan said and Casey sighed and nodded. He wasn’t taking it that seriously, as it seemed that everything would be fine. Alan seemed to calm down and act…normal for once. Casey had no idea why he couldn’t act like this every day, but he didn’t complain out loud. But, he should’ve known that he shouldn’t make reckless promises to Alan and everything came with a price.
Chapter Text
Once they got home, Casey honestly forgot all about the promise he made to Alan. It was hard for him to remember when he had eaten and he sent Alan home so he could work. Alan wasn’t too happy about it but he left obediently for some reason. Casey was confused about why Alan was acting so nicely. The other was listening well and doing exactly what Casey wanted. It confused him but he didn’t like jinxing himself so he went to work and did everything he needed.
“You look like you’re in a good mood for once,” Saga commented as she smiled at him. Casey paused as he stared at his work. He felt his ears slowly creeping red. Did he look that happy now? He didn’t mean to, it was just that he felt better after eating some good food and coffee.
“I didn’t even realize,” Casey said and Saga laughed softly. She leaned closer as she looked at him. Casey knew she was trying to read him but he chose not to show anything. He was good at hiding his emotions, and right now he didn’t need Saga knowing he had someone waiting for him at home. She tilted her head before smiling at him again.
“Alright, keep your secrets. I’m going to work on some papers, you can go home early if you’d like,” Saga chirped and Casey thought about it. Should he go home early? He was sure that Alan would be happy to see him, so he decided to go ahead. Saga looked a bit surprised as usually Casey would reject any idea of going home early. However, she didn’t question him but she had that smile on her face as if she knew something was going on. Casey felt the back of his neck grow warm as she stared at him packing up.
“Call me when you get home safely,” Saga called out when he walked off. Casey nodded as he waved goodbye to her. It was easy enough, but he hoped that Alan could be quiet so it didn’t seem weird.
As he arrived home, the place seemed weirdly neat. It was nice and Casey was pleased to see the place all tidied up. Casey hummed softly as he walked around and looked at the place. He grabbed his phone as he was locking the door and taking off his jacket.
“Saga? I just got home safely, wanted to make sure I called you before I forget,” Casey said as he was smiling. He could hear Saga’s smile as she was happy he remembered. It was the little things that made her happy, Casey realized and he felt bad that he didn’t try hard enough to make her happy. She did a lot for him, and he could barely do something for her. It was already hard enough but it felt nice having someone to trust and talk to. As they were talking though, Casey completely forgot about Alan. He didn’t even realize the other popped out of the bedroom and was staring at him.
“Oh shit?” Casey exclaimed as she talked about one of her cases. He heard her chatting along before he felt arms around his waist. He jumped and he couldn’t help but make a small noise in surprise. Saga paused and Casey held his breath for a moment.
“Are you okay? I thought I heard you say something,” Saga said and Casey forced a smile.
“Oh…no I’m alright, sorry I just saw a…uh bug,” Casey lied and Alan tightened his grip, not happy about being called a bug. Saga hummed clearly, not convinced but she didn’t have any other proof. She stayed quiet before continuing her rant about her case. Casey reached back and began threading his fingers through Alan’s hair causing the other to sigh and lean even closer.
“Hang up,” Alan grumbled and Saga stopped talking again. Casey fought the urge to scold Alan as he didn’t want Saga to know.
“Is someone with you?” Saga asked carefully and Casey felt his ears growing warm again.
“Nope! Just by myself,” Casey said as Alan kept trying to hold him closer. He felt embarrassed as he tried prying the other off of him. Alan growled lowly and Casey tried not to feel even more embarrassed about it. The other was so warm for some reason and it was making Casey even more embarrassed.
“I have to go…I have some stuff to do,” Casey lied and Saga laughed. He knew his lie was shit but at least he could hang up. Saga agreed and he felt a bit bad. He would make sure to call her again and talk to her. He always liked hearing her ramble about her cases because it felt nice someone wanted to talk to him. He hung up when he heard her and he turned to look at Alan however something seemed to be wrong with him. He looked…flushed. The other was flushed and kept trying to push closer to him.
“H-hey! What’s up with you?” Casey muttered as Alan pressed even closer to him. Alan kept burying his face into the crook of his neck and he could feel Alan smelling him. Casey flushed as he tried pushing the other off to get him to talk. However, the moment Casey pushed Alan growled lowly and nipped at his neck. Casey jumped, surprised as he successfully pushed the other off. The two stared at each other and Alan whined loudly. Casey kept pushing the other off when Alan tried getting closer again. He looked so…desperate.
“Knock it off! Why are you acting like this,” Casey huffed as he managed to push the other off again. Alan was panting softly and growling ever so quietly. Casey felt flustered as he didn’t know what to say. Alan looked at the other before whining softly.
“I just want to be close to you,” Alan murmured as he grabbed a hold of Casey’s wrist so the other couldn’t push him. Alan pulled Casey close, and they were close again. Alan nuzzled up to the other and Casey couldn’t make him away this time. It was awkward as he let Alan sigh and nuzzle him. The two looked at each other and Alan was smiling now, a soft one. Casey blinked as he stroked the other’s hair gently. What is wrong with him?
“You came home early,” Alan murmured, and Casey fought the urge to shudder at the feeling of it.
“Yeah,” Casey lamely said as he could barely think when Alan was this close to him. The other was pressing closer to him and tried nipping at him again. Casey felt his ears grow warm at the feeling of it. He wasn’t used to this feeling and Alan seemed to be desperate to get closer to him.
“You promise we’d do anything I want, right?” Alan murmured and Casey felt a wave of nerves. With how the other was acting right now, he didn’t know if he could trust the other. Alan looked at him, and Casey looked up at him. The two of them stared for a bit, and Casey realized Alan was waiting for him to agree or something. Casey felt the words die in his throat with the way Alan was staring so intensely at him. Alan whined and nuzzled close to the other again. His grip on Csaey tightened as if scared Casey would just slip away again.
“Were you lying to me Casey?” Alan sadly asked and Casey snapped out of it for a moment. It surprised him that Alan was calling him by his name. It was probably the first time the other addressed him like this. He felt shy as he shook his head.
“No…we uh we can do what you want for today, okay? As long as it isn’t dangerous,” Casey reassured and it seemed to make Alan happy again. The other’s tail began to wag and Casey tried not to stare at it. Alan hummed before holding the other even closer. Casey let the other and it felt…oddly comforting as Alan was threading his fingers through Casey’s hair and holding the other close. He could practically feel the other’s heartbeat and it felt so strange to feel.
“We should take a bath,” Alan finally announced as if it was the most normal thing to say. Casey felt his brain shortcircit again and he paused to process what Alan was saying. He couldn’t possibly be implying they take one…together. He was probably saying they should take one…right? Not that they were up with one another naked. Casey didn’t know if he could handle that. He wasn’t self-conscious or anything! It was just that he never liked changing in front of people. Even back at the station, he would look around and make sure no one else was in the dressing room before he even thought about taking his shirt off.
“Sure…yeah we can do that. Why don’t you go ahead and take one and I’ll be there when you’re done,” Casey said trying to keep his cool. Alan paused as he pulled slightly away from Casey to look into his eyes. He tilted his head before Alan gave him a puzzled look.
“We should take one together,” Alan insisted and Casey didn’t know what to say at that point. What could he say? No? It was the best answer but the way Alan was staring at him, he felt like he had no choice. He didn’t want to hurt the other and he could feel blood rushing in his ears. It felt so embarrassing to say yes to it though, but with Alan staring at him, waiting for an answer, Casey had to find his voice again.
“You promised,” Alan reminded him and seemed to hold Casey tighter. Casey thought about it, it would be great if someone called him, but his luck wasn’t that amazing.
“Okay, alright we can take one together,” Casey said, trying to keep his voice from shaking. Alan seemed to relax and he looked so damn happy. Casey tried to smile at the other back but it felt shaky. This was the first time he would be showering with anyone. Sure, he and Miranda would do something like this. But it was very rare, she barely even glanced at him sometimes. She would get mad and ignore him for the rest of the day. It was hard to associate good memories with her when he didn’t treat her well, and she would snap.
“Are you okay?” Alan asked, the other looked nervous. Casey snapped out of his small pity party and looked at Alan. The other was looking at him with worried eyes, and Casey couldn’t help but smile at him. He was fine, she wasn’t with him anymore, and she was happy with someone else. Casey could find it within himself to find happiness somewhere else too.
“Yeah, I was just thinking,” Casey said and Alan hummed. They headed towards the bathroom, the only thing Casey was worried about was that his bathroom was quite small. The bathtub wasn’t big and he doubted the two of them could just fit together. Casey eyed the bathtub for a moment before looking at Alan.
“Don’t you think the bathtubs are too small for us?” Casey said and Alan paused to think about it. Casey watched the other glance at it before shaking his head. He seemed confident that the two of them could fit. Casey raised an eyebrow as Alan began stripping. He was tempted to look away, god seeing other people naked was not something Csaey was used to. Sure, he was fine with looking at dead bodies when the body lost all of its color, but seeing someone alive and naked in his bathtub his brain paused. Only Miranda was able to do this, and here he was letting some guy do this.
“Casey? You aren’t going to take a bath clothed, right?” Alan asked. Casey looked at the other again as he felt Alan’s hands tugging at the bottom of his shirt. Casey was surprised by how fast Alan just stripped. He would think the other would have some dignity and take his time, but then again did werewolves feel shame? Did they even care? It was…humbling seeing the other’s body compared to his.
“Right, why don’t you start the water,” Casey said. He just wanted Alan to look away, he didn’t need the other staring at his body. Alan paused and looked at Casey for a moment. They held eye contact before Alan leaned close for a moment. Casey instinctively leaned back and he caught Alan’s eyes narrowing for a moment before he turned to turn the water on. Casey felt as if he couldn’t breathe as the other fiddled with the temperature of the water. This felt too weird, taking a bath with some other guy.
‘Come on, you do this all the time when you’re taking a shower at the station,’ Casey convinced himself. It didn’t help that much. No one was in the same stall as he was when he showered. If anyone tried he would probably beat the shit out of them, but who would just let that slide? Casey slowly began stripping, and it felt more unreal as time went on. He paused when he was almost done with his dress shirt. A few more buttons and that was it.
“What’s taking so long?” Alan grumbled. Casey could hear the other’s impatience and he was about to snap a retort back but Alan was in front of him again. He blinked when the other unbuttoned the rest of his shirt and tugged it off. Casey flushed, embarrassed at the sudden cold air.
“Hey! Come on, I can do this by myself,” Casey scolded but Alan’s hands were already at his belt, tugging it off as well. Casey felt embarrassed as Alan was “helping” him strip down to nothing. Casey pushed the other’s hands away when he felt Alan’s hands lingering on some areas.
“Knock it off!” Casey snapped and he heard Alan chuckling and it felt weirdly warm hearing the other laugh. Alan leaned his head on his shoulder again and held Casey close. It felt even more weird now that they were naked. Casey didn’t know if he could handle it anymore, so he shoved the other off and towards the bathtub. Alan let him push and shove, despite the difference in height and muscle being clear. Casey wouldn’t say he was weak, he was one of the stronger men in the FBI. However, compared to Alan he looked lithe, scrawny, and too skinny. Alan had that amused look in his eyes, which pissed Casey off even more.
“What’s with that scowl? It’s not like it’s our first time bathing together,” Alan mused and Casey glared.
“That’s when you were a dog, not a damn human being,” Casey snapped and Alan looked even more amused. Alan sat down in the water first before sighing, pleased with how warm the water was. He glanced at Casey who was staring at the small space left.
“The water feels nice,” Alan said and Casey sighed. He stepped inside the warm water, enjoying the feeling for a moment. Casey tried to get into a position where he would be facing Alan, but the werewolf had other plans in mind. He grabbed Casey’s wrist, and Casey tried ignoring how the other’s hand almost easily wrapped around his wrist. He tugged Casey close and Casey grunted as he stumbled in. Alan maneuvered them so Casey’s back was pressed against Alan’s chest. They were way too close now. He heard Alan sigh, pleased with the position before leaning his head back. Casey paused as he stared forward, and it was clear he was tense.
“Why are you so tense? This was supposed to relax you, not make you tense,” Alan murmured. Casey tried not to flinch with how close Alan sounded. They had to space apart, of course, the other was gonna sound close. He wasn’t used to this much physical contact, Casey was never one to like these sorts of things.
“I’m not used to this,” Casey said, deciding to be truthful for once. Alan hummed and Casey didn’t elaborate. The longer they were in there, the more Casey began to relax a bit more.
“You were married,” Alan said, and Casey went back to being tense. Well, there was his relaxing time. He didn’t know how to even respond to that. He didn’t like being the one questioned, he was the one questioning the other suspects.
“Maybe,” Casey answered and Alan didn’t say anything for a while. Casey was hoping that would be the end of it, but of course, things never went his way.
“Where is she?” Alan asked and Casey frowned. How would he know? She was screaming at him the last time they saw each other. It hurt seeing her screaming and crying, it was all his fault and he knew it. She took a lot out of him in the divorce and a part of him was spiteful but the other part understood her. Maybe if he was better, she would still be here and they could be happy again.
“I don’t know,” Casey said, not wanting to talk about this anymore. Wasn’t this supposed to be fun and relaxing? Why was Alan bringing up something unfortunate that happened to him? It was frustrating and honestly, it hurt more to bring it up. Here he was, taking a bath with a werewolf while his ex-wife was probably having the time of her life.
“She didn’t deserve you,” Alan murmured and Casey stiffened again. He didn’t like it when people said that. Was that supposed to comfort him? That he was better than her, and she was worse with him? Then why was she so damn happy away from him? Why was she smiling and laughing, while he drank himself to sleep all night? Why did she get to life so comfortably while he suffered? She didn’t deserve him, no one deserved Casey, because they deserved better. Alan’s arms around his waist seemed to tighten.
“You were better off without her, she was sucking the life out of you,” Alan said and Casey felt sick. What did that even mean? He was happy in his marriage and he would be damned if someone told him he wasn’t. He was growing more agitated now than sad about this whole ordeal. Who did Alan think he was telling him this? As if the other knew his relationship and his happiness.
“What do you know,” Casey angrily snapped, he was tempted to get up, but with Alan holding him close and the warmth of the water, it made it harder for his body to listen to him. He heard Alan sigh and Casey felt even more upset. This was stupid and a bad idea, he should’ve never let that damn mutt inside his home.
“I know that you deserved to be treated better, she didn’t treat you like she should’ve, if she did, you wouldn’t be this tired,” Alan said and that’s when Casey had enough. He shouldn’t even have humored this asshole with this whole bath thing. He should’ve just left and slammed the door in his face. He shouldn’t even have let him stay. He felt humiliated, upset, and angry. Casey got up abruptly and Alan grunted in surprise.
“Fuck you and your stupid theories, I was happily married for a long time. You don’t know jack shit,” Casey angrily shouted as he stormed out of the bathtub. It wasn’t very intimidating when he struggled to get out of the bathtub. He hoped that it didn’t look too goofy as he grabbed a towel and wrapped it around himself. Water was still dripping down as he swung the door open and began heading to his room. He heard Alan walking after him and saying
something, but with his anger and blood rushing to his ears he couldn’t hear the other properly.
“Get out! Get the fuck out of my apartment! Find someone else to entertain you, you bastard,” Casey shouted and Alan was saying something again. He didn’t care, and he certainly didn’t want to know. He didn’t need anyone talking about his ex-wife, sure he felt spiteful, hurt, and angry about her actions. He loved every bit of her, and this was his repayment? But another part of him still loved her and wanted another chance, despite it never going to happen.
“She isn’t coming back to you, and you know that! She doesn’t love you, she probably never did,” Alan shouted and Casey honestly felt more insulted. What the hell did this guy even know about him and Miranda? Why bring this up? What was his motive? Why was he toying with Casey like this? He couldn’t make any sense of it, and it was pissing him off even more.
“Fuck off,” Casey shouted. He heard Alan shout some more and Casey could feel himself growing hot. He was so pissed, he was so mad about everything in his life. He wanted a normal life, was that so hard? He wanted to live happily and peacefully, it wasn’t as if he was asking for much. He didn’t know what happened, but the next thing he knew his fist connected with Alan’s face. They fought, and Casey had more experience than Alan. It was easier to fight the other, but Alan did have more physical strength than him.
“You don’t know shit, you can’t just waltz in here and insult my marriage,” Casey shouted angrily. Alan had blood dripping down his chin, his lip was probably busted badly. Casey snarled as Alan ducked and swerved most of his punches. He even fought like a damn coward.
“Is dodging the only thing you know your piece of shit, talk shit and you can’t even back it up,” Casey snarled.
“I’d rather talk this out than start swinging like some animal,” Alan shot back angrily and Casey felt his anger rising all over again. Talking didn’t help with shit, what was there to talk about anyway. Sorry for bringing up your wife who left and probably cheated on you. Yeah right, fuck that.
“There’s nothing to talk about you asshole, you started this whole thing. You could’ve just kept your mouth shut! But no, you had to talk about something that isn’t your problem,” Casey angrily shouted. Alan seemed to sour even more after hearing that. Casey would expect the other to get upset with the punches Casey was able to land, but he seemed to be more upset with what Casey was saying. It was confusing for sure, but Casey wasn’t going to comment on it. He was just too riled up to say anything.
“You are my problem, she isn’t with you anymore, she shouldn’t even cross your mind,” Alan snarled and Casey was frowning. Why wouldn’t she? She was his ex-wife and he loved her for so many years.
“Don’t you think about her when I’m right in front of you,” Alan snarled as he lunged to grab Casey’s wrist. Casey faltered, not fighting back like he should have. Was Alan finally going to land a punch on him? He expected Alan to be bad at fighting, but not that bad. Alan was just all muscle not really any skills, a shame.
“Wha-” Casey was about to say when he felt a pair of lips crash onto his. He stumbled, back not expecting it, and all he could taste for a moment was blood. He was surprised to see Alan kissing him and Alan let go of his wrists to grip his waist tightly, pulling them together. Casey stumbled back onto the bed and Alan was on top of him looking down at him.
“You should only be thinking about me,” Alan insisted and Casey felt so confused. What the hell did he get himself into?
Chapter Text
Casey didn’t know what to say, all words and thoughts had died in his mind. What could he be saying at this moment exactly? He didn’t expect Alan to be like this, but honestly, he should’ve. No wonder the other got so upset when he talked to other people or when he would come home late. Alan was jealous because people were talking to him. Did Casey know why? He thought he was protective of Casey because he saved him, but now it felt strange. Alan was staring at him now, blood kept dripping down his face and Casey tried not to cringe at the sight. He was the reason the other was bleeding, and he had a good reason, so why did he feel so bad?
“I’m sorry,” Alan whispered and Casey felt even worse now. God, he really hated these emotions. He should be happy the other was apologizing, he should be demanding it, but now Alan looked like he was on the verge of tears. All the anger was gone from Alan’s face, and he just looked so pathetic now.
“I didn’t mean to make you this mad, I just…I just can’t stand it when you think about her,” Alan murmured and he looked so sad now. Casey bit his tongue as he wanted to point out that Alan brought her up first.
“You have her pictures all over this place, and you looked so unhappy,” Alan continued and Casey stiffened. Sue him, he had a few photos of their marriage still up. He wanted to be still in the denial phase, but he couldn’t be. Everything was real and he had to live that Miranda was gone and she didn’t even look back at him once.
“You’re still thinking about her even when I’m right in front of you,” Alan complained and Casey looked at him now. Alan looked upset and as if he was on the verge of tears and Casey stared. Blood was dripping down still, now it was on Casey’s towel and probably chest. He felt bad, was that normal? Casey reached up, his hands were slightly trembling as he wasn’t used to this. He wiped away the blood and Alan nuzzled the hand on his face.
“I didn’t mean to punch you this hard,” Casey decided to say. It wasn’t exactly an apology, but then again Casey was never good at those as well. Alan smiled as he pressed a kiss to Casey’s knuckle. He had taken Casey’s hand into his and he kept pressing kisses to his knuckles. They were bruised by how much Casey swung.
“It’s okay, you were looking at me the whole time,” Alan murmured and Casey didn’t even know what to say to that. He decided not to say anything as he let Alan nuzzle up to his hand. The room was quiet now and Casey just kept trying to wipe away the blood.
“We should get cleaned up,” Casey began and Alan let out a small growl. Casey almost laughed at it, but he held it in. He wiped away some more blood, his hand was stained with Alan’s blood and he didn’t know how to feel. It felt warm, he was used to blood on him but it felt weird knowing it was Alan’s.
“Come on, I don’t want you bleeding on my bed,” Casey murmured and Alan finally got up.
“Our bed,” Alan corrected and Casey paused. Alan didn’t say anything as well and Casey almost smiled at that. It was cute, and if Casey was honest the thought scared him.
“Our bed,” Casey agreed and Alan seemed to perk up at that. Casey snorted as he began putting on some pants at least. He threw a pair at Alan and the other caught it. It would be small on him, but he could deal with that. They headed back to the bathroom and Casey was about to leave to make some coffee. He was sure Alan could just clean himself up and they could talk about it all later. However, when Alan grabbed his hand and looked at him with pitiful eyes. He didn’t pull Casey back like he usually did, and Casey paused.
“Fine, I’ll help,” Casey sighed and Alan seemed to relax. Casey brought some wipes and some antibiotics to help clean the mess…he caused. Alan leaned back on the sink, and his hands wrapped around Casey’s waist as he pulled the other close. Casey tried not to focus that he was in between Alan’s legs and how tightly the other held onto him.
“Look up for me,” Casey instructed softly and Alan paused but did it anyway. Casey began wiping the blood that trailed down his neck. Alan sighed through his nose, as he held onto Casey. It took only a few moments before the other was clean. The problem now was that Alan kept trying to lean in for a kiss, and Casey kept shoving the other back so he could clean the other up.
“Cut it out, you can get a kiss later, right now I’m trying to clean you,” Casey grumbled and Alan leaned in for another kiss. Casey sighed as he pushed the other again and looked him in the eyes. Alan stared back, and his eyes were so gentle it made Casey feel anxious.
“It hurts,” Alan said and Casey sighed softly. Alan clung onto him tighter and Casey didn’t say anything for a moment. It felt oddly nice being so close to him like this.
“Don’t even think about it,” Casey said when he felt Alan’s hand begin to wander. Alan paused before Casey heard him chuckle. Casey was still upset with the other, how could he not be? The other brought up some sensitive things and it was upsetting. However, Alan seemed content to just hold him like this close. The two looked at each other again before Alan leaned down and Casey found himself rooted in the same place. They kissed again, and Alan tightened his grip around Casey’s waist.
“Wait, I’m still fucking mad at you, asshole,” Casey grumbled. Alan sighed but pulled away. He seemed to be restraining himself as he looked at Casey. Alan didn’t say anything as he stared at Casey.
“Now that you’re cleaned up,” Casey murmured. Alan leaned down again and continued to press kisses all over Casey’s neck. Casey paused as he flushed and he tried pushing the other away for a moment. Alan held onto his hand and pushed him away, he intertwined their fingers and pressed kisses all over his hand.
“Knock it off,” Casey grumbled but Alan didn’t bother listening. He just kept pressing kisses and Casey felt himself becoming less and less annoyed but actually enjoying the attention. God, he sounded and probably looked pathetic too. How long has it been since someone touched him like this?
“Alan,” Casey warned when Alan’s hands began to travel again. He could hear Alan sigh and grumble but Casey wasn’t letting his guard down that fast. He could feel the other pressing more kisses all over his neck. Casey let the other, but he also held on to being stubborn. He never let Alan lean too much into him or let his hands wander too much. Alan caught on that Casey wasn’t giving up and he changed his attitude.
“Please,” Alan whined and buried his face into the crook of Casey’s neck. He was craning his neck to hold the other close and Casey raised an eyebrow. Not even seconds ago, he was a grumbling asshole but here he was acting like some puppy.
“Please, what?” Casey asked and Alan whined even louder. Casey tried to ignore how Alan kept trying to pull him even closer to him. They were already way too close, there was barely any space. However, Alan didn’t seem happy with the “space,” in between them. He wanted to be as close as possible and he kept pulling the other closer to him.
“I was good, wasn’t it? I apologized and I’ve been listening,” Alan whined and Casey raised an eyebrow. He wouldn’t exactly say the other’s behavior was “good” but when Alan looked at him like that, he lost the thought.
“Really? You think you’ve been good?” Casey said as he raised an eyebrow. He managed to push the other away from his neck so they could see eye to eye. Casey watched Alan frowning and huffing unhappily. Casey looked at the other with a skeptical look.
“Please,” Alan begged softly as he refused to let go of Casey at this point. Casey tried taking a step back, so they could talk but Alan refused to let go. He held on and Casey sighed as he watched the other. He never really liked clingy people, but Alan was growing on him.
“So damn needy,” Casey grumbled and Alan nipped at his neck. Casey grunted when he felt Alan bit down harder at this point. He tried jerking away, not used to the feeling of being bitten like that. However, Alan held on and refused to let him go. Casey sighed and flinched when the other finally let go of his neck. He felt Alan press a kiss to the wound he made before he felt Alan dragging his tongue against it. Casey didn’t know how he felt about it and tried moving away again.
“Stop moving,” Alan growled and Casey paused. Alan seemed pleased and kept on licking the wound he made. Casey felt his ears grow warm as he wasn’t used to this attention. Alan leaned away from the sink he was leaning on and now he was pressing closer to Casey. Casey instinctively took some steps back, but Alan was already in front of him. This time, Alan pressed their lips together and Alan hungrily kissed the other.
“F-fuck, hold on,” Casey grumbled and Alan growled. Alan wasn’t looking too happy about being pushed away right now. However, Casey was out of breath and he felt lightheaded. This wasn’t what he was expecting at all and he never liked surprises that much. There was never a good surprise in his life, but Alan was staring and he was getting impatient.
“Don’t you like me? I like you,” Alan said, as he began trailing kisses down Casey’s jaw. Casey tried not to focus on the other’s words and more on the butterfly kisses he was getting. Alan nipped and kissed, making Casey softly hiss at the feeling.
“Come on, you have to like me back, right? I’d do anything for you, you know that? I watched you for so long too, I even waited so patiently for you to notice me,” Alan continued. Casey paused, what did that mean? Wasn’t their first meeting the time where he took Alan in? He couldn’t remember ever seeing Alan before that.
“W-what?” Casey muttered, barely focusing on anything. Alan’s hands were traveling freely now. His hands were touching, groping, gripping, and just grabbing anything he could. Casey was trying to breathe and keep a straight head despite Alan’s strange confession. He heard Alan chuckle and press another kiss to his neck and Casey was tempted to move his head slightly so Alan could have more room. Everything felt so warm and Alan was touching everywhere.
“I stayed so patient for you, I waited until you looked at me,” Alan continued as he kept kissing the other. Casey felt Alan’s hands travel toward the loose sweatpants he was wearing. Alan’s fingers were at the hem, and Casey grabbed the hands before they could pull his pants down. Alan paused, and Casey heard the other grumble ever so slightly. Casey’s face felt warm as he looked flushed. What the hell was Alan talking about? He had never seen the difference before and this was the first time they meeting, probably. But Alan looked so sure, and he looked so pleased with himself about it.
“Please? I could make you feel so good, better than anyone else,” Alan insisted and Casey felt the words die in his throat. What was he supposed to say? ‘Sure let’s fuck and get it over with?’ He couldn’t say that, but Alan wasn’t letting up and Casey felt his face burn when the other was touching him again.
“Not right now,” Casey softly murmured and he felt Alan pause. He heard the other growl ever so slightly and Casey couldn’t help the small smile on his face. When was the last time he felt this wanted from someone? Miranda didn’t even want him this badly, and it made him feel warm all inside that this…mutt wanted him more than anything.
“Not here,” Casey decided to emphasize and Alan let out a grumble. Casey didn’t say anything as he pulled away from Alan, despite the other protesting ever so slightly. Casey didn’t say anything as he walked off and Alan quickly followed after him. Casey didn’t know what he was doing but Alan seemed content to follow him back to the bedroom. Casey sat down on the bed and beckoned the other closer and Alan hurried over. Casey watched Alan go down on his knees in front of the other. Casey fought the smile from forming on his face when he saw how eager the other looked. Casey pressed his finger gently against the other’s bottom lip and Alan immediately opened his mouth and looked up at the other.
“So eager,” Casey murmured when Alan was looking up at him. His mouth was slightly open and he could see the other’s fangs ever so slightly in the light. Casey admired the look, and Alan was sitting so still. He didn’t move or even blink for a bit as he stared at Casey. His pupils were blown out of proportion as he was practically drooling now. Casey bit his lip slightly as he looked at the other.
“What do you want?” Casey murmured softly, and Alan was panting softly now. He saw pure want in the other’s eyes and he didn’t know if he could deal with that. Maybe this was a bad idea, but before he could say anything, Alan was opening his mouth to talk now.
“I want to suck you off,” Alan murmured softly as he began nuzzling his face on Casey’s thighs. Casey felt his face burn, okay he wasn’t used to people being this forward with him. Fuck, what should he say to that? Could he even make sure he said something normal? Alan was staring at him, his pupils still blown out. Alan began mouthing softly at his thighs, and Casey felt Alan’s fingers at the hem of his sweatpants. Casey was flushed red as he looked at the other with surprise. Alan was tugging his sweatpants now, and Casey burned even more red.
“Come on, take these off,” Alan whispered as he pulled them down. Casey let him this time, he didn’t know if he didn’t have the energy to push the other off. He didn’t mind it though, with how warm Alan’s hands were, it all felt so nice. He closed his eyes softly as he felt Alan’s hands on his thighs before he felt Alan nipping and pressing kisses all over him. He gasped softly when he felt Alan bite down hard on the fat of his inner thigh. He felt himself twitching slightly and he tried to pull away but Alan’s grip was tight. He heard Alan slightly growl before letting go of the area and licking the area. Alan didn’t even do much to him and he was already twitching and whimpering ever so slightly. Alan was pleased with himself and he moved away from the area.
“So pretty,” Alan praised softly. Casey was closing his eyes and trying his best to keep his breathing even. Casey felt Alan’s breath on his cock and he groaned ever so slightly. He was never used to making…whining noises, as he always found it embarrassing to make loud noises. He was always on the quieter side during sex, Miranda never complained but he doubted she cared much. Alan was a noisy one, whispering praise or whining ever so slightly. Casey let out a quiet hiss when Alan finally wrapped his lips around his cock. He twitched slightly and was about to move away, but Alan’s hands were wrapped around his thighs to hold him in place.
“F-fuck,” Casey hissed when Alan took him all the way down. His hands threaded through Alan’s soft hair and Casey pulled softly. He could feel Alan’s soft ears and it felt good to just touch it. Alan was groaning around his cock, and the vibrations were driving Casey crazy. Casey closed his eyes and let out a soft moan when he felt Alan tracing a vein on his cock.
“Even your cock is pretty,” Alan commented as he pressed a kiss to the tip. Casey flushed red at the compliment, not expecting it. Casey looked away, still petting through Alan’s hair and touching his ears. Alan sighed and rubbed his cheek against Casey’s cock, he looked up at Casey with eyes filled with adoration.
“Don’t stop,” Alan murmured softly as he kissed the tip of Casey’s cock again before taking it all the way down his throat. Casey let out a startled gasp as he tightened his grip on Alan’s hair. Alan hummed in appreciation and Casey twitched again at the feeling. It felt so good, how long had it been since anyone blew him like this? He knew he couldn’t last long as his face was red. He was still quiet which seemed to annoy Alan. He saw the other furrow his eyebrows ever so slightly and slipped Casey’s cock out of his mouth.
“Does it feel good?” Alan asked softly, his hands lazily jerking Casey off now. Casey twitched and looked at the other. He watched the other as Alan was staring up at him with those soft eyes again. Casey gave him a weak smile and a nod.
“If it didn’t, I’m sure you’d know that,” Casey murmured softly as he tugged on the other’s hair softly. Alan let out a pleased noise before speeding his pace up. Casey bit his lip as he held onto the other’s hair tightly. Alan was staring so intensely at him, it made him feel all so warm.
“I-I’m close,” Casey whispered weakly as he closed his eyes tightly. He could feel his orgasm coming closer, and the tight coil in his stomach was spreading. Alan let out a soft hum before wrapping his lips around the tip of Casey’s cock and sucked softly as he jerked the rest of him off. Casey let out an embarrassed noise as he twitched and pulled Alan’s hair tightly as he came. His body trembled slightly, how long had it been since his last orgasm anyway? He wasn’t one to just…jerk off or do anything, he was too tired most of the days. He was tempted to close his eyes and he slightly collapsed on the bed. He was sensitive and he felt so good. Alan swallowed everything and licked his lips. He felt Alan getting up, and Casey tried to turn his head away when Alan leaned in for a kiss.
“Fuck no,” Casey muttered and Alan smiled. Alan’s hands wrapped around his waist now, and Alan began to press kisses against the other’s neck. Casey turned his head slightly so Alan had more room. Casey barely noticed the other’s hand slipping towards his ass until he felt Alan’s fingers gently brushing against him. He jumped weakly and let out a soft groan. Alan pressed closer, caging Casey’s body in as Alan looked at him.
“Please,” Alan softly whined and Casey looked at the other with a sleepy look. Alan really didn’t do much and Casey was already exhausted from the blowjob. Alan nuzzled closer to him and let out a pitiful whine. He took Casey’s hand in his, Casey watched lazily as the other brought it down to his own hard-on he was having. Casey flushed a bit, not expecting the other to be so bold about it.
“Please, I was so good, wasn’t I? I did good, didn’t I?” Alan whispered softly. Casey closed his eyes tightly and let out a soft sigh. Alan did good, didn’t he. He was so good, and Casey wanted the other to be happy too. He moved up a bit and looked at the other, his ears were red.
“I…I never did this before, so you need to be gentle with me, okay?” Casey murmured and Alan perked up instantly at that. Alan looked happy to hear that he was Casey’s first. Casey didn’t know if he should be pleased or embarrassed to hear that. He never was used to people wanting him, maybe people did want him, but he never noticed them. He was too busy with Miranda or trying to get over her.
“I’m your first,” Alan whispered as he pressed a kiss to Casey’s thighs. Casey felt himself twitch slightly at the feeling. He was still sensitive from his first orgasm and he didn’t know if he could try and do it again. He gripped Alan’s hand for a moment, and Alan paused. Alan looked up at him with soft eyes, and Alan tilted his head. Casey flushed as Alan pressed a kiss to his thighs again.
“S-slow down,” Casey murmured and Alan paused for only a moment. Casey looked at the other and Alan was flushed red. Alan was breathing heavily and Casey was red. Casey knew that Alan was eager and it was cute watching the other waiting so patiently for him.
“Please…let me touch you,” Alan whispered and Casey paused. He was still trembling from the first one, could he really go another round? His thoughts were answered when Casey felt Alan press a finger inside of him. Casey jumped and was about to move away, but Alan’s other hand was gripping his waist tightly. Casey let out a weak groan as he felt Alan press another finger inside. It felt so strange, and he wondered where Alan got the lube. His thoughts were interrupted when Alan pressed a third finger and crooked them ever so slightly. He felt his body jump again and he let out a weak gasp. Alan let out a soft growl pleased with the noises Casey was making.
“You’re so quiet,” Alan grumbled, clearly not happy with Casey being so quiet. Alan kept pressing his fingers deeper inside of him. Casey closed his eyes and let out a weak gasp when Alan curled them again. The sensation was too much and Casey was weakly gasping and trying to move away from the pleasure.
“You’re taking me so well,” Alan murmured clearly mesmerized with Casey taking his fingers. Casey was panting softly and closing his eyes softly. Casey let out a weak noise when Alan slipped his fingers out, and Casey didn’t know if he was ready for what Alan had planned. Casey’s eyes were still closed and he was breathing softly. He was trying to calm himself and taking a few soft breaths. However, just as he was ready to doze off, he felt something hard pressing into his entrance. His eyes snapped open and he looked down and saw Alan’s cock trying to press inside of him. Casey weakly gasped and tried to move away. Alan growled lowly, and Alan’s hands were wrapped around his thighs. Alan pulled him closer and Casey was gasping weakly.
“W-wait, I can’t just take you like that,” Casey tried to say but Alan pulled him closer. He had this look of concentration in his eyes and Casey was flushed red. He didn’t need Alan to look at him like that.
“You can, you can take me, you’ll take me so well,” Alan praised and Casey let out a weak noise when he felt Alan press inside of him. The stretch was painful and Casey let out a weak sob. Alan paused for a moment, giving Casey a moment to breathe. Casey sobbed softly as he tried to get used to the feeling of being stretched. Alan was much bigger than he thought, and the stretch was driving him crazy. Alan paused, not moving and Casey weakly opened his eyes to look at the other.
“Y…you can continue,” Casey weakly murmured. Alan looked at him for a moment, before he slowly pressed more. Casey let out a weak hiss and he felt Alan stop. Casey looked down, feeling lightheaded with pleasure. Alan was pressed flush against him, fully sheathed inside. Casey was breathing heavily and he didn’t know if he could take anymore.
“Can I move,” Alan whispered, his voice on the edge. Casey closed his eyes and let out a soft noise. He nodded and opened his eyes when Alan began to thrust. Casey let out weak noises, gasps, and moans. It all felt too much, he was becoming already overstimulated. He was drooling slightly and he felt Alan lean close to drag his tongue against his chin. Casey let out an embarrassed noise as he felt Alan picking up the pace.
“F-fuck! S…slow down,” Casey weakly hissed but Alan’s grip on his hips and the bruising pace never stopped. Casey was panting and drooling, trying to take everything he could. It felt like it was too much but Alan was praising him and stumbling out sweet words.
“You’re so perfect for me, taking me so well, mine, all mine,” Alan growled and Casey felt lightheaded and everything felt like it was too much. He gripped onto Alan’s back, nails digging into his back tightly. Alan let out a pleased noise and gripped him tightly. It was so noisy, all of the sounds Casey’s body was making were so noisy. It was making him flushed and embarrassed but Alan was happy with it.
“Perfect, made for me,” Alan cooed softly and Casey was gasping softly. He was letting out whimpers now. Alan looked pleased with the noises, his thrusts were becoming more sloppy now. He was reaching his end too.
“Gonna fill you up,” Alan slurred softly in pleasure. Casey let out a weak moan and his body twitched as he came for the second time that night. His eyes rolled back as he felt Alan rut even more inside of him. All he felt was warmth, and Alan’s sinking his teeth into his shoulder before he passed out.
