Chapter 2
Summary:
After five days on the road the Nomads and Judy get to know each other.
Notes:
There wasn't going to be chapter 2. Originally it was just a one-off thing I wanted to try. Because it was well recieved and I had this idea for a continuation, I decided to give it a try. I am still experimenting with the form.

Chapter 3
Summary:
It's been three months since Judy and V have left Night City. They're living their best lives but V's clock is ticking.
Notes:
I'd like to think that I somewhat know the right formula for these comics now. Hopefully the dialogue is easier to read, especially on smartphones.

Notes:
Here's a transcript of Judy's and Mama Wells' conversation. I speak very little Spanish but I really wanted for Judy and Mama Welles to have a chat. Any correction is welcome.
J: Mrs. Welles, nice to meet you.
M: Nice to meet you too. Where are you from?
J: Born in Laguna Bend, raised in Night City.
M: How long have you known each other?
J: We've only known each other for a year, but I loved every minute with you, V.
M: You have to take care of her. She's special.
J: Well, I do my best.

Chapter Text
Notes:
The lyrics, used both at the beginning and the end, are from Mogwai's "Take Me Somewhere Nice." They perfectly encapsulate V's journey, in my view.
What's left now is the epilogue. V is cured and happy with Judy. No more dramas, no more conspiracies. Just Judy and V doing cool stuff.
Now some personal notes. Brace yourselves, this is going to be a long one. Here's what I wanted to say. I'd like to thank everyone who commented here and on Reddit. Words can't describe my gratitude. I could never have imagined such a warm reception. Making this comic and reading positive comments gave me so much joy in a very dark time in my life. I would also like to thank everyone who made it till the end of the story. I will release the epilogue soon, and then I think I will take a break. Not because it's hard making those comics, it's because I enjoy it so much. I have so many ideas for cool things for Judy and V to do. I also have an idea for a Panam spin-off set within the same universe. But at the same time, I don't want to overdo with this formula. Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart, and see you in the epilogue.
Chapter 12: Epilogue
Summary:
True to her word, Judy makes good on her promise to Rita. The girls head out for a night on the town.
Chapter Text
Notes:
"Take Me Somewhere Nice" has officially reached its conclusion.
Once again, a huge thank you to everyone who commented and everyone who made it to the end. This wouldn't have been possible without you!
The idea and the story were always in my head, but only after the amazing reception of the first two chapters did I think this could actually work.
Though the big story is over, I just can't let our beloved characters go. I have many ideas for slice-of-life stories, which I will be releasing every now and then. Perhaps I will even try to write a more traditional novel.
I keep saying I need a break, but I'm already working on a Panam spin-off, which I tried to set up in this epilogue. It won't be a long break, so stay tuned for more!
