They’d only known each other for a few months. Their stories both started the same, just like everyone's. White, everywhere, then grass. Maybe trees, depending on where you spawned. For them, the first thing they saw was each other.
It had been a few weeks since they had officially gotten together. Dating. Nobody knew but them yet, and they liked it that way. It was fun: to be secretly dating. Everyone always thought they’d be good for eachother, and they did too. Nobody knew that though, and that was the thrill.

It was a cool night. Just cold enough you had to be in long pjs but not warm enough you could be sleeping without covers. Unlucky for Skeppy, his diamond shards poking out of his skin from being a gemperson made it almost impossible to be comfortable under blankets.
Being a gemperson was weird to him. Why had he woken up with shards of one of the rarest gems in minecraft, scattered throughout his body and tearing him apart? It was pretty yes, but at times, very painful.
The wind outside whistled. It sent shivers down Skeppy’s spine and forced the groggy gemperson out of bed, reluctantly walking over to the window to cover it with makeshift curtains.
His hands ached. The wool he used scratched at him. Freshly sheared, dirty wool from the sheep they had outside. Horrible.
The downsides to the first few weeks of moving in, he supposed.
He got back into bed and yawned, trying to put the holey covers on him to get comfortable but as expected, failing. Skeppy twisted and turned, getting madder by the second. The more he moved, the more he tore holes in the blanket and mattress. The more he made holes, the more his gems were pulled at. Fuck.
Eventually he just got so fed up that he threw the cover off the bed and sat up quickly, forcing his door open and walking down the hall to Bad’s room.
They’d not slept in bed with each other yet. It was scary, for some reason. But Skeppy was too mad and just in aching pain all over to be scared of how Bad would react. He wanted to sleep. And whenever they cuddle, Bad is always warm. So..
He slowed to a stop right outside Bad’s closed door. He sighed and calmed himself down. Grabbing the handle, he twisted and opened the door to see the pitch black room. Ugh, gempeople vision was horrible. Or maybe it was just his vision. Either way, he couldn’t see shit.
Bad’s parrot, blueberry, that was a matching parrot to Skeppy’s, raspberry, was sleeping in his cage across the room from Bad’s bed, which was luckily right next to the door. He knew that from when the room wasn’t in complete darkness.
Skeppy placed his hand on the soft fabric of Bad’s bed and slowly walked along it, making sure to find Bad’s body before climbing in his bed.
He felt something.. thin? And after a few seconds it clicked that it was Bad’s tail. Skeppy smiled softly, admiring his demon boyfriend in his head. He climbed in the bed and slowly dragged himself under the covers, turning to snuggle into Bad’s back.
He was apparently shirtless, as when Skeppy went to wrap his arms around him he felt bare skin. But, he was supposed to feel wings too… He felt around a bit for, carefully as to not wake Bad, but then he realized he was touching abs . Full on, abs. He was touching Bad’s chest. He blushed madly, not meaning to be in this position.
Skeppy was about to push away and be less touchy when Bad shifted, and his arm dropped on Skeppy’s side, keeping him where he was. His cheeks felt hotter. A lot hotter. Especially since now there was no way out of his boyfriend’s warm, big, comfortable.. soft.. loving.. embrace…
Skeppy’s eyes fell shut, his breathing calmer and finally, he was comfortable enough to sleep. He leaned his head in the crook of Bad’s neck, cuddling his demon.
Bad must’ve felt the new addition, because suddenly he tensed up and shot his eyes open, the milky white glow facing Skeppy’s raven black hair.
“Oh.. Hi Skeppy..” He muttered quietly. Groggily. His voice was low, raspy. Hot .
“I couldn’t sleep..” Skeppy muttered, snuggling into Bad’s warm body more. Bad hummed in response. He shifted slightly and brought one of his wings under Skeppy, the other over. “I don’t wanna scratch your wings Ba-” “Shut up.” And so he did. Bad’s wings brought him into a tight, loving hug. Skeppy leaned into them, realized how hard it really would be to scratch them.
“ ‘Love you, ‘geppy..” Their faces both heated up, but in a comfortable way. “I love you too, Bad..” a hum. “G’night..” His words were slurred. It almost made Skeppy giggle, but he didn’t, as to not ruin the moment. “Goodnight, Badboy..”
—
The sun shone through Bad’s curtains, lighting up the room with a soothing golden glow. Skeppy’s back was facing the window, and somehow it was warming up his back even through Bad’s wings.
Bad woke up first. He felt the other in the bed and opened his eyes, not recalling what had happened the night before. Soon he woke up more and realized. He didn’t mind the addition to his morning though, as Skeppy was absolutely adorable.
His mouth was slightly agape, his breathing steady and rhythmic. His eyes were softly shut, his eyelashes somehow even prettier in the golden light of the room. Bad planted a gentle, tender kiss on his forehead.
He moved his wings back to their usual spot: folded against his back. He turned onto his back, sitting up. Skeppy stirred, waking up whining at the loss of warmth. Bad set his hand in his lover’s hair, petting him and trying to sooth him.
To both boys' surprise, it didn’t work. Skeppy sat up and crawled in between Bad’s legs, pressing a quick kiss on Bad’s lips before turning around and plopping himself in Bad’s lap. He leaned back against Bad, turning his head to rest it on the demon’s shoulder and hugging one of his boyfriend’s arms.
“S-skeppy! We have to get up-!” Skeppy whined, tugging on Bad’s arm in protest. “Just a few more minutes.. you’re comfortable..”
—
“I just wanna stay with you for one more minute, you’re so comfortable Bad…” “No Skeppy, I have to go get us supplies.” “But- ugh fine…”
“I found this weird.. red.. egg.. while out.” “Oh? Can you lead me to it?”
“Do you think.. everyone will be able to forgive me?..”
—
Deja Vu, but from when?
Old memories filled Bad’s mind for a minute, flashes of a red egg.. and suddenly they were gone. Forgotten again. There was a now lingering dread in Bad’s heart, as if leaving Skeppy right now would cause their relationship to completely fall apart.
“Okay, but only because you’re so cute right now.” Bad smiled fondly, bringing a hand up to tap Skeppy’s nose and kissing his scalp.
Skeppy’s shirt was torn to the point of no return. Bad noticed this and figured it’d be better to just have it off. He put his hands on his lover’s hips, digging his nails in slightly to get a reaction out of Skeppy.
He sighed, bringing one hand up behind Bad’s neck and grabbing it. Bad just smiled, slowly, softly, bring his hands up under skeppy’s shirt and tracing along his diamonds as he moved the shirt up and finally took it off.
“Mm.. what’re you doing Bad..” Skeppy muttered, keeping his eyes closed.
“Loving you.” Bad responded, breathlessly. The moment was much more intimate than he had originally planned, but neither were complaining. The warmth they got from each other's bodies was enough to not make either get up.
Finally, he got the shirt off of his lover and tossed it on the floor, softly placing his hands on Skeppy’s sides to rub against his skin gently.
He traced around the gemperson’s shards, the big and the small, sending shutters throughout the smaller boy’s body. “Bad..” Skeppy whimpered, sighing shortly after in contentment.
Bad gently grabbed Skeppy’s sides, turning him around to face him. His eyes were shut, but he was still awake. Much to his dismay. The burn marks that littered half his face, most of his body always caught Bad’s attention.
They made Bad sad. Sad for Skeppy. Especially since he.. no one knew where it came from. “I wish you could know what happened.” Bad muttered, tracing the edges of the scars on his face and moving down. Skeppy’s eyes opened softly. He frowned.
Skeppy lifted Bad’s shirt up, and Bad allowed him to take it off. Skeppy placed a hand on his stomach, softly, spreading his hand out over the stab wound scar. “ I’ll kill whoever did this to you, Bad.. ” He thought.
“The same goes for you, my Angel.” He smiled weakly, looking up at Bad’s eyes. He brought his hand back to his sides, then to his lap, and he leaned forward into Bad’s chest. Bad smiled, resting his head gently on Skeppy’s while he traced Skeppy’s scars, having them memorized already.
A shaky breath escaped Skeppy, and Bad stopped for a moment. “I think it must be.. somewhat recent. They still hurt..”
Bad pushed him back and grabbed his cheeks, kissing his forehead; Gently wiping away the tears that had formed and fell onto the soft skin. He pressed their foreheads together and stayed there for a moment, letting tears fall from Skeppy’s eyes as the pain buzzed throughout him. “M’ sorry, love..” Bad muttered.
“I love you Bad.” He smiled. Bad smiled back. “I love you too, My diamond.”
