Chapter Text
Dejiko was standing at the edge of the shore, trembling in fear. How the hell did she let that stupid simp boy talk her into this?!? She scowled, cursing him in her head. There was no reason not to blast him with her Me Kara Beam right then and there! However, stupid Usada, could twist the story into meaning that she was coward. Dejiko thought about blasting her as well.....
She noticed Puchiko splashing around in the water (did you see that?!? I just namedropped the name of the chapter!!! I deserve an Laureate).
Puchiko turned to her sister.
“Dejiko nyu, what are you waiting for?”
“N-nothing...just...admiring the.....wetness.....nyoooo....”
“Well, from my point of view, I’d say that your just being a big wuss! It’s not like we’re asking you to dive, just stand in the shallows for a while!” complained Usada.
Dejiko scowled even harder.
“Well....w-well your FACE is stupid nyo!!” retorted Dejiko. Usada little comment had made a mark on her.
“And I am NOT A WUSS!!” with that, Dejiko stepped one foot into the ocean.
It sent a shiver up her spine.
Eughhh...it’s wetter than I remember....no one told me it would be all damp nyo!! she thought.
Dejiko sucked air through her teeth. It was all or nothing. She took a few more steps in until the water level was up to her knees. It wasn’t a lot since Dejiko was quite short, but she still felt nervous.
“Come on Dejiko! You can do it!” Minataku called.
Dejiko made a face. She did not want words of encouragement from a loser like him. Nevertheless, she continued wading through the ocean. Soon enough, the water was up to her stomach.
Dejiko turned her head towards the shore.
“Guys, and this is enough right? You said I didn’t have to like, dive or swim right nyo?”
Usada nodded.
“However,” continued the purple haired rabbit girl, ”try and stay there for a bit, see if you can handle it.”
Dejiko winced. She looked at her surroundings. Water.....water.....more water....
Woah, this is actually pretty calming nyo... she started to relax. Maybe water wasn’t so bad as she thought.
“Hey guys! I think I’m okay nyo!”
“Hooray!” cheered Minataku.
“Okay.” Usada commented.
“Pui nyu.” nyu’d Puchiko.
With that, the 4 kids played in the ocean for ages. After a while, Minataku noticed something moving in the water. And it was getting...closer.
Usada peered at the boy.
“Minagawa-san, what are you staring at?”
“I’m not really sure myself... somethings moving though.” he pointed in Dejiko’s general direction.
She looked in the direction Minataku was pointing. Sure enough, there was something moving in the water. The thing seemed to be grey, with a dorsal fin sticking above the surface.
Usada’s eyes widened in terror.
“We have to get out. Now.”
She frantically swam to the shore, dragging a confused Minataku behind her. Puchiko, being the sensible little girl she was, had evacuated ages ago. She didn’t inform the others, for whatever reason. There was only one person still in the waters.
Dejiko.
“DEJIKO! YOU IDIOT, GET OUT OF THE WATER RIGHT NOW!” she shouted.
“No way nyo, I haven’t enjoyed the beach in ages, and I won’t let you ruin I for me nyo! Not now, not ever! Never again!!”
“That’s not what I mean-”
“Plus, even if I wanted to leave, I couldn’t, my bell is full of uranium nyo.”
“You-? What-I- IT DOESNT MATTER! GET OUT OF THE WATER UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET EATEN AND DISMEMBERED HORRIBLY!” Usada spluttered.
But Dejiko wasn’t listening. She leaned back on to her comically large floaty and close her eyes to sleep. The fin drew closer.
“Oh, it’s horrible,” wailed Minataku,” I cant bare to watch!” He collapsed into Usada’s arms, shielding his eyes. Usada shut her eyes too. Puchiko seemed to be making a sandcastle.
Dejiko’s demise was swimming closer and closer. Dejiko was mumbling something about rice in her sleep. All of a sudden there was a flash drive of greenish-blue.
“Look, it’s Abarenbou nyu.” squeaked Puchiko.
Usada opened her eyes. Minataku stayed unconscious.
Puchiko was right, it was Abarenbou! He was dashing towards Dejiko at lights speed. Just as the bloodthirsty dolphin was about to sink it’s teeth into the green haired girl, he swiftly picked her and the floaty up without breaking a sweat. He leapt towards the dolphin, and took it out with a swift kick, which was swiftier than the aforementioned pick.
He threw her to the shore, and she landed directly on top of Gema, who was asleep for the majority of this fanfiction.
“Thank you... thank you for saving Dejiko...” whispered Usada, her eyes glistening.
Abarenbou glanced towards all of the children. He farted, and disappeared into the horizon.
