As soon as Tommy and Kim landed back in the basement of Dr. Oliver's home, everyone who was in the room when they landed looked at them in awe.
Those who had known both of them for years knew how great the both of them were. No one realized, up until now, just how much potential they had and how powerful they were together.
They had beaten powerful foes today not just once. But twice.
They were both exhausted, everyone could see. But it was worth it. No more would they have to deal with the likes of their oldest enemies like Master Vile, the Machines, Dark Specter and others. And the newest enemies wouldn't be back for a long time because the Falcon and Crane's magic was strong and would keep the Abyss closed for a long time.
Of everyone in the room, Zordon's smile was the biggest. He'd seen Tommy and Kim grow together in their teenage years, be separated by no fault of their own, and then come back together against all odds.
The goal that Tommy had set right after he retired from the Turbo Rangers was now a reality. The wedding that everyone had hoped for since the 1990s was now going to happen.
"Did that really just happen, Tri?" Jason asked.
"It just did. But I'm not even sure I can believe it," Trini said. "Those two just annihilated an entire army, just as Rita, Zedd and those who worked with them said they could do if everything broke right."
"I'm not sure any of us can believe it," Conner said. "I can't believe it's finally over."
"The two year-long quest to get Dr. O and Ms. Hart back together has finally come to fruition," Kira said. "Conquerors of worlds are gone for good."
"I just wish they could have destroyed Mesogog as well," Trent said. "But it's understandable. That was unbelievable what they just did."
"All I can say is, February 18, 2006, will be a day that will be remembered by all of us," Hayley said.
"Forever," Zedd added.

Ever since they'd had their child rescued six days ago, Conner and Kira feared this day.
However, the day had now come.
They knew this had to be done though.
There was no way they could go on with their lives as they were and take care of a child. Not with Kira's music career blooming, and not with Conner having great years of soccer ahead of him.
"Think of it this way, Con," Kira said. "At the very least, he won't be corrupted by that witch, now or ever."
Conner shuddered at the thought. The thought of Adrianna Repulsa using a child, HIS child, for her own evil purposes pretty much made him want to run to the restroom and throw up on the spot. Kira was right about that, this was the one solace of the whole situation.
"Who is he going to be going to?" Conner asked.
"Friends of a friend I had here on Earth," Zordon said. "The former Head of NASADA, Commander Norquist, had a number of friends; among them was the Carson family, who live in California. They will take good care of him and see that he is not corrupted by the power of evil, now or ever."
"They'll be here in moments, so if you want to say your last goodbyes to your child, Conner, now would be the time," Zordon said.
Conner held his child close. He knew that it would be many years before he saw his child again; he was going to savor this time with him any way he could.
It was sad that it would have to end like this, but Conner knew he had a life ahead of him, and could not afford to have too many responsibilities at this young age.
A few minutes later, a knock at the door was heard.
"That's them," Zordon said knowingly.
As Kira and Conner met the Carson family, many of their worries were relieved. They felt a lot better about handing this child off; these guys seemed trustworthy and a good bet to take care of Bridge until the time came for them to meet once more.
After the adoption papers had been signed, and the Carsons had left with Bridge, Conner broke down and Kira comforted him as best she could.
They had their whole lives ahead of them, but that didn't make this any easier.
At least the threat was over, though. And, they had the big wedding in February of next year to be ready for.
It was going to be, as every Power Ranger was calling it, the Wedding of the Century. Certain individuals had been waiting for this since the early to mid 1990s.
It was now finally going to happen.
February 18, 2006

After months of crazy preparation on both sides (and if it hadn't been for each one of their friends helping them, this day would never have happened), it was finally here.
Rita Repulsa had tried to stop it. Lord Zedd, Master Vile, King Mondo, Divatox, Mesogog and his merry band of misfits, and most notably Adrianna Repulsa had tried to stop this day.
They had all failed, because of the resilience and refuse to lose attitude of the two individuals who had finally, deservedly, made it to this glorious day.
Not that the two hadn't had their embarrassing moments on the way there though.
Kim still loved ribbing Tommy about his bachelor party about five weeks earlier. There were a number of times when Tommy had gotten wasted during graduate school talking with Hayley, but nothing like this. He'd pretty much had a shot of every sort of alcohol under the sun.
He'd been buzzed for days after that. School the week after that hadn't gone well for him, and every one of his teammates, including his fiancee, had fun with him all week long.
Similarly, Kimberly had her own moments of hysteria in the run up to the wedding, specifically with the dress she was going to wear. It seemed that she'd tried on a million dresses, but all of them had a flaw in some way.
In all, she tried on 12 dresses before finally settling in on the one she wanted, on try number 13. Surprisingly to most of the guys, Tommy had chosen to take the high road on this, choosing to just go along with whatever his fiancee needed.
When asked by most of the guys why he had just simply let it go, Tommy had said, "because it's going to come back around on me whether I do or I don't so it doesn't really matter, my priority is keeping her happy."
As it turned out, that had been a smart suggestion because of the bachelor party.
Now, though, the day was finally here. And pretty much everyone who mattered was there.
All the Ranger teams, no matter who they were, were in attendance, from the first team to the latest. Everyone had found a way to come; they knew there was no other recourse. Anyone who missed this was subject to severe ridicule for years to come.
They also had brought their morphers. No one thought they'd actually need the Morphers, Dino Gems, Growl Phones, what have you, but just in case there was some sort of sneak attack they'd be ready.
To the local Rangers surprise, the wedding would not be officiated by the priest of the church. Instead, Zordon had brought in a long-time priest and friend from Eltar, named Mani, who had been licensed throughout the galaxy including on Earth to moderate weddings.
Tommy and Kim had hit it off right away with him, and hoped to some day speak more with him as they walked the paths of life together, at long last.
Now, then, it was time, as Tommy and Kim emerged from the back of the church to a standing ovation. First, the Dino Thunder team and Hayley, standing in the back of the church, stood up and cheered, chanting, "Dr. O! Dr. O! Dr. O!"
They as much as anyone else, knew how much this day meant because they'd played a huge factor in this day happening. Without the defeat of Mesogog, and then their help in the Adrianna fiasco, this day would never have occurred.
Across from them, Rita, Zedd, Selena, Divina, Zordon and those associated with those four cheered loudly as well. With the exception of Zordon, once fierce adversaries a decade ago, they too had played a huge role in this day happening.
One by one, the teams, and parents, stood up and paid their respects. Even the Alien Rangers from Aquitar, who had known Tommy but not Kimberly, had come to pay their respects.
Then, right as Tommy and Kim reached the front, Zordon's Original 12 stood up and cheered the loudest.
If one could be there right now, they would see that the original teams had tears in their eyes. At varying levels, they'd known one or both individuals over the years. The first nine of Zordon's Original 12 had known both individuals the longest and the best, and they'd been there for the best and worst moments the both of them had.
It was only fitting that they'd be seated front row for Tommy and Kim's crowning moment.
As the wedding got underway, most of the crowd had wondered what Tommy and Kim would come up with for their vows. Most had known in the Ranger community, in the lead up to the wedding, that Tommy and Kim had chosen to write their own vows. Some of the older Rangers even thought they knew what they'd say for years, back when they were teenagers.
After about a half hour, it was time for that very moment.
Tommy was first up.
"Kimberly Ann Hart, my powerful Pterodactyl, my tenacious Firebird, my Beautiful Crane," he said as he put his wedding ring on Kimberly's finger, "When I came to Angel Grove in 1993, I was a teenager without vision, without direction, seemingly, without hope."
"And then, seemingly out of the blue, you showed up, and changed my life forever. There hasn't been a day since that point where I haven't thought about you, together or apart. Some of the newer Rangers thought at first that me thinking about you all the time was an unhealthy obsession. That is, until they fell in love with each other too and couldn't say anything anymore."
"You were, are and will forever be my rock, my pillar and my strength and to me, time has determined that we are meant to be and nothing can stop us, no matter who they are. They tried to tear us apart, yet here we are."
"I, Thomas Oliver, take you, Kimberly Ann Hart, my Beautiful, to be my lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do us part."
"Kimberly?" Mani said.
"Dr. Thomas Oliver," Kimberly could barely breathe, she was shaking so much as she put her ring on Tommy's finger, "my daring Dragon, my white Tiger in shining armor, my soaring Falcon, my bold Brachio."
"When I first met you in 1993, the word that came to mind for me was starstruck," Kimberly said. "I'd never seen anyone as good looking, as breathtakingly handsome as you were. Nor had I met anyone that ever had more of a massive guilt complex."
"The fact of the matter is though, I chose you back in 93 because when I met you, I saw something in you that few others did. I saw the tenacity, the toughness, the leadership ability and the never-say-die attitude that I needed in my life. You say you lacked discipline when you met me, my life was in total tatters until I met you."
"Every moment, good or bad, that we've ever had since that point has shaped our lives in ways that we could never have imagined. And when it all came down to it, when someone tried to come between us, you showed me what you were truly made of. You fought for me, though neither me, nor anyone else could see it. You quietly got to work and did what was necessary."
"Because of your resiliency, your leadership ability that I absolutely adore, and your off the charts talents, is why we are here today, and why they can't take us apart ever again."
"I, Kimberly Ann Hart, take you, Dr. Thomas Oliver, to be my lawful husband, to have and to hold, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do us part."
"If anybody has any objections to the holy union which is about to take place, speak now or forever hold your peace," Mani said, looking around for a few moments. The place was about to explode with joy.
"Then by the power vested in me by the Universe at large, and by the Great State of California, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Tommy, you may now kiss your bride."
Much like what happened on the first day of summer, 2004, when Tommy kissed Kimberly, the ground began to shake. Yet, nothing was coming apart. Suddenly, much like that night, lightning flashed and thunder crashed outside as the sky lit up with many different colors. White and pink were foremost among them, but others such as green, purple, orange, yellow, red, blue also lit the skies.
Not just in California and on Earth either. This phenomenon was happening all throughout the Universe at the same time. Everyone who was watching this ceremony knew why this was.
When the quake finally settled down, everything still in tact, Mani was utterly astounded.
Truly, these two were meant to be.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, for the very first time ever, Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Oliver!"
6:30 p.m., that night
Angel Grove Youth Center
Angel Grove, CA
30 minutes into the reception for the Original Power Couple and the place was already teeming with electricity and juice.
There was a buffet that had been set up for all groups of people, even a section for those specific to the planets where some of those not of Earth had come from.
Everyone had arrived, even the newly minted couple, and the party was in full swing. Most even had their food.
"Attention!" a deep male voice suddenly boomed. Everyone turned to the front, as they all knew who said it. They all looked at Jason, who appeared to be holding some sort of script in his hand or something. With him was Trini, of course.
"Jason, don't scare them like that," Trini said.
"Sorry, hon, it was the only way they were going to pay attention," Jason said.
Trini rolled her eyes as Jason turned back to his piece of paper.
"For those who don't know me, and I'm sure most of you do, my name is Jason Scott, and I've known these two lovebirds for as long as I can remember. I've known Tommy since he came from Arizona and became one of us and Kim and I have known each other since I was in diapers."
"Fact of the matter is, as soon as 1993 I knew this day needed to happen. There were times when I didn't know if it would happen, like when Tommy the idiot over here put himself in a coma two years ago."
"But in the end, these two were not going to be denied, no matter what was put in front of them. They truly earned this day. These two are the epitome of what wearing a Ranger uniform is about, stay together, never give up and never give in, no matter what the cost.
"Congratulations, you two, and I can't wait to see how your lives unfold. Finally, after 10 years, the ghosts of the Letter and Adrianna is now dead."
Everyone hooped and hollered at that because they all knew it was true. February 14, 1996 was one of the darkest days in Ranger history, but February 18, 2006 was one of the best.
And no one knew that it was about to get even better than they imagined.
8:00 p.m.
The party was still in full swing, and every one of the couples in attendance had done their fair share of dancing...and many still were.
Until suddenly, Wes quickly ran up next to Jason, who then quickly turned toward Zack and Angela, who were, of course, manning the tunes that night, and said, "Cut the music! Raise the lights."
Everyone wondered what the specific stop in action was, until Jason said, "Watch what's about to happen. This night's about to get even better. Wes, I believe you have something to say?"
"Indeed I do," Wes said. "Lest you forget, there was...ANOTHER couple that was brought back together by this whole Adrianna fiasco."
Everyone gasped as Wes pulled a small box out of his pocket. They knew what it was, but every one of them wondered how long he had been holding that wedding ring.
"I know what you're wondering, why didn't I do this sooner. The answer is simple; out of deference for the couple of the night," Wes said. "It's because of them that Jen and I are back together again, so I thought it would be appropriate to let them have their day first. But now that it's happened..."
He suddenly pulled Jen into a passionate kiss.
"Jennifer Scotts, for five years, I have been dreaming of this day and I was awestruck when you came back to this time...for me. At the same time, you played a key role in our victory."
Everyone in the room simply watched in reverent silence as Wes slipped the ring on Jen's finger.
"You are forever the love of my life, Jennifer Scotts, and I ask of you: Will you be my wife?"
It took Jen just a moment to let it sink in as she was so taken aback, but she quickly recovered.
"I came back to this time for this very moment. I just didn't know it would happen on THIS night," Jen said. "Yes, I will be your wife."
Everyone screamed and hollered AGAIN. No one had seen that coming.
"Go ahead, hit the music!" Wes said, as the music started playing again.
Indeed, it had been the wedding of the century, with the promise of another great wedding on the way. Finally, the Falcon and Crane were together as one.
Forever.
