ID: 1. Exterior shot of the house, labeled 'vampire residence' at the bottom in the show’s font. The panel is split in half, one side showing daylight and the other showing nighttime. Dialogue on the night side says 'Interview with Nandor, March 2nd, 4am.' Dialogue on the day side says 'Interview with Guillermo, March 3rd, 4pm.' Both are followed by 'Rolling.'“ width=“100% ID: 2a. The panel is split, with Nandor sitting on the right side in the nighttime, lit from the front, and Guillermo sitting on the left side in the daylight, lit from behind. From the present, Guillermo continues, 'He’s not very subtle.' Present Nandor says, 'I am just…giving him space after his very embarrassing emotional outburst the other night.'“ width=“100% ID: 3a. Split shot of the boys on the couch. Offscreen, one of the documentarians asks them both 'So…what actually happened between you guys?' Guillermo laces his fingers together over his stomach and looks away nervously, pinching his lips together. Nandor laces his own fingers together and looks straight ahead, sweating. 3b. Repeat. Guillermo looks at the camera with a grimace, cheeks reddening, and holds his hands up in a helpless shrug. He says, 'Look, I was really sleep-deprived…' Nandor whips his head away haughtily, cheeks going purple, and twists his hands further into each other, declaring, 'My pinkie was on the line!'“ width=“100% ID:1a. Two empty horizontal panels, the first light blue fading to sunset and the second fading to darker blue. Time has passed and night is falling. 1b. Waist-up of Guillermo still on the couch in the library doing a talking head, elbow propped on the arm and leaning his cheek on his hand, looking frustrated. He says, 'So, yeah. That’s what happened.' The light from the windows behind him as diminished significantly. 1c. Zoom out as Guillermo stands suddenly, throwing his arms up helplessly and declaring 'And he hasn’t spoken to me since!'“ width=“100% ID: 2a. Knees-up of Guillermo as he crosses pas the window to lean on the fireplace mantle, arms crossed, looking thoughtful. He says, 'I think I went a little far… Nandor’s always been possessive of his- I mean, what he considers his possessions.' 2b. Zoom out, Guillermo stretches one arm out against the mantle, wiggling his fingers uncertainly as he grimaces and squints toward the other side of the room, cheeks reddening. He continues, seemingly trying to convince himself as well as the camera crew, 'It’s nice to think he wants to keep me, but for all I know he was just procrastinating on getting a new familiar…for ten years…' 2c. Guillermo tugs at the collar of his cardigan and giggles nervously, still avoiding the camera’s gaze. He says, 'It doesn’t automatically mean… I was under a lot of stress, and being pushy and… I just think I jumped the gun there.' The background fades to sepia, showing a flashback to act 2, Guillermo on top of Nandor in the chair and declaring Nandor loves him as Nandor hesitates on responding.“ width=“100% ID: 3a. Repeat. Guillermo turns fully toward the camera and claps his hands together decisively, the flashbacks dissolving into smoke behind him. He says, 'So. Focusing on number one! That’s me. She grins and announces, 'The Vampiric Council's entire history on the Van Helsings!' 1b. Repeat. Guillermo turns toward her in his seat and reaches for the scroll on top of the stack, saying, 'Huh. I don't know if I expected more or less.' The Guide frowns, one hand on her hip and the other gesturing at the stack. She replies, 'Hey, I went through a lot of trouble to pull all this out of storage! Vampires don't exactly love talking about this guy.' A wraith hand reaches up from behind the bar to snatch Guillermo's water.“ width=“100% ID: 2a. Guillermo turns back toward the bar and begins to unroll the first scroll across the bartop, revealing what looks like a family tree. He says, 'Yeah well. Thanks for your help.' The Guide stands behind him with her arms crossed. 2b. Repeat. The Guide rolls her eyes up innocently and walks around Guillermo, sliding her hand across his back as she passes, saying, 'Soooo...' Guillermo startles at the contact, his scroll springing back into a roll as he loses his grip on it. 2c. The Guide hops up to sit on the bar on Guillermo's other side and continues, 'Why the sudden interest?' 2d. Close up of Guillermo in profile as he turns his attention back to the scroll, replying, 'Oh, you know. Family.' The Guide stares blankly from the background. 2e. Wide shot from behind Guillermo, showing the backdrop of the bar with the neon 'nadja's' sign and shelves of blood. The Guide leans back and crosses her legs, asking, 'Hmmm... looking for relations?' Guillermo replies, 'No, just. Trying to figure out some...biological stuff.'“ width=“100% ID: 3a. Guillermo swivels in his seat to face her with an irritated sigh, eyes closed. 3c. Close up of Guillermo's stern expression as he chops the air with one hand, saying, 'Yeah, that's really, uh... tough, The Guide? But unless you remember anything useful, I'd rather do this on my own.' 3d. Reverse shot of the Guide as she purses her mouth and looks away, a little hurt. She replies, 'Oh. Guillermo just grunts in response. 4b. Wide shot of the large double doors into the chamber as the Guide leaves through them, skirts clutched in her fists and frowning deeply. Close up on the Guide sitting in front of the open drawer of a filing cabinet as she lifts up a record with both hands and triumphantly exclaims 'Ah-ha!' The record cover is labeled 'taxes 1972' but this is crossed out. Other items filed in the drawer between Manila dividers include candles, some brightly colored plastic items, and what could be a dildo. Behind her in the room are an electric water heater and a poster from the film Van Helsing starring Hugh Jackman. ID: 2a. Close up on the Guide smiling as she places the record on an old fashioned phonograph with a horn and taps the spindle thrice before she places it. 2b. Zoom out, the Guide plops down to the floor in a lotus position and closes her eyes as the record begins spinning and making sounds. 2c. Close up on the phonograph horn as a scratchy-looking speech bubble erupts from within, featuring a stoic-looking Laszlo with horn-rimmed glasses. He says, 'Welcome to Dr. Cravensworth’s Self-Hypnosis for Easy Recall, side A.' 2d. The record’s dialogue continues over an aerial shot of the Guide concentrating in her lotus pose, fingers pinches together at her knees, 'Where we seek to remind all our patients, ‘don’t forget…to remember.’ Now…you are walking through the corridor of your mind…' The white Dias the Guide appears to be sitting on begins to splinter off, overlapping squares of glitching black swirling around the back and breaking off into chunks to reassemble as a curved gray hallway beneath her, lined on each side with closed doors. The lines are glitching and shaky, as if struggling to keep their form. Walking down the corridor is a second Guide, seen from above, hair down and glove-free, wearing a pitch black off the shoulder dress with a long train and sleeves.“ width=“100% ID: 1a. Close up of the Guide as a waist-up construct of Guillermo, naked and slathered with some kind of oil, pops up in the hallway behind her. He smiles and says, 'Hello, again!' The Guide looks over to him with a pleased smile, eyes respectfully above the neck, and says to herself, 'Oh, Guillermo! Speaking of…' He continues walking, eyes on the door offscreen, and declares, 'Don’t worry, I’ve got this!' 1e. Repeat. The side of Guillermo’s head and shoulder close in frame as he walks past the Guide to the door. The Guide smiles happily at his back, gaze still respectful but with a little heart floating by her head. She says, 'I appreciate the help!'“ width=“100% ID: 2a. Zoom out, Guillermo in the foreground braced up against the door, one oily hand slipping and sliding over the locked knob. The size of the panel is just barely keeping his modesty intact, but if it wasn’t clear before that he’s totally naked you can definitely tell now. Still smiling amicably, he replies, 'Of course! We’re friends!' The Guide stands behind him in the corridor, arms clasped demurely behind her back as she furrows her brow and says, 'Yes…friends help friends, don’t they.' 2b. Extreme close up on the Guide in profile, background glitching out into a blurred pattern of black and gray squares. She stares forward, lost in thought, and continues, 'I’m…I’m a good friend. I do remember that.'“ width=“100% ID: 1a. Close up on naked oiled fantasy Guillermo as he turns his perpetual smile at the Guide, eyes shining. He holds up a fist and says, 'Are you kidding? You're doing all this just to help me.' 1b. Reverse shot of the Guide as Guillermo continues offscreen: 'You're a great friend.' The Guide relaxes and smiles back with soft eyes, relieved and so, so, fond. 1c. Zoom out, shot from behind the Guide as Guillermo launches himself forward and punches straight through the locked door, shattering it easily without dropping his smile or looking away from the Guide. The Guide lets out an impressed 'Ooh!' and it is unclear if her eyes have remained above his neck this time.“ width=“100% ID: 2a. Shot of the broken doorway from inside as Guillermo steps in, back to the shattered scraps of door clinging to the hinges. The only visible word on the door is now 'shame'. Guillermo looks inside, smiling blankly, and stretches out an arm to politely bow the Guide inside. The Guide comes to the doorway at his side and places a hand gratefully on his shoulder. Smiling, she says, 'Thank you, Guillermo.' 2b. Repeat. The Guide's gaze slides over to look past the viewer at the room itself, eyes widening and smile dropping in surprise. Guillermo looks to her with a frown as she lifts her hand from his shoulder and curls up her fingers, breathing out, 'Oh...' 2c. Reverse shot of the room, which is small, rectangular, and the same glitchy gray plasticine as the rest of the hall. It is also nearly entirely empty. The shadow from the shattered door stretches across the floor and lays itself over the single deep red file box sitting in the middle of the room. 2d. Close up of the file box and the large white label on top, which reads, in blood-red font, '1758-1759, Willem Van Helsing.'“ width=“100%

ID: 1a. Waist up of Nandor sitting on the couch in the library, continuing the talking head from part 1. The camera is now shooting from the side, and behind him you can see the right half of the bay window; a side table with a lit lamp, abandoned book, candle, butterfly display, and a small brass horse statue; a bucket of loose scrolls, and a wide gold mirror. The camera crew are reflected: a brown man with floppy bags and a sparse mustache is in the front, aiming the camera with one eye in the viewfinder; behind him is a large older Samoan man with a white beard ducking in front of a light reflector and pulling up cords; behind him is a white woman with long blonde hair in a ponytail, presumably the director, wearing a headset and holding up an iPad that she is writing on; behind her is a bored-looking Latine sound technician with long messy brown hair holding up the boom mic. He shouts, 'Fuck that guy for making me feel confused!' 1c. Repeat. Nandor calms slightly and looks away again, flustered, hands curling into fists to press uncertainly against his chest. Nandor’s dialogue continues from the present: 'I loved many of my wives, but I did not want them around all the time. Or even most of the time. They were appealing primarily because they allowed me to do whatever I pleased and did not bother me unless I asked for them.' 2b. Zoom out to full body as the flashback continues. The group of wives, now including a young woman with a mole on her cheek and a young bearded man with three, are on the right, engaged with each other and mostly ignoring human Nandor and Jahan as they pass by. Human Nandor and Jahan are dressed respectively in the blue and silver armor and bejeweled tack they wear in their portrait together. Nandor has one hand on Jahan’s saddle and the other on his sword as they both trot excitedly across the frame, Nandor sporting a large open-mouthed smile and Jahan holding his tail high and ears pricked forward, uncaring of the wives left behind. The only wife to make a fuss is the younger woman with the mole, who has her skirts gathered up and is glaring at Nandor’s back as if readying herself to stomp after him. Marwa stops her with a hand on her arm, expression compassionate but sad. The older wives know better than to expect much attention from their husband. Present Nandor’s dialogue continues: 'The one I preferred to spend all of my time with was my dear horse, John.' 2c. Shoulders up of present Nandor in front of the flashback in 2b. Multiple faded shots of Nandor and Guillermo from the previous act, Guillermo practically sitting in his lap as they lean closer and closer. Present Nandor's dialogue continues: 'And the thought of him leaving me is like a stake through my chest - stakes that he is always sharpening, by the way! And it is not as sexy as he thinks it is! Love is supposed to feel good! It is supposed to be easy; it is not supposed to hurt like this! And I... I...' 2b. Bursting into focus and out of the sepia is one last memory of Guillermo from Nandor's POV, hair disheveled, eyes red and tired but pulled wide and shining as he stares at the viewer in shock and awe, whispering, 'You love me.' 3a. Close up of Nandor back in the present on a mottled brown background, a bloom of white forming a halo behind his head. His hands pause on a lock of hair he had been anxiously tugging at - the same lock he had gripped in the final part of act 2. He stares into the distance as his eyes widen and shine with wonder, cheeks flushing purple. He says aloud, 'I am...in love with Guillermo?' 3b. Repeat, smaller, as Nandor looks up and glares, flustered, at the crew offscreen, spluttering 'Why are you exchanging currency? I'm having a big revelation over here!'“ width=“100% ID: 1. Naked oily dream Guillermo stays behind her, arms crossed at attention behind his back, and cranes his neck out to one side to see. He asks, 'Is this the memory you were looking for?' Close up on the red file box that reads '1758-1759 Willem Van Helsing' as the Guide kneels on the floor in front of it and strokes the lid, her arm and knee the only visible parts of her onscreen. She reads aloud, '...Willem Van Helsing...' 2b. Reverse shot of the Guide looking down at the box with some confusion and a dazed kind of nostalgia. She murmurs to herself, 'I think I must have called him something else...' 2c. Extreme close up as Guide curls her fingers under the lid of the file box and lifts it.“ width=“100% ID: 3a. Shot of the Guide from the front as beams of multicolored lights burst out of the open box, blowing her hair back and casting strange shadows up and down her face. That man standing in a gold suit, holding a delicate glass of champagne in his large hands and glancing over toward the viewer to offer a smirk. Close up of the man laughing, naked, leaning his head on one hand as if laying in bed with someone. Close up of the man in profile, looking back with a secret smile as he turns away. Close up of the man, naked, flushed, sweating, hair bouncing in motion, as he grins at whomever is under him. Willem laughs in response and begins to mouth his way down the Guide's chest, the hand at her neck loosening but keeping up a firm squeeze with the thumb and forefinger. The Guide tips her head back even further, smiling open-mouthed with his blood tricking down her cheek. 4c. Shot from above as Willem, hand having abandoned its choking in favor of squeezing the Guide's right breast, suddenly bites into her left. The Guide's eyes fly open, shocked, staring past the viewer at the ceiling above. The background fills with a blood splatter pattern. 4d. Full body from the side as the Guide leans back from her seat straddling Willem's lap, right hand flying up to cup the area and inspect the large bloody bite mark that is now present. Willem sits back as well, hands cupping the Guide's hips as he snickers, blood smeared across his teeth and face. The Guide scolds, 'Wim!! Why-why would you do that?! You drank my blood! You will turn into a vampire now!' Willem replies, chuckling, 'No, I won't.'“ width=“100% ID: 5a. Close up in profile, the background turned dark red with DNA swirls. Willem leans close and pinches the Guide's chin with his thumb and forefinger to pull her in as well, her blood dripping down his chin and his own blood now smeared on his hand as well as her cheek. Repeat, blood spatters increasing in size and volume. The Guide ducks her head to hide her face in Guillermo's shoulder, full body shaking. She stutters out, 'I don't know.' The voice in the memory comes in again, glitched out and repeating itself in fragments, asking, 'How does he taste?' 4b. A brown wooden background shutters in to bring us back to the present with Guillermo doing his talking head. He is smiling sadly, looking down as he recalls what he just avoided sharing to the cameras. He simply says, '...She's a good friend.' 4c. Repeat, the full background of the mantel and bookshelf fading back in as Guillermo turns toward the camera and shrugs with a self-depreciating smile. He says, 'So...that's it. That's all I have for you guys, sorry. Still kinda figuring out the next steps.' 4d. Zoom out, view of the fireplace straight-on with Guillermo on one side and Greg the camera guy on the other. The top of the sound tech's head and part of the boom is visible in the foreground as they pack up.
