Chapter 1: Tomura Shigaraki!
Summary:
Tomura Shigaraki was born on April 4th.
Notes:
I know I'm posting this the day after Shigaraki's birthday but that's because it was too late for me to start, finish, and post this yesterday.
Chapter Text
Shigaraki sits at the bar of the League’s hideout, tracing the patterns of the wooden countertop with one finger. Ever since he woke up that morning, he can’t shake the feeling that he is forgetting something. But after hours of wracking his brain for some hint of what it could be, Shigaraki is as clueless as he was when his eyes blinked open for the first time that day.
Kurogiri suddenly appears to Shigaraki’s right, visibly startling the puzzled villain out of his thoughts. “Kurogiri,” Shigaraki rasps, “I thought I told you to announce when you would pop out of thin air.”
“My apologies, Tomura,” Kurogiri states, “but you are beckoned by your fellow League members.”
"Beckoned?” Shigaraki questions, swiveling on the faded red stool he sits on so he faces his babysitter of sorts.
"Yes, I can take you to them. It would save time.”
Shigaraki studies Kurogiri's vaporous head, looking for some sign that would indicate if this “beckoning” is a trap or not. The others like to pull the occasional prank. But Kurogiri wears no expression as usual and Shigaraki stands from his chair.
“This better not be a waste of my time,” Shigaraki mumbles under his breath. He steps into the warp gate that Kurogiri had summoned while Shigaraki was staring at him.
There is no fully accurate way to describe going through one of Kurogiri’s warp gates. Shigaraki explains it as a cold dark purple void, however, there is a vague sense of solidness to it, as if keeping whoever goes through it from being sucked into that void. Shigaraki can’t help but slightly shiver at the entrance to the purple portal but the sensation is quickly over once he arrives in a dark room.
Shigaraki is about to call out the trap when a light is turned on and the faces of the League of Villains are illuminated. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” they all shout, even Dabi joins in.
Toga runs up to Shigaraki, who is still standing where he was teleported to and hugs him tightly. Spinner and Twice closely follow, both holding multiple crudely wrapped gifts, with Magne trailing them holding a small chocolate cake with white frosting and silver sprinkles. Mr. Compress’s usual top hat is replaced with a small colorful cone hat and is currently off to the side of the room trying to get Dabi to wear a matching one. Twice, Spinner, Magne, and Toga are all wearing similar if not the same paper hats.
It dawns on Shigaraki that this is what he was forgetting about the whole day. It is his birthday! Dabi stops defending himself against Compress’s efforts when he notices Shigaraki’s shocked and realizing expression.
“Did you not remember your own birthday?” Dabi asks, tilting his head slightly to the side, allowing Mr. Compress to strap the hat to Dabi’s spiky black hair.
Toga pulls away from her one-sided embrace with Shigaraki and looks up at him. “That’s so sad!”
“Agreed, birthdays are important!” Twice shouts. “Villains don’t need to remember such trivial things!” Twice counters himself.
Shigaraki can’t help but agree with Twice’s inconsistency but he finds himself being pulled forward by Toga to a small table to the left side of the room. Shigaraki notices that the room they are in is a small storage space that the League doesn’t use all that often in their hideout. A pile against the opposite wall is the only remnant of the boxes and random items that once cluttered most of the room.
They must have cleaned it out, Shigaraki thinks.
Toga leads Shigaraki to a chair next to the table and motions with her free hand for Shigaraki to sit there, which he does. Mr. Compress walks over from Dabi to Shigaraki and turns one of his marbles into a birthday hat. He fastens it onto Shigaraki’s head despite the pale-haired villain’s complaints. The League, other than Shigaraki and Compress, set a few presents on the far side of the table, the cake right in front of the birthday villain, and a knife, a few disposable plates, and utensils next to it.
“Are you alright, Shigaraki?” Mr. Compress looks at Shigaraki with a worried gaze.
Shigaraki meets the magician’s eyes and gives him a small smile, making everyone slow down to see the rare occurrence happening before them. “Yeah. Just surprised you all did this… for me,” Shigaraki bluntly explains.
“Of course we did!” Twice and Toga yell at the same time, no contradiction from Twice.
“We care for you,” Kurogiri says from where he warped Shigaraki into the room.
“You’re our friend as well as our boss,” Spinner grins back at Shigaraki.
Shigaraki turns back to the arrangement of birthday materials before him and doesn’t bother to remove the tiny upwards curl his lips have. “Does someone want to cut the cake?” he asks the others.
“Wait! You have to blow out the candles!” Magne exclaims and pulls out three candles from her pocket. She steps over to the table and sticks the simple candles into the top of the cake. They are all different colors: one is blue, another is yellow with white swirls, and the third is red.
As Magne scoots away, Dabi comes over and sets only his pointer finger ablaze with his quirk and lights the candles until Shigaraki has a pretty decent-looking birthday cake with blue flamed candles sitting in front of him. He hasn’t had a birthday party or, really, a birthday with people he considered himself close to in years. Shigaraki is sure the others haven't either.
“Now make a wish and blow them out!” Toga squeals excitedly, jumping up and down with her arms crossed in front of her chest and hands squeezing her cheeks.
Shigaraki inhales deeply and after a second of debating what to wish for, blows at the candles. The blue flames wave wildly, as if they are dancing, until extinguished by the onslaught of air.
“What did you wish for? Don’t tell!” Twice shakes his hands up and down as an impatient child would.
“Don’t say, Shigaraki, or it won’t come true,” Mr. Compress warns as Magne once again steps to the table. She removes the melting candles and places them on a napkin she must have had in her pocket. Magne takes the knife and cuts the cake into even slices.
“I won’t,” Shigaraki reassures Compress. Plus, if Shigaraki told them that he wished that they could defeat the heroes without losing each other in the process, they might have lost confidence in him being a strong leader.
Magne hands Shigaraki the first plated slice of cake and Spinner has to hold Twice back from grabbing it out of the birthday villain’s hands. Soon everyone in the League, including Kurogiri who finally came over to join the festivities, has a slice of chocolate cake with vanilla icing and sprinkles. Twice eats his cake fast while everyone else takes it slower. Shigaraki takes a bit more time than the others since he has to handle his fork with only three fingers and his thumb. But years of practice and improvement help him both not disintegrate the utensil and eat quicker than he would have in the past.
“That was good cake! It was fattening,” Twice compliments and observes.
“Now for the gifts!” Toga leaps up from her place on the floor and bolts over to the presents that Twice and Spinner had set on the table. “Open mine first!” She grabs an object covered in newspaper comics and hurriedly places it into Shigaraki’s lap.
One by one, Shigaraki’s colleagues give Shigaraki their presents. He’s always gentle when he opens them, one finger constantly lifted in the air. Toga gifts Shigaraki a pair of mismatched cat socks, Spinner an empty picture frame for whatever Shigaraki wants to put in it, Dabi an old lighter, Twice a sleeping mask with eyelashes styled on it, Mr. Compress a new set of darts for the hideout’s dartboard, Magne a mini notepad and pen, and Kurogiri a black trenchcoat.
“Thank you,” Shigaraki rasps to his fellow League members.
“Just remember your birthday next time. And ours!” Twice advises Shigaraki. Mr. Compress nods and Dabi scoffs with a smile.
Unbeknownst to his friends, Shigaraki knew he would never forget their birthdays. And Shigaraki would never forget the best birthday he has had in years.
Chapter 2: Katsuki Bakugo!
Summary:
Katsuki Bakugo was born on April 20th!
Notes:
Sorry for posting this really late. I have been VERY behind with my fanfics and am trying to catch up. I should have another chapter coming somewhat soon. Sorry for the extreme delays!
Chapter Text
Something was up. Both Kaminari and Kirishima had texted Bakugo to come down to the common area. The only reason Bakugo iss listening is that he wants to yell at them for disturbing his peace. The elevator seemed to be taking forever but it was only half a minute after entering the metal box that the doors slid open and Bakugo loudly stomps out.
Those two better know what’s coming for them, Bakugo growls in his head.
As the hunched hero-in-training enters the common area he is shocked out of his violent thoughts by all of Class 1-A yelling, “Happy Birthday, Bakugo!”
“Huh?” is all Bakugo says.
“It’s your birthday, Kacchan! Did you forget?” Deku cheerfully asks with a wide smile.
“Shut up, Deku!” shouts Kacchan. “Of course I didn’t forget!”
“You just didn’t know we knew, right?” Uraraka assumes. Bakugo glares at her, but she was right. Bakugo never told anyone when his birthday was. The only one in the room that knew was… Deku.
In a split second, Bakugo’s anger redirects from Kirishima and Kaminari to his old “friend”. But before he can even move towards Deku, Mina steps forward. “Let’s not get into any fights. It’s a special day and we planned so much!”
Bakugo finally takes in all the decorations around him. There are yellow balloons with “Happy Birthday” written on them taped to the walls and chairs, red and orange streamers hanging from the ceiling, a pile of presents by the couches which have been bedazzled with even more balloons and streamers, and an assortment of food on the table that has a dark grey plastic tablecloth with red “Happy Birthday” bubble letters covering its surface.
“You guys went all out, huh,” observes Bakugo.
“Yeah! Sensei Azaiwa said we just have to clean it all up afterwards,” cheers Kaminari.
Bakugo crosses his arms over his chest, not sure how to proceed. He hasn’t had any big birthday parties since he was younger.
“What do you guys have planned?” Bakugo quietly wonders.
Mina smiles widely and gestures to the decorated couch. “Sit down and let the festivities begin!”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bakugo has to admit, he is having fun at the party. Sure he didn’t forget that Deku blabbed about his birthday or that Kirishima and Kaminari interrupted his peace and quiet. But the food, gifts, and games slightly make up for it.
Right now, Bakugo is opening his last gift. It’s from Tsuyu. He rips the green wrapping paper off to reveal a pair of deep navy blue slippers with black trim and bottoms. The insides of the slippers are fluffy and Bakugo almost puts them on at that moment. Instead, however, he tosses them onto the pile of other presents.
Bakugo never told anyone what he wanted, yet, everything his classmates got him seem spot on. Deku got Bakugo an All Might figurine, Iida a black thermal jacket, Sero a wallet chain, Kaminari and Kirishima teamed up and got a dart board and darts, Aoyama a book of French cooking recipes, Sato a book of spicy cooking recipes, Jirou and Mina got Bakugo a portable CD player (which Bakugo doesn’t think he’ll take anywhere other than his dorm room) and an accompanying CD of varying rock and heavy metal songs, Kouda a black tanktop, Shouji a pair of black headphones, Ojiro a Best Jeanist branded comb (this one Bakugo wasn’t very pleased about), Todoroki a mug, Tokoyami a dark grey blanket, Hagakure a pack of playing cards with different heroes on them, Uraraka a photo album of the class (Bakugo got silently choked up on this gift), Yaoyorozu a very generous gift card, and Mineta… no comment.
“Thanks,” Bakugo grumbles.
“You’re welcome,” everyone cheers.
“What’s your favorite gift? Is it mine?” Mineta asks.
“What kind of question is that?!” Kaminari exclaims as Sato wacks Mineta on the head.
Bakugo ignores the electric type and takes in the assortment of half-eaten food on plates, disposable cups with names on them so they don’t get mixed up, and the balloons and streamers that slightly sway or bob in the light breeze blowing in through the open windows.
“How about we move onto the next thing?!” Mina interrupts the continuing unnecessary argument.
Next step? wonders Bakugo. What’s next after prese…?
Bakugo’s internal question is answered when the lights in the common area dim and Shouji and Ojiro step out from the kitchen with a MASSIVE cake that has numerous candles on top. Quickly, Todoroki lights a flame on his finger and sets each candle ablaze.
“Happy birthday to you,” everyone starts singing. Bakugo can pick out Jirou’s actually good voice, Todoroki and Tokoyami’s slightly monotone ones, and Deku’s annoying one. But, surprisingly, Bakugo enjoys it. This really has been a great birthday. Not that he’s going to admit that to any of his classmates.
The cake is set down on the table in front of Bakugo and once everyone stops singing, Bakugo blows out the candles in one big exhale. His classmates clap.
“What did you wish for?” Kirishima inquires as he cuts and sets slices of cake onto plates.
“Can’t tell,” Bakugo says and grabs the plate with the biggest slice. The cake looks like it’s chocolate with orange frosting and red sprinkles. Bakugo begins to notice the theme to this party. The chocolate is rich and the frosting compliments it nicely. Bakugo accurately guesses that Sato baked it.
“Aw, come on! You’re not even going to tell me?” Kirishima pleads.
But Bakugo doesn’t relent and vigorously shakes his head no since his mouth is full.
His classmates assume that Bakugo wished to become the number one hero, like he preaches everyday. However, Bakugo actually wished for a birthday like this next year: surrounded by friends (plus Deku and Mineta) in a place where he hopes to achieve his dreams. Pretty cheesy even for him Bakugo admits to himself. He eats another bite and enjoys the rest of his birthday party.
Chapter 3: All Might!
Summary:
All Might's birthday is June tenth.
Notes:
I skipped Twice's birthday because I started it but did not finish. I'm not sure if I will since his birthday was a month ago but maybe I will. Don't know. Sorry I'm so behind on this series. Enjoy!

Chapter Text
"I am here! In this dark room that I was told to come to by Aizawa," All Might's voice booms throughout the indeed very dark room that All Might was texted to come to by his fellow UA teacher Eraserhead about half an hour ago.
While All might wanted to quickly rush over here, be didn't want to waste time and energy by putto.g on his muscle form. Plus, the address Aizawa gave All Might is in the middle of a pedestrian area. Too much attention would be raised if All Might suddenly appeared, not to mention there would be a lot of maneuvering among the crowds of people. So All Might stayed in his weakened form and took the bus, only putting on his famed muscles when he was down the hall from the room he was instructed to go to. And now he is here.
A tick of silence goes by and then lights flash on. All Might's eyes quickly adjust to the sudden illumination and he sees Class 1-A as they cheer, "Happy birthday All Might sensei!"
"For me?!" All Might dramatically gasps. He takes in the decorations themed around his hero shit: blue streamers, red balloons, yellow confetti, a mix of all of them everywhere in the room that All Might realizes is just a normal room, nothing unexpected other than the surprise party courtesy of his students.
"Indeed, All Might," says a monotone voice to All Might's right. The muscular hero startles at the voice and turns to see who spoke, although he already knows the owner.
"Ah, Eraserhead, you were in on it, eh?" All Might jokes, trying to divert attention from how Aizawa spooked him.
"All Might!" exclaims a cherry voice. All Might turns away from his fellow tea her and finds bright-eyed Midoriya running towards him. "Come over!" he says when he reaches All Might.
"Will do!" All Might smiles at the kid and Midoriya practically bad a fanboy moment. All Might chuckles and steps forward and soon is walking outside his other students. Uraraka floats a party hat onto All Might's head, careful of his trademark hair. Aoyama runs around with one of those things one blows into and they make noise as they expand. Satou wanders around before placing a huge half chocolate, half vanilla Bundt cake on a table full of snacks, fruits, and other foods. Tokoyami and Dark Shadow attempt to fix the pile of presents that must have toppled over. Mina and Asui go over to help, with more gifts in their hands, too. Todoroki finishes tying more balloons to some chairs and Shoji fixes a couple of streamers that fell from the ceiling. Midoriya leads All Might to a table and chair with a significantly higher amount of decorations on it through the somewhat chaotic group of students.
Eventually All Might takes a seat and everyone seems to settle down and surround the hero.
"Thank you everyone!" All Might sincerely tells his class, barely managing to hold back tears.
Hos students smiles and once again say, "Happy birthday!" before they begin the festivities.
Notes:
I know this isn't the same as the last chapters where I describe the activities and presents somewhat but I like it this way. Tell me what y'all think.
Chapter 4: Denki Kaminari and Hitoshi Shinso!
Summary:
Denki Kaminari's birthday is June 29th. Hitoshi Shinso's birthday is July 1st.

Chapter Text
Kaminari thinks it's fate that his birthday is only a matter of days apart from his boyfriend's
Shinso just thinks it's a coincidence, one that, Kaminari notes, he isn't complaining about. Although Shinso did initially complain about a joint birthday party since that meant an even higher and more unnecessary amount of people attending the celebration.
But now Shinso is smiling and it lights up Kaminari's heart like his own quirk would. The party is a success and Kaminari doesn't like to brag but he will: the purple and yellow theme was his idea, as well as the disco ball in those same two colors. The rest of the planning was left to Classes 1A and 1B, most of whom are currently attending the party. Kaminari can pinpoint Kirishima's spiky gelled red hair across the room talking to some of Kaminari's family members and can identify Bakugo's shouting from the small gathering of Class 1B students Kaminari doesn't know the names of.
Kaminari takes a sip of his grape juice while Shinso, who stands next to him, hds his cup of lemonade. Kaminari's classmates might have gone a bit overboard with the theme.
"I'm beginning to wonder if I'll still like purple after the party," Shinso says, a little loudly so Kaminari can hear him above the music coming out of the speakers they stand next to along the wall, away from the somewhat chaotic crowd of partyers.
"How about yellow?" Kaminari asks with a wide smile.
"I'll always like yellow," Shinso smirks and sips his lemonade. They tighten their grip on each other's hands.
"Should we rejoin the fray?" Shinso asks, looking reluctant as his eyes scan the loud guests.
"Not if you aren't comfortable with is," Kaminari leans into Shinso's arm and shoulder. Shinso is mostly okay with social situations but, like everyone, he gets overwhelmed. Which is why the two main figures of the party are leaning against the wall instead of conversing and hanging out with everyone else.
"I'll be fine."
"Then c'mon. My social battery is fully charged," Kaminari pulls Shinso away from the wall by their connected hands.
Shinso smiles and follows Kaminari as he maneuvers through people, saying hi and giving the occasional one armed hug so Kaminari and Shinso never let go of each other's hand, until they reach their friends who are all dressed up for Kaminari and Shinso's birthdays.
- A Couple of Hours Later -
Kaminari groans at the room that is now empty of people but full of littered torn wrapping paper, discarded cups, flecks of confetti, crumpled napkins, leftover cake crumbs, and deflated balloons, all purple, yellow, or a swirl of both.
"Why doesn't anyone ever stick around to help clean up their mess? I mean, we are the birthday boys after all," Kaminari complains.
"Birthday boys sounds wrong, so please don't call us that," Shinso says from beside Kaminari, their fingers are still intertwined. "We can clean this up tomorrow. We are on break after all."
"Break shouldn't be spent cleaning," Kaminari grumbles.
Shinso smiles. "Come on, I'm tired. Let's go to bed."
"Okay," Kaminari dramatically says as if he doesn't want to. Shinso might have believed his boyfriend if he wasn't actively yawning.
"You look like Pikachu when you yawn," Shinso observes.
Kaminari gives Shinso an anger less sideye. "It's very cute," Shinso elaborates, making Kaminari look pleased.
Together, still hand in hand, the two leave the messy room that previously hosted a ridiculously themed joint birthday party and head upstairs. Where they promptly go to Shinso's room, lay on the bed, and pass out.
Though, not before Shinso says, "You look like Pikachu when you sleep, too," and gets pulled into a sleepy embrace.
Notes:
Just wanted to say happy late birthday Stain (June 14th). I didn't do a chapter for you because you have no one to party with and probably would just treat yourself to killing more heroes.
Chapter 5: Present Mic!
Summary:
Present Mic's birthday is on July 7th.

Chapter Text
"So what do you want to do for your birthday, Hizashi?" Shota asks.
"Fight crime!" I shout and pump my fists in the air. Shota gives me a blank stare but Oboro vigorously nods in agreement.
"See, Oboro agrees!"
"We'll get in trouble," Shots argues.
"No one needs to know," Oboro smirks. I high five him while Shota just sighs. He knows he won't win against me and Oboro. I smile at that.
"There will be plenty of crime if we go to the market," I tell my two friends and continue walking down the street.
To my right is the beach with water that sparkles in the afternoon sun. To my left is the city, it's concrete pillars rising above the horizon. I like walking along this path, it's pretty, calm, and has perfect acoustics. Oboro and Shota walk alongside me. We mostly chat about school or what song I'll sing for my family, an annual birthday tradition I have. Sometimes I tease Shota and we all double over at each others' hero names. Soon we turn away from the shore and into the city where we later arrive at the busy street market. Nothing seems to be out of place, but Shota looks tense as we start walking through the crowd.
"Relax, maaaan," I tell Shota. He looks at me but his shoulders lower a little bit.
"Do either of you have money?" Oboro suddenly asks. Shota and I both raise an eyebrow at our friend and Oboro chuckles awkwardly. "I'm hungry."
Shota sighs while I laugh. "Are you seriously broke!?"
Oboro nods. "My cool clothes don't just appear and a lot of effort goes towards my magnificent hair."
This makes me laugh harder. "You spent all your money... on clothes and hair products?" Shota questions.
"Yeah. What do you do with your money?" Oboro rebuttals.
"Save it," Shota answers bluntly.
"Of course you do," Oboro mumbles under his breathe.
I finally manage to stop laughing and I drag Oboro and Shota over to a vendor that's selling sweets.
"This won make Oboro less hungry," Shota points out.
"But it will taste good!" I grin and Shota shakes his head but I see a small smirk on his face.
"What would you kids li--?" The vendor's question is cut off by a loud crashing from behind us.
Shota, Oboro, and I all turn around to see what the commotion is. We hear the vendor behind us gasp and the sight of a large muscular villain robbing and tipping over several stalls. The villain wears a typical bandit's mask, as well as a tight black tank top, black sweatpants, and black combat boots.
"Perfect!" I exclaim and reach for my bag. Oboro follows my lead. Shota hesitates for a second then does the same with a shake of his head and several statements that are too quiet and mumbled understand.
Together, we pull out our hero masks and put them on: goggles and a blue aviator hat for Oboro, a binding cloth and yellow goggles for Shota, and a speaker around my neck, orange sunglasses and headphones for me. I think we look cool (me being the coolest), even if we are still in our UA school uniforms.
"You guys ready?!" I call to Shota and Oboro who are now disguised as Eraserhead and Loud Cloud.
"Yep!" Oboro/Loud Cloud says with a double thumbs up.
"Sure," Shota/Eraserhead monotones.
"Then let's go! Plus Ultra!" I shout and pump my fists into the air.
The three of us rush forward towards the villain like the heroes we are training to be.
Chapter 6: Mirio Togata!
Summary:
Mirio Togata's birthday is on July 15th.
Notes:
Look at me, posting several chapters in one day! Is this me finally ending my procrastination? No! I'm still procrastinating, just slightly less!
Enjoy!
Chapter Text
Mirio didn’t want to do anything big for his birthday, school was enough for him. Everyone in his classes, teachers included, wished him a happy birthday several times. And when he walked past the energetic first years, they excitedly did the same. Even at Sir Nighteye’s agency, Mirio was told happy birthday by seemingly every worker and sidekick. Sir Nighteye said it himself, too, which Mirio didn’t mind too much.
Usually, Mirio is all about being social and cheerfully talks to people. But the amount of attention today tired Mirio out more than he expected. So he wants to do nothing more than relax and sink into his bed. Not literally of course.
A knock at his dorm’s door interrupts Mirio from doing absolutely nothing other than laying sprawled out on his bed. Mirio reluctantly leaves the comfort and goes over to the door. When he opens it, Mirio’s face illuminates with a bright smile.
“Hey, Tamaki!” Mirio greets excitedly.
“Hi, Mirio,” Tamaki replies. “I was wondering if you wanted to play video games.”
“Sure! Come in!” Mirio moves so Tamaki has room to enter.
“We can go to my dorm if you want,” Tamaki says quietly as he walks into Mirio’s dorm room.
“Nah, we’re here already,” Mirio closes the door and gestures for Tamaki to sit on a beanbag chair. Tamaki picks the purple one as usual while Mirio plops down on the blue one.
“What do you want to play?” Tamaki questions, even though he likely knows Mirio’s answer. Tamaki’s hands are stuffed into his black sweatpants’ pockets and his shoulders are slumped, causing his black t-shirt with yellow stitching to crinkle.
“You know,” Mirio grins and Tamaki sighs but reaches for the pile of games under the small table that holds Mirio’s TV and game system. Mirio turns on the mentioned system.
Once he has it, Tamaki inserts the disc for the fighting game that Mirio chooses to play every time Tamaki asks. It’s his favorite game and he’s also really good at it.
As they quickly progress through battles, Tamaki winning much fewer games than Mirio, Mirio becomes grateful for his friend’s silence and unsuspecting social awareness. Tamaki might be social awkward, but he surprisingly understands when Mirio has overload his socialness for the day and doesn’t push Mirio for conversation. Not that he does that as much as Mirio typically does.
So the two of them sit in a comfortable silence except for the occasional celebration of victory and following congratulation and play video games late into the night. Mirio is finally enjoying his birthday, at least more than he was earlier that day.
Chapter 7: Hanta Sero, Mina Ashido, & Kyouka Jirou
Summary:
Hanta Sero: July 28th
Mina Ashido: July 30th
Kyouka Jirou: August 1st
Notes:
I am so behind!!! This is a short chapter but it's good and helps me catch up.
Happy birthday Endeavor (August 8th), I'm not writing a chapter because no one would go unless to spite you.
Happy birthday Fat Gum and Spinner (both August 8th), I'm just too lazy to write a chapter for you two.
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
The Class 1-A dorm building is decorated in a rainbow if colors for the three students being celebrated. Streamers hang from arches, balloons are tied to beams, and the interior is filled with even more. Tables of food, drinks, and presents like the common room with festive tablecloths covering the cool metal. Couches and chairs have more balloons stuck to them, as well as people happily chatting away while crumbs from their plates fall to the cushions. Students from both Class 1-A and 1-B mill about in casual formal attire. Teachers stand uncomfortably at the edges of the large room, obviously out of place with the cheerful guests. Six parents (two for each of the celebrated) smile and talk with the students and some of the teachers, even if they don't reply.
Sero grins widely as he jokes around with Kirishima, Kaminari, and Bakugo. They have strategically positioned themselves near the tables full of desserts and snacks. Even if everyone would have let the dark-haired birthday student cut the line if he so much as asked.
Mina giggles with Uraraka, Tsuyu, Yaoyorozu, and Hagakure in thr back of the common room, away from the chaos of the others. No that the bright birthday girl is out of her element among the crowd, it's more for her friends than herself.
Jirou talks to the party's DJ and soon a rock song replaces the previous pop one. The purple and black themed birthday star dances with her parents, having used her special privileges to her advantage.
The crow cheers and joins into the dance, groups from the back and snack area surging forward to the center of the room to join in with their fellow birthday classmate.
Notes:
I'm not sure how often I'll update this work. I might discontinue it but for now I'm just going to procrastinate and post chapters a month late. :)
Chapter 8: Tenya Ida!
Summary:
Tenya Ida was born on August 22nd.
Notes:
I'm so behind but here's an update that should get me somewhat more back on track. Enjoy :)
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
Ida doesn’t have anything planned for his birthday other than taking the weekend away from U.A. to visit his family. His brother has been recovering and recently was cleared to walk by the doctors, although he’ll have to use crutches. Ida is excited to see them all, especially Tensei.
As Ida steps off the train, he takes a deep breath. The air here seems fresher than near U.A., and Ida is grateful for the change of scenery, too. It’s nice to have a change once in a while, although Ida typically hates change and only likes this one because it means he’s only minutes away from seeing his family. Ida exhales and hails a taxi that will take him to his family’s house. Uncontrollably, Ida’s leg bounces up and down. Why is he so nervous? Does it have to do with the fact that Ida hasn’t seen his loved ones in a while? Possibly. Is it due to the likelihood of his parents and brother asking how being Ingenium is? Maybe. But Ida thinks it really has to do with them getting angry over his hand and how he so wanted to get revenge for Tensei.
Ida shakes his head, earning a concerned and confused glance from the driver, but Ida doesn’t care. His family would never pressure him or get as mad at him as Ida imagines. His family has always been supportive and Ida has always been the one to pressure himself. Everything will be fine and Ida will have a great birthday. Ida gives the driver a reassuring smile and relaxes in the seat, although never abandoning his perfect posture.
=====
The ride to Ida’s house didn’t take too long and the teen enjoyed watching the world pass by though the slightly smudged windows. Now he stands outside his family’s house. With a deep breathe, Ida grabs and turns the handle, pushing the door into his home. The inside is dark, which confuses Ida but he ignores it to turn back around and close the door.
When Ida turns back around, the lights flash on and several voices cheer, “Happy birthday!”
Ida’s mom, dad, and brother all stand in the family’s living room with a big banner with Happy Birthday written on it hanging above them. They all wear party hats and hold confetti poppers which they quickly set off.
Tears threaten to spill ou, but Ida holds them back.
“Welcome home, Tenya,” Ida’s mother rushes up to him and wraps Ida in a warm embrace.
“Happy birthday, son,” Ida’s father comes over and holds out a hand that Ida shakes once his mom stops hugging him
“Tensei!” Ida exclaims when he sees his older brother slowly walking over to him with the additional aid of crutches. But walking nonetheless!
“Tenya, glad you finally decided to come by,” Tensei gives Ida an awkward nuggie and Ida smiles.
“Me, too,” Ida says with a wide grin. No one mentions the tears that dribble down from underneath Ida’s glasses. No one needs to, they all know that the droplets are of happiness.

Honorable mentions:
Happy Birthday to Momo Yaoyorozu (September 23rd)!
Happy Birthday to Mineta Minoru (October 8th)!

Chapter Text
To be honest, Aizawa didn’t really remember that today is his birthday until Mic loudly proclaimed today was such a day when Aizawa walked through the door of the teacher’s lounge at U.A. From there, every teacher wished him a happy birthday, a couple gave him small gifts, and Principal Nezu called Aizawa down to his office and presented him with a gift certificate for free coffee at a local cafe in town. Aizawa thanked Nezu for the certificate, but he doubts he’ll ever use it, that’s what the coffee maker in his kitchen is for, after all.
Anyway, while Aizawa isn’t the best at dealing with other people, even his colleagues, he managed them quite well. The problem was when his students found out. Which is how he got here: literally stuck in the middle of a class party that Mic apparently helped rig alongside All Might. Class 1-A decorated the classroom with an abundance of party supplies that Yaoyorozu likely helped summon out of thin air, and it seems like Sato did some baking by the large amount of pastries and the cake on what would typically be Aizawa’s desk. Even Shinso and Eri are here, which doesn’t warm Aizawa’s heart anymore than it already is. Which it isn’t.
Currently, Aizawa is, unfortunately, trapped in the confines of his new sleeping bag, gifted to him by his class. It still is yellow, but the color is rejuvenated, and the fabric is no longer worn or frayed from constant and much needed use. All around him, cheerful students run and party without a care. They deserve to have fun, even if they are teenagers, Aizawa’s students are still to young to have gone through what this school year has brought them. Villains can be a real pain, but luckily, they’re strong kids.
Despite the intense urge to close his eyes and drift off, Aizawa stays awake and watches the smiles spread. Eri’s giggles rise above the laughs, and even Bakugo’s angered shouts are filled with enjoyment. Aizawa smiles to himself, a small smirk more than an actual grin, but a smile nonetheless.
“Are you smiling, Shota?” and of course Mic had to see.
Aizawa sighs. “Maybe, Mic. Why?”
“Well,” Mic holds up his hands, “it’s not something seen very often,” Mic smiles, showing off all of his teeth. “It’s nice, you should do it more,” he finger guns Aizawa.
Aizawa shakes his head, rustling his already messy black hair against the confines of the sleeping bag, but his smirk grows a tad bigger. “Go have fun, Mic,” he tells his friend.
Mic winks at Aizawa then joins the students and quickly creates a riot about what music they should start playing. Aizawa leans back against the wall behind him and settles in for what seems like actual fun… or rather, entertainment.
Notes:
I know this was pretty short, but I think it's nice like this. I really enjoyed writing this. Aizawa's character comes really easy to me somehow, same with Present Mic.
Chapter 10: Izuku Midoriya!
Summary:
Izuku Midoriya's was born on July 15th!
Notes:
This is a short one but I've been procrastinating a lot on this one, so it's fine. Enjoy!
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
"Happy birthday, Izuku!" Inki cheers, throwing confetti into the air.
Midoriya smiles at his mom. She loves celebrating his birthday. "Thanks, Mom."
"Of course, sweetie. Let me go get the cake!" Inko says eagerly before she hurries to the kitchen.
Midoriya sits at his house's small dining table with a paper birthday hat on his head. Banners hang from the ceiling, balloons are tied to chairs, and confetti covers most surfaces. Even though Midoriya doesn't invite people over for a party or big celebration, his mom decorated the house more than she has to. Now that Midoriya is in U.A., Inko went out like never before. But Midoriya's not complaining. He enjoys seeing his mom so happy.
Inko quickly returns with a small circular vanilla cake with frosting the colors of All Might's hero costume and topped with bold gold candle numbers that look like the famous hero's trademark hair and that read out Midoriya's new year. The candles are lit with light flickering flames.
"Make a wish!" Inko cheers excitedly
Midoriya sucks in a big breath and exhales, blowing out all of the flame-topped candles.
I wish....
Notes:
The POV for this is kind of weird, sorry about that.
Inko, for anyone who doesn't know, is Midoriya's mom.
Chapter 11: UPDATE
Summary:
This is not an actual chapter, just some information about this fic.
Chapter Text
Hello everyone reading this and Happy New Year! Author here with some info concerning this fic for the year of 2024.
Since it is a new year, I thought it would be too stressful and useless for me to try and write chapters for all of the characters I missed last year (2023). So, my plan is to save the ones I did not do last year for this year and write some other/new character, too. This still does not mean that I will write chapters for every MHA character, but more so for the main and more important or popular characters. Or characters that I deem deserving of a chapter and that I want to write about. :)
I still don't have an upload schedule, so the chapters might come out after the characters' birthdays, but I will try this year to not make them a month late.
Lastly, after I hit December of this year (2024), I will make this fic completed as it doesn't make sense to go on for a third year when I have written most of the characters already. Plus, this fic doesn't hit my list of most important fanfics that I am writing, and several times I have thought and decided against discontinuing it. So, with this end goal in mind, I hope to actually finish this without quitting.
Thank you everyone for reading this fic, it is not one of my most popular, and I am so grateful for the people that have read it so far, especially as of this update.
Please leave comments, including if you have questions about things I just talked about and if you have a character you want me to write. No promises I will write the character, depending on who it is, but I will reply to comments. Also, please leave kudos, they help me with my motivation (which I'm currently struggling a bit with). It's always nice when I get updates about who likes my works. I don't have any of My Hero Academia fics, but please check out my other works, which are mostly DSMP, but I have a couple others.
*Sorry about the advertising* :)
And with that, one last THANK YOU, and Happy New Year! Love you all and hope you are all doing well!
Chapter 12: Shoto Todoroki!
Summary:
Shoto Todoroki's birthday is on January 11th!
Notes:
I'm only a few days behind! That's an improvement! :) Lol, look at me cheering about not procrastinating for a month like a loser.
Anyway, enjoy!
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
Shoto has never really celebrated his birthday before. He might have when he was a little kid, but his life quickly became nonstop training under the guidance of his father Endeavor. His siblings would wish him a happy birthday and occasionally his mother would bake him a small dessert, but that obviously couldn't happen after she went away, and Shoto rarely saw Fuyumi and Natsuo as he got older. Toya wasn't even a possibility.
When Shoto got into U.A., making friends and getting close to his classmates was not something he thought he would end up doing, let alone achieve. He was so blind sighted by wanting to prove his father wrong with his "teenage rebellion" that Shoto didn't see the family right in front of him until they taught him to look past what Shoto was bred to do. It's nice, having people that care about you.
And now, thinking through how much Class 1A a U.A. high school have done for Shoto, one would assume he could have seen the birthday party coming. But no, Shoto did not, because he didn't even know that his classmates even knew when his birthday was. The cheering voices, joyous faces, and bright birthday themed decorations are all a surprise on top of multiple other surprises.
"Happy birthday, Todoroki!" Mina yells out in excitement as she straps a birthday coned hat onto Shoto's split colored head.
"Happy birthday, man," Sero side hugs Shoto as his other friends come up around him and energetically wish him a happy birthday.
Bakugo, Shoto notices, stays in the back of the crowd of students unlike others like Midoriya who bound to the front.
"Shoto!" a voice that is both simultaneously familiar and unfamiliar shouts out.
Shoto cranes his neck around over his friends, his slight height advantage helping a little. The crowd of students disperse as two figures who definitely do not go to the school walk towards Shoto.
"Natsuo! Fuyumi! What are you doing here?" Shoto asks incredulously as he stares at his brother and sister in shock. Are there usually this many surprises on birthdays?
"We wanted to wish you a happy birthday!" Fuyumi explains with a wide grin.
"Yeah! And since we don't see you that often, we thought we'd come visit you," Natsuo gestures to the visitor sticker stuck to his shirt.
"That's... really nice of you," Shoto says, processing everything that has happened since Mineta suspiciously led him to the meeting room that had been repurposed to fit the surprise birthday party.
"Of course it is!" Natsuo laughs. "We're the best siblings!"
Fuyumi chuckles. "Well, get going, Shoto. Join the party!"
Shoto nods with a small smile and steps to join the chaos of his peers but stops. He turns back to his siblings, "Did you guys tell them it was my birthday?" Shoto asks.
Both Fuyumi and Natsuo shake their heads no.
"That would have been me," a voice states from behind Shoto.
Shoto turns back around to find All Might standing there in all of his glory. "I didn't know if you had shared that or not, and I was absolutely certain that your classmates would have wanted to throw a party, so I told them anyway. Sorry if I overstepped, but I think it was the right decision," All Might explains somewhat proudly.
Shoto looks around the room, with its streamers and balloons, tables with plates ready to be filled with cake and snacks, and his smiling happy friends who are enjoying themselves in what they had done for Shoto. Something that no one else ever had.
With a nod, Shoto replies to his teacher: "Yeah, I think so, too."
Notes:
Short but sweet. I need to catch up on Todoroki's character because everyone makes him seem so awkward when the guy is just traumatized, missing a childhood, and has both daddy and mommy issues.
Chapter 13: Dabi!
Summary:
Dabi was born on January 18th!
Notes:
What?! I posted a chapter only a day after?! What sort of dark magic is this?! :)
Short chapter, but it'll suffice. If I didn't write this, I would have written nothing for Dabi at all (probably).
Enjoy!
Chapter Text
It has been years since Dabi thought about his birthday. It just blends in with every other day of the week, as if his existence is a simple bump that the universe smoothed over after a few years of jostling people around. Dabi doesn’t think about his birthday because he has no one to spend it with, no one who loves him, no one who knows him, no one who cares that he didn’t burn in hell when its fiery depths are all Dabi knows. He hasn’t had anyone like that since he was little, and that is a time Dabi wants to think about less than his birthday.
So Dabi doesn’t. He has more important things to do. Like making the heroes suffer and bringing the League of Villains to power even though everyone in it is weird.
That is, until Twice comes up to Dabi one day in the bar, the smile very evident even from underneath his dual-colored mask.
“Happy birthday, Dabi!” Twice cheers. “A very important day for a very important guy,” he says in a more serious voice.
“What are you talking about?” Dabi asks without a care.
“It’s your birthday! We have to celebrate!” Twice holds up his hands. “If that’s within your boundaries of course.”
Dabi rolls his eyes. “How did you even know it’s my birthday?”
“Your file,” Twice says simply. “It says everything.”
Dabi hums. Of course the League has a file on him, there’s probably one on each of them. How else would they get this far into a terrorist group of supervillains that aim to destroy the “saving” structure of this country?
“So,” Twice says, drawing out the o. “What do you want to do?” Twice rocks back and forth excitedly on his heels.
Dabi doesn’t say anything for a few moments, simply trying to decide what he’s going to do. Does he want to do something for a day that was treated and seemed meaningless to him for the past however many years?
Truth be told, Dabi does want to cause some especially entertaining chaos.
So Dabi asks, “Did you have something in mind?”
Chapter 14: Sorahiko Torino!
Summary:
Sorahiko Torino was born on January 28th!
Notes:
You all don't seem as proud of me as I feel about my uploading. I posted this the day of! I'm improving! :D
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
Being old isn't as good as Sorahiko makes it looks. There achy joints, white hair, wrinkled skin, and shrinking that he didn't expect. But that's not to say that aging is bad. Sorahiko, not that he'll admit this to anyone, has enjoyed his life. He became the pro hero Gran Torino and helped people. He befriended one of the best heroes: Nana Shimura, whom he didn't expect to leave before him. He mentored the number one hero All Might until he sacrificed his quirk and career to save the people he cared about so much. And now, Sorahiko is helping to mentor Izuku Midoriya, a boy that shouldn't have been introduced to the darkness of this world at such a young age. But Sorahiko doesn't regret any of those things, no matter how annoying teenagers can be and how ungrateful some people are to being saved, especially at the start of his career.
All of this reflection stuff makes it seems like Sorahiko is going to die today, but he isn't and has no plan to anytime soon. Instead, it's his birthday, and the retired Gran Torino is officially one year older than he was a day ago.
Another part of growing old is that you celebrate your birthday less. Everyone that used to celebrate it with you have moved on, and the day can easily become expensive. Sorahiko is not very different: he doesn't bother people by telling him his birthdate (he doesn't really want people around anyway) and treats himself simply rather than with an elaborate party. So his ultimate birthday plan is to go to a cafe and enjoy the best taiyaki. The ones he gets from the store are to average for today.
And with that, Sorahiko leaves his house in civilian wear instead of his ever present old glorified hero costume. But when he sets off down the street toward his intended destination, Sorahiko sees a dust cloud rushing down the road. Right towards him.
Instinctively, he settles into a battle stance, but almost immediately relaxes when he sees the idiots responsible. As if racing, Toshinori and Midoriya sprint down the street, leaving the dust cloud in their wake. Toshinori, Sorahiko notes sadly, is using the little bit of his quirk he has left to compete with his protege. When they stop in front of Sorahiko, Toshinori quickly turns back into his weakened state and spews out some blood like it's a common occurrence to him. Which it likely is.
"Happy birthday, Gran Torino!" Midoriya and Toshinori exclaim once the later is done recovering.
"Heh?" Sorahiko says, not fully comprehending what they said at first.
Sorahiko shouldn't have questioned the two, though, because they quickly break out into singing Happy Birthday to him. Sorahiko refrains from using his quirk and kicking them both in the stomachs and instead quiets them down.
To be honest, Sorahiko isn't surprised that Toshinori and Midoriya know that his birthday is today. Toshinori probably found out a long time ago and told Midoriya. What does surprise Sorahiko is that they're here, with him.
"Aren't you two supposed to be in school?" he asks.
"We were excused to celebrate!" Midoriya says enthusiastically.
Sorahiko doesn't say anything for a few seconds. Should he turn the two away? Or let his day be ruined (improved) by people he doesn't like (cares about)?
Sorahiko sighs. "Fine," he draws the word out, "I'm heading to a cafe for taiyaki. Come on."
And with that, the three of them walk down the street to the cafe. Maybe Sorahiko got something wrong about getting older: not everyone leaves.
Notes:
That concludes all of January's birthdays! Dang this month went by fast.
Hope you all enjoyed!
Chapter 15: Koji Koda!
Summary:
Koji Koda was born on February 1st!
Chapter Text
The morning is calm and smells of dew. It relaxes Koda as he walks to school.
Koda is very excited about today, but also nervous. It’s his birthday after all, and he isn’t sure if he wants his classmates to know that or not. Some of them would be overjoyed about it being Koda’s birthday, but Koda can easily see some of them also being indifferent. But they would care, right?
“My friends would care about it being my birthday today, right?” Koda asks a cute rabbit hiding in a bush nearby.
Of course they would care! the rabbit responds.
Happy birthday! cheers a bird who overheard the conversation.
“Thank you,” Koda says earnestly with a smile.
Happy birthday! squeaks a mouse hiding under a tree’s roots.
Happy birthday! pipes up a bug nestled into one of the sidewalk’s deep cracks.
A cacophony of Happy Birthdays rings out from all of the animals and bugs in the area. Koda smiles to himself and to all of them (even the bugs despite them still making Koda a little scared).
“Thank you!” Koda says loud enough for them all to hear. Thankfully, there isn’t anyone else walking nearby, otherwise, that would have been really embarassing.
Later, Koda isn’t nervous when he gets to school, and his smile is wide as all of his classmates cheer Happy Birthday for him.
Notes:
Please check out my Febuwhump series! The second one comes out today!
Chapter 16: Tsuyu Asui!
Summary:
Tsuyu Asui was born on February 12th!
Notes:
Sorry for another really short chapter. I wrote this on a sudden burst of motivation.
Enjoy!
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
"Happy birthday, Tsu!" Mina and Uraraka cheer with wide bright smiles.
They eagerly wrap Tsuyu up in a joyful embrace, jumping up and down as they do so. Tsuyu hugs her friends back with a smile equally as large and happy.
"Thank you!" Tsuyu says as they pull away.
The moment the three of them aren't hugging anymore, Mina is excitedly shoving a present into Tsuyu's empty hands. Tsuyu stares down in wonder at the brightly wrapped shape in her hands.
"Open it!' Mina exclaims, bouncing up and down with bubbling energy. Uraraka smiles besides the two of them.
Tsuyu avidly tears into her present and throws the now torn wrapping paper to the side. She'll pick it up later. Tsuyu gasps when all the paper is taken off. She looks up at Uraraka and Mina with wide gleeful eyes.
"Really?!" Tsuyu says both in unreasonable disbelief and extreme happiness. "For me?! Ribbit!"
Uraraka and Mina both nod aggressively, smiling in their own and Tsuyu's excitement.
"Do you like it?" Uraraka asks. "It's from both of us." Uraraka looks like she wants to defend Tsuyu's birthday gift even more, but there's nothing she needs to defend.
"I love it!" Tsuyu exclaims and interrupts Uraraka's rambling with another hug that envelopes both of Tsuyu's friends. "Thank you so much! Ribbit!"
Tsuyu's friends devolve into giggles, and Tsuyu goes on to have a great rest of her birthday. She barely lets go of the strawberry Squishmallo Mina and Uraraka gave her.
Notes:
Yes, Tsuyu's gift was a Squishmallow, because I could really see her just cuddling the crap out of one. And Mina and Uraraka would totally give her one (after telling Momo not to make her one).
Once again, I am behind with this fic, which is completely fine, because I'm only a few weeks behind... and not a few months.
Chapter 17: Tamaki Amajiki!
Summary:
Tamaki Amajiki was born on March 4th!
Notes:
I HAVE RETURNED!
Sorry I'm so behind again.
But..., here's a relatively nice length chapter.Enjoy!
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
“Tamaki!” a loud familiar and cheerful voice calls from down the hall.
Tamaki’s shoulders hitch, and he nervously turns around to see Mirio running full speed at him through the hallway crowded with U.A. students. Before Tamaki can move out of the way, Mirio is crushing him in a very large and tight hug.
“Happy Birthday!” Mirio practically yells.
Suffocating beneath Mirio’s arms, Tamaki gives a shaky thumbs up. Finally, Mirio releases Tamaki who immediately shrinks into himself as he sees all of the students in the hallway begin to look at the two of them.
Mirio traces Tamaki’s gaze and shouts, “You all act like you’ve never properly celebrated a birthday before!” Mirio laughs as many of the students turn away somewhat embarrassed and continue on with their days.
A few of them wish Tamaki a happy birthday much quieter than Mirio did, and Tamaki feels his face heat up from being the center of attention. When everyone has finally left Tamaki alone after a couple of moments, he breathes out a sigh of relief.
Mirio chuckles. “You had to have known this was coming,” he states as he swings an arm over Tamaki’s shoulders. They both return to walking down the hallway to their homeroom class.
“I did,” Tamaki admits. “But I was also hoping you wouldn’t do it in front of everyone.”
Mirio laughs like Tamaki told a funny joke. “I thought you knew me better than that!” Mirio exclaims with a playful smile.
Tamaki smiles back, albeit a little more timidly. “I do. That’s why I said hope.”
“Anyways…,” Mirio says, drawing the word out, “do you have any special birthday plans?”
Tamaki hums. “Not really. Might just stay in.”
Apparently, this was the wrong answer to Mirio. “No, we have to celebrate!”
“We?”
“Yes, we. You are not going to spend your birthday alone in your room playing video games or practicing using your quirk.” That was Tamaki’s exact plan. Try to beat the new level he got to with a plate of snacks. Mirio knows him too well. “If you want, we can still do that, but together. And maybe with Nejire.”
“Is this my birthday or yours?” Tamaki asks.
“It’s yours, but I’m just the superior planner,” Mirio brags with a smile.
Tamaki grins backs and doesn’t argue with that.
After another minute of walking, Tamaki and Mirio arrive at their homeroom class, and Mirio removes his arm from Tamaki’s shoulders. Suddenly, the door swings open, nearly hitting Mirio if he didn’t use his quirk in time. Tamaki takes a surprised step back as Nejire bounces in the doorway.
“Happy birthday, Tamaki!” she cheers with a bright smile and lit up eyes.
“Uh, thank you, Nejire,” Tamaki answers quietly.
It’s quite obvious that Nejire wants to hug Tamaki, but is holding back for his sake. So, with a reluctant breath, Tamaki raises and holds out his arms. Nejire immediately bounds into them and squeezes Tamaki into a big hug. Mirio also takes the opportunity to crush the both of them in another one of his extravagant embraces.
Despite the lack of breath and personal space, Tamaki silently enjoys the warmth, care, and comfort he gets from his friends’ hugs. But he can only take so much, so after a few seconds, Tamaki maneuvers himself out of the group hug.
“Do you want to come over after school and play video games?” Tamaki quietly asks Nejire.
“Sure!” Nejire beams while Mirio cheers. “I’ll run home to grab some snacks and a couple games I have, too.”
“Oh, thank you.”
“Yeah, Tamaki doesn’t have many multiplayer games,” Mirio says and gives Tamaki a nuggie.
Tamaki pushes Mirio away and gives a small guilty smile.
Nejire laughs, and Mirio guides Tamaki and Nejire into the classroom. Tamaki’s classmates and sensei wish him a happy birthday (which makes Tamaki want to curl up in a corner), and then the school day begins. But it looks like it’s going to be a good birthday.
Notes:
Tamaki is me for really, y'all.
If y'all like My Hero Academia, then please check my other MHA fics. In the time I haven't spent on this fics, I have written a MHA oneshot and started another MHA series.
(Also, please feel free to leave kudos and comments. They make me so happy.)
Sorry for the self promo! Have a nice day!! :D
Chapter 18: Midnight!
Summary:
Midnight was born on March 9th!
Notes:
I'm so sorry y'all for being behind on this (again). I have been busy with other things, including other fics. Luckily, I am not super super behind (although it might seem that way).
Anyway, hope you all enjoy this short chapter!
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
Midnight strolled into U.A. this morning with an extra pep in her step. Students were obviously befuddled about her extra optimism-- a maybe a little fearful-- as she walked through the halls and to the teachers' lounge. But thankfully, Midnight's coworkers and friends remembered why today was so special (how could they forget?).
When Midnight opens the door to the U.A. teachers' lounge, she is greeted by a loud, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" cheer.
With a big smile, Midnight's gaze sweeps over the other teachers and even a couple of students that have crowded into the decorated break room. They all have paper party hats on and a couple of noisemakers, as well as joyous smiles of their own.
"Aw, you guys shouldn't have," Midnight says, faking high indifference.
Someone scoffs. "Oh come on, Midnight. Your acting is as bad as Mic's ability to make a cake," Eraserhead jokes with his ever so serious face. Next to Eraser, Mic dramatically gasps and practically smacks a hand over his heart.
With that, Midnight's attention is brought to the birthday cake that sits on the table in the middle of everyone. Above them all, a happy banner, too, proclaims Happy Birthday.
A warm feeling spreads through Midnight's chest, and her smile turns soft. She knows that every year her coworkers-- most of which have become her friends-- will remember and celebrate her birthday. But this year, it's different. There are students here, too! Most of the girls from Class 1-A are here, grinning widely and cheering Midnight along with most of the people she cares about. It's heart warming to see the impact she's having on these kids, this school.
"So, did you make this cake, Mic?" Midnight asks, shaking herself away from her heart touching thoughts that will only end in unwanted tears.
Mic opens his mouth to answer, but is cut off by Ectoplasm. "No, this one was made by Satou in Class 1-A," Midnight nearly swoons at the fact that they even made a cake for her. "I... I have never seen someone revert a cake back to its raw ingredients like Mic did."
All Might shakes his head. "It was not pretty in the slightest."
Uraraka giggles at the other teachers' antics and Mic's stunned and pretty much horrified expression. Besides her, Ashido bounces up and down excitedely before her excitement boils over and she finally dashes up to Midnight. Ashido eagerly holds out a nicely wrapped gift to Midnight, which Midnight gratefully takes.
"Happy birthday!" Ashidos cheers again. Her face is so cute with her eyes squeezed close by her large smile.
Not able to deal with the cuteness and emotions she is recieving, Midnight quickly grabs Ashido and brings her into a tight hug. "Thank you! Thank you all!" she says.
This is going to be the best birthday.
Notes:
Also, I mentioned this before but I just want to make it clear again: I am not writing a chapter for EVERY My Hero Academia character. Otherwise this series would be neverending, and I would lose my sanity much quicker. I write chapters for the characters I like, are popular, or that I deem deserving of a chapter. Some people-- cough cough, Overhaul, cough cough-- won't get chapters.
Chapter 19: Twice!
Summary:
Twice was born on May 10th!
Notes:
I'm so behind again! And now it's December! I have some catching up to do! AAAAAAAHHHHH!
Okay, now that my panic is behind, enjoy!
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
It's Twice's birthday and hell is he excited! He can't wait to see what his fellow members of the LOV have done for him today. Because surely they remembered Twice's birthday. He only told them at least three times every day, five if they weren't busy and even if they were. And they're not the type of people to forget things easily. Well, maybe Dabi is. Shigaraki just kind of seems indifferent to most. And Twice can never tell what Kurogiri is thinking. But Toga, Compress, and Spinner would never forget something as crucial and impactful as Twice's birthday. Surely!
Eager to celebrate such a joyous occasion, Twice leaves his apartment and heads to the League of Villain's very secret hideout. He practically tiptoes in, giddiness creeps in on him as he spies Dabi.
"Dabi!" Twice shouts into the burnt villain's ear as he jumps up and wraps an arm around Dabi's shoulders, bringing him close in a side hug. "How are you my man?!" Twice's voice is excited and energetic, contrasting greatly to the ever exasperated expression of Dabi.
"Get off of me before I burn you to a crisp, Twice," Dabi threatens gruffly.
Twice immediately jumps back, holding his hands in front of him in a peaceful gesture. "Hey, I mean no harm!" His voice shifts as he holds a thumbs up, "Good reactions and threatening skills, Dabi."
Dabi rolls his eyes and dusts off his trenchcoat as Toga bounds into the room, the rest of the League of Villains behind her. Toga looks at Twice with a big wide toothy smile. Like Twice did to Dabi, Toga leaps at Twice, however, she doesn't settle for half a hug. Twice barely manages to keep them both from toppling over to the hardwood floor as Toga eagerly wraps her arms around Twice.
"Happy birthday, Twice!" Toga cheers, her voice light and bubbly.
Twice gasps. "You remembered!" he exclaims happily before his voice turns slightly sterner. "Of course she did, doofus. Our Toga would never forget." Toga's grin doesn't falter at Twice's switch.
Compress and Spinner walk over to Twice while Shigaraki stalks in after them, keeping to the back. Kurogiri takes his place behind the bar with a brief "Happy birthday" to Twice.
Compress pats Twice on the back. "The happiest of birthdays to you, Twice," he says. Twice can't tell if Compress is smiling beneath his mask, but he sure hopes he is!
"Yeah man," Spinner speaks up, "happy birthday! Do you have any plans?"
Twice ponders for a moment, assuming his natural thinking pose. He snaps his fingers in an eureka moment as he says, "No."
Spinner seems confused by Twice's bizarre answer while Compress only chuckles. "I'm sure we can find something fun to do. Perhaps a little crime could be involved as well," Compress suggests.
Toga bounces up and down. "Crime! I want to stab someone! Can I stab someone? Pleeeeeeaaaaase?"
"No, stabbing," Twice answers, causing Toga to pout. "Absolutely!" he cheers a second later, and Toga starts bouncing again.
"How old are you anyway?" Spinner asks, changing the topic of the conversation.
"I'm-," Twice starts to answer. "It's a secret!" Spinner looks disappointed, and Dabi chuckles.
"We should bake a cake!" Toga spontaneously declares, hopping excitedly.
"Yes!" Twice eagerly agrees. "Chocolate, no vanilla, no strawberry, wait ew, chocolate!"
Compress chuckles, and Spinner snickers. "I think we have some cake mix in the kitchen," Kurogiri tells everyone from across the room.
Toga's eyes practically sparkle in response. "Cake it is!" she exclaims before grabbing Twice by his hand. "Let's go!" With that, Toga starts pulling Twice with her towards the kitchen, although he doesn't fight back against it. Compress and Spinner follow them, and after a moment's hesitation, Dabi does as well.
As Twice passes by Shigaraki, the leader of the League speaks quietly and raspily: "Happy birthday, Twice."
Even though he knows Shigaraki can't see it beneath Twice's mask, Twice smiles at him. "Thanks boss!" He says back, albeit not as quietly as Shigaraki would have liked because he turns away and grumbles something incoherent beneath his breath. There are more muffled laughs and snickers behind Twice.
Toga continues to pull Twice to the kitchen, and as he passes through the door to the room that awaits him with the promise of cake and a future disastrous mess of baking ingredients, Twice can't help but smile and be glad to be spending his birthday with his friends instead of alone again in his apartment.
Notes:
Gotta love Twice. I tried my best to emulate his contrasting personalities, but if you have any tips, feel free to comment them.
If you didn't read the one chapter about my plans for this fic/series (I think it's called something like UPDATE), or even if you did and can't remember, here is my plan for this fic: after the New Year, this fic will be completed. It was never my intention to write a chapter for every MHA character, and after two years, I think I would have written a good chunk of characters, including the ones I wanted to write. So, I will try to finish this fic in December, if not in January to achieve that goal. Don't worry, I will have the final chapter saying that.
Anyways, thank you for being here and for reading this! Love and appreciate you all! <3
Chapter 20: Yuga Aoyama, Toru Hagakure, & Rikido Sato!
Summary:
Yuga Aoyama was born on May 30th!
Toru Hagakure was born on June 16th!
Rikido Sato was born on June 19th!
Notes:
I'm so behind so I though a combination chapter would be good. Plus, these characters have birthdays close enough together to work.
Anyways, enjoy!

Chapter Text
With living in the dorms on U.A.'s campus, students don't see their parents as much. And paired with their busy schedules of school, training, and unfortunate luck of being attacked by villains, the students don't often get the opportunity to visit their families. Such a situation doesn't make birthdays very happy.
It's been a few weeks since some of the students have seen their families, and Rikido knows that he isn't the only one who's had a birthday in that time. Aoyama had his birthday a couple of weeks ago, and Hagakure's was just the other day-- only three days after Rikido's own. None of them really had a celebration, with the most fanfare they got being their more excitable classmates and a supervised trip to the mall. So Rikido decided to take things into his own hands. Literally.
. . . . .
Yuga was chilling in his dorm room admiring himself and his new sparkling poets shirt when someone knocked on the door. Reluctantly turning away from the stunning view in the mirror, Aoyama opened the door and was surprised to see Sato standing there... with a small cake. Behind Sato, Yuga can make out the form of Hagakure bouncing up and down excitedly.
"My my, what is happening, mon ami?" Yuga asks, his eyes darting back to the cake and then back up to Sato. While the cake isn't the biggest, it is the perfect for one or two people to have generous servings. It has light blue sprinkles that glitter in the light atop white icing and a light vanilla base. It looks mouthwateringly delicious just like everything else Sato bakes. But what is he doing here with it?
"Happy late birthday," Sato says with a smile. "I know yours was a couple weeks ago, but we didn't really get to celebrate, so I made you a cake. I made Hagakure her own, too, but she wanted to come with when I gave you yours." Sato hands the cake over, and Yuga takes it with wonder and grateful emotions swimming in his eyes. "I didn't know what kind of cake you like, so I tried to make it fancy and-."
"Twinkly," Yuga finishes.
"Uh, I was going to say glittery, but yes, twinkly."
Yuga looks up at Sato, one of his classmates who he didn't know the best but was still kind nonetheless. "Thank you, mon ami. I will savor every sparkling bite."
Sato smiles, and Hagakure bounds closer, not interjecting herself into the doorway and the conversation. "It's so pretty, isn't it?! Sato is just the best when it comes to baking! He made me a strawberry one with real strawberries on top!" Hagakure explains eagerly.
Sato rubs his neck and looks away shyly, and Yuga smiles.
"Would you two like some?" Yuga asks, walking into his room and setting the cake on his desk. "It's the perfect sharing size, and I am nothing but generous."
Hagakure wastes no time in entering his room and jumping on top of Yuga's bed which is lush with a duvet, fleece blanket, and a large assortment of comfy pillows. Sato is a little more hesitant to enter, but he does, sitting himself on the edge of Yuga's bed instead of sprawling on top of it like Hagakure. Yuga quickly searches around and finds a few pairs of cutlery he had leftover from the cafeteria. He hands them out to Sato and Hagakure before they all eagerly dig into the cake.
"Happy birthday, mon amis," Yuga says between bites. And what a happy (late) birthday it was indeed for all three of them.
Notes:
short but sweet. I could just really see Sato handing out cakes, no matter the occasion.
I am so sorry for my terrible uploading on all my stories/fics, not just this one. I hope to write more but no promises.

Chapter Text
Natsuo had had a busy day. College was hectic as usual, and he had nearly been late back to class after lunch with his girlfriend off campus. Lunch was great of course, Natsuo always loves spending time with his partner. Plus, she had remembered his birthday and given him a cute bracelet with their initials engraved in it. Natsuo already treasures it with all his heart, and he knows that he'll wear it everyday. But Natsuo was beat and going home seemed both dreadful and exciting. Part of Natsuo hopes his dad won't be home, at least not yet. It might be selfish, but Natsuo wants to spend all if not as much of his birthday as he can without being reminded of his family's very disturbing issues.
After a not terribly long travel to his family's home, Natsuo arrives at the front door. He musters a deep breath before opening the door and entering the Todoroki house.
It's quiet.
After a moment, it dawns on Natsuo that the only person who would be home today is his older sister Fuyumi. Shoto is at U.A., likely either training to becoming a hero or sleeping in his dorm on the school's campus this very moment. Dad is likely at work still, either on patrol, dealing with some rando villain, or finally tackling his paperwork. And mom...mom is where she's been for the past for years. Toya, too.
And so, Natsuo sets off to find Fuyumi, which doesn't take long at all. Soft footsteps pad around the kitchen with the occasional light clanking of a metal skillet or pot on the stove or the rhythmic chopping of a knife slicing onto the cutting board. Natuso turns the corner into the kitchen to see Fuyumi cooking up a storm. All the stove burners are in use while bowls of different things-- chopped peppers, steaming rice, creamy and spicy sauces-- litter the countertops in a chaotic sort of organization. A signature staple of Fuyumi when she cooks.
Fuyumi, meanwhile, is chopping away at a carrot across the kitchen with her back to Natuso. Not wanting to disturb her... yet, Natuso leans against the doorway, waiting for his sister to become aware of his prescence.
After she finished cutting the carrot, Fuyumi dumps the chopped bits into the bowl with the peppers, creating a vibrant array of yellows, oranges, and reds inside of the white porcelain. As Fuyumi turns, likely to grab the next vegetable to chop or ingredient to prepare, she catches sight of Natsuo. Natsuo barely stops himself from doubling over laughing as in a split second of spying him, Fuyumi's eyes widen and she jumps into the air.
"You should see your face, Fuyumi!" Natsuo laughs with a hand on his chest.
"Ha ha ha, very funny," Fuyumi says sarcastically. "Don't make me hit you over the head with a spoon."
"Oh no, not the wooden spoon," Natsuo jokes with a grin as he gets his laughter under control.
Fuyumi grins and brushes off her apron before walking over and hugging Natsuo. Natsuo hugs her back, savoring the warmth and comfort radiating from Fuyumi despite their shared frost quirk.
"How's your birthday been?" Fuyumi asks as she pulls away.
"Good," Natsuo answers. "A bit busy but good."
Fuyumi coos at the bracelet his girlfriend gave him when Natuso shows her. "Such a sweetheart," Fuyumi says kindly.
"Yeah, she is," Natsuo says softly as he gazes down at the bracelet lovingly.
After a moment of peaceful silence other than the crackling of the stove's flames and the various substances cooking, Fuyumi speaks up again. "Well, I'm making all your favorites. Shoto said he'd tried to make it home. He's got to figure it out with his teachers. And dad...well, I don't know when dad will be home, but I'll make sure to save him a plate."
Despite the mention of his dad, Natsuo smiles. "Thank you, Fuyumi. That sounds wonderful. Do you think Shoto will be able to eat it, though? Without it being soba?"
Fuyumi laughs and just the sound of it has Natsuo smiling more. His sister is such a bright force, always a sun lighting up his day, no matter how low in the dumps or high in the sky he is.
And that's how Natsuo's birthday instantly got even better: his wonderful sister.
Notes:
Thank you all for reading this! 700 hits! That's amazing! You're all amazing as heck!!
Also, I don't know what food Fuyumi was making, but it sounds like something she would cook. :)

Chapter Text
When you're a mother, your life begins to revolve wholly around your child. You incorporate getting them to school everyday into your drive to work. You start including foods for their growing bodies into your shopping list. You find yourself looking at toys and cute things more and barely being able to resist purchasing every single one. But most of all, your birthday becomes a fun day for them. They get cake and treats because it's an excuse for you to get cake and treats. But they do always set aside a little thing for you, whether it's a card with childish scribbles drawn on it, or a messy attempt at crafting something special, or even just an extra long and tight birthday hug.
Inko always savored those days when it would be a day to celebrate her but Izuku enjoyed it so much more. His small face would light up with a brilliant smile as he beamed up at her with a handrawn All Might card in his hands with the hero on the front proclaiming Happy Birthday!
But Izuku is older now. A teenager for gosh sake! Inko can barely believe it. But being older means Inko doesn't get to see her little boy as much anymore. Izuku's at U.A. now, fulfilling his dream at becoming the number one hero. He lives in a dorm on the campus lately, and Inko told him over the phone the other day to not try and come home. She doesn't want to interfere with his training or studies.
So Inko isn't really planning let alone expecting something for her birthday. Her co-workers wished her a happy birthday today at work, and her friend bought her a cookie. Other than that, though, all Inko was planning on doing when she gets home was making a bowl of ramen and sitting on the couch watching the next episode of the soap opera she likes.
All those plans go straight out the window as Inko opens the front door and steps inside to see Izuku standing there in a party hat and holding a noisemaker.
"Happy birthday, Mom!" Izuku cheers with a bright smile on his face as he spins the noisemaker.
Stunned, Inko sets her purse down and takes her shoes off. "Izuku? What are you doing here? You should be at school," Inko says softly.
Izuku grins and scratches his neck awkwardly. "Yeah, I know, but I wanted to celebrate your birthday. We've never been apart on it before."
Inko can't help but smile at her son. "Oh, Izu... thank you."
"Of course, Mom," Izuku beams, and Inko is reminded of young Izuku when he would run around in his All Might costume and spin excitedly as he waited for her to boot up the computer for him. And now he's in high school, training under All Might with a quirk and a bigger smile than Inko has seen in years.
Inko steps forward and hugs Izuku who returns the hug, burying his face into her neck like he used to when he could fit entirely in Inko's arms.
"I love you so much, Izuku," Inko murmurs into her son's unruly green hair.
"I love you, too, Mom. Happy birthday," Izuku whispers back.
It was a very happy birthday indeed.
Notes:
I really enjoyed writing this chapter, and I hope you all enjoyed reading it!
