Summary:
Toji felt like his beginning, a match swiped against flint and lit his firework to vibrant life, the source of his burning flame and the only one who could placate it without knowing.
In which Toji is gone, and Naoya is left to fix himself.
He never called it love, because love wasn’t the currency that Toji traded, and it felt too ugly a thing sloshing inside his hollow bones to become anything close, settling like lead in his veins almost every time Toji was done with him, but he panted like a dog with a bone dangled in front of him at the next invitation, hooked on a drug that was all scars and hard muscles and ebony hair.
