Chapter Text

Otto was furious with the other Peters. They were meant to look out for each other not be the one causing the pain.

He picked up his phone and called his own Peter who answered right away.

"Otto. Have you seen Petey? There was an accident." Peter 2 said into the phone.

"Oh. I know all about it. You two come here right now." Otto said hanging up the phone without even a goodbye.

He waited on the couch for them to turn up and when they did Otto stood up.

"Where is he?" Peter 3 asked.

"We have been so worried about him." Peter 2 added.

Otto ignored their question and pointed to the couch.

"Sit." He said leaving no room for arguments.

The Peters followed his order with no questions.

Otto paced in front of them as he began talking.

"I can't believe you two. I truly have no words for what you two did." Otto started.

"We are really sorry." Peter 2 said.

"We didn't mean to cause the panic attack." Peter 3 said.

Otto turned to them, raising his eyebrows he continued. "Really? You didn't mean too? I wouldn't have guessed from what I heard Petey begged you to let him go. But instead you threw him in the water. You two are meant to be his older brothers and keep him safe. But instead you caused a panic attack. You are lucky he called me."

Peter 2 and 3 looked down at the floor in shame. They know they messed up. They just hope Peter 1 would forgive them.

"Can we please see him?" Peter 2 asked.

"He is in my room sleeping. You can check. If he is still asleep you come back out." Otto explained.

Peter 2 and 3 nodded.

They got off the couch and walked towards the bedroom door that was closed. For some reason they felt intimidated even though Peter 1 was just behind the door.

They didn't knock just in case Peter 1 was sleeping. They didn't want to wake him from a clearly needed nap.

Peter 3 pushed open the door carefully. The hallway light shined in hitting Peter 1's body.

They were about to leave until Peter 1 moved and looked at them. He squinted against the harsh light in the dark room.

"Sorry we didn't mean to wake you." Peter 2 whispered.

Peter 1 sat up. "You didn't wake me. I was already awake."

They carefully walked into the room leaving the light off.

No one spoke. Clearly uncomfortable.

Peter 2 decided since he was the oldest he should start the conversation first.

"Look Petey. We are so sorry for what happened."

Peter 3 jumped in, "We were just trying to have fun. We should have listened to you."

Peter 1 looked up at them.

"It hurt me when you didn't listen." Peter 1 said honestly, "I get, you were having fun but I wish you didn't take it that far."

"Can we sit with you?" Peter 3 asked.

He nodded.

Peter 2 sat on Peter 1's left side while Peter 3 went to the right.

Peter 3 carefully moved Peter 1's head so it was resting on his chest. Peter 2 moved his hand to Peter 1's hair and gently moved his fingers through the brown locks. Peter 1 sighed in comfort.

"We really didn't mean to. We should have listened. We all have trauma to do with spidermaning." Peter 2 said, his voice was soft.

"We should have a sit down and actually talk about triggers for our PTSD and anxiety. We don't want this to happen again." Peter 3 suggested.

"Hmmm." Peter 1 hummed.

"Aw. Looks like someone is sleepy." Peter 3 said nuzzling his head into Peter 1's head making him giggle at the ticklish.

"I think we could use a good rest." Peter 2 agreed, moving closer to his brothers.

It didn't take long until the room was filled with light snoring.

With Otto

Otto wasn't worried. He knew they would protect Peter 1 with their lives. This was just a mistake that they could learn from. Otto was still mad but it was more disappointment but again they have learned what not listening to some could cause. What he was worried about though was the silence.

He got up from the couch and walked to his bedroom where the door was closed but when he opened he was met with such an adorable sight.

The Peters were curled up in a small spider pile fast asleep. Their kitten-like snoring filled the room.

Otto walked into the room making sure to not make a sound as he turned the ceiling fan to make sure the boys didn't get too hot from cuddles. That didn't stop him from covering them with a thin blanket.

Otto went back to the door. With one look behind him he smiled at them and carefully shut the door. Letting them sleep.
