Chapter Text
"Who are my handsome boy? Who are my handsome boys?" Harry cooed at his babies where they were laid out on the play mat in front of him. Killian blew some spit bubbles at him while Maddock was busy attempting to slobber his wolf cuddly toys ear to death.
Killian wriggled a little before Maddock suddenly swung his toy and caught his brother in the face with it. The affronted look on Killian's face was adorable, as was the bottom lip that stuck out and wobbled slightly before he started crying. Maddock looked to the side worriedly at his twin, his own lip wobbling in threat of a cry too.
"Cast away your worries, my dear
For tomorrow comes a new day
Hold to me, you've nothing to fear
For your dreams are not far away
As you lay your head and you rest
May your dreams take over, my love
Listen close, my son of the west
For your destiny lies above
Though the world is cruel
There's a light that still shines
In the darkest days of our lives
When all hope seems lost
and you can't find your way
Think of me as you look to the sky
Child mine, your future is bright
For your father's blood's in your veins
In dark times, I pray you will fight
For the world will soon know your name,"
"I love listening to you sing to the them," Lucius said softly from the doorway making Harry blink and look up smiling. The boys had settled down and were blinking up at Harry with bright eyes. Harry blushed slightly as he smiled shyly at his love. Bending down he nuzzled their cheeks grinning when they both burbled happily at him.
"How was work?" Harry asked.
"Tiring! Plotting and planning is exhausting," Lucius groaned stripping out of his robes and dropping onto the floor next to Harry. He leant over himself and dotted kisses all over the boys cheeks before leaning in and capturing Harry's lips. His dark haired fiance hummed happily and leant into the kiss.
"You know that you and Marcus are slightly scary right?" Harry smiled.
"Ha! Coming from you who started this ball rolling?" Lucius raised his eyebrow. Harry grinned crawling over to Lucius and straddling his lap, wrapping his arms around Lucius' shoulders and pulling him in for another deep kiss.
"I might have started this ball rolling, but you have caught that ball and turned it into a boulder. You're amazing," Harry sighed.
"I lost pace for a little while, you and the boys, it took me a while to find my feet not having to wear my mask the whole time. But you were right, no one threatens this family, no one. And I will not let anyone take this from me, I will not let anyone harm our family. You mean the world to me," Lucius smirked.
"You know, this side of you is extremely sexy," Harry smirked back running his fingers into Lucius' hair, loosening it from his ponytail.
"Really?" Lucius' eyes were twinkling as his hand slipped under Harry's top.
"Please tell me you are not doing that in front of my nephews?" Marcus drawled.
"Never mind the nephews! My eyes!" Bill groaned snickering.
"Shut up Marcus," Lucius glared but Harry was smirking at Bill.
"Heeey Bill, fancy seeing you here," Harry smirked wider when Bill turned bright red, his eyes glancing to Marcus before settling back to Harry to glare at him.
"I was popping in to visit you and boys," He grit out.
"Really, four days on the run, we're honoured," Harry snickered.
"I...well...you see..."
"Wonderful as you are here to see the boys you and Marcus can look after them while Lucius and myself have a little adult time," Harry stood quickly and tugged Lucius to his feet by his lapels and tugged him to the door.
"Wait what?!"
"Wouldn't want to scar your nephews now would you," Lucius nodded quickly hurrying after Harry.
Harry tugged Lucius into their room, shutting the door behind them, and proceeded to strip Lucius off his robes as quickly as possible while he sealed their lips together hungrily.

Harry grinned as he watched Sirius cooing over the boys, he swore that his godfather fell more and more in love with the twins every time he saw them, Remus who was kneeling down next to Sirius pulling the best face for his sons Harry knew was already head over heels. They seemed to have healed something more of Sirius and Remus and Harry hoped that as the years went on the little family that they were forming would heal more and more of all of them.
"Hey," Harry smiled walking into the room and kissing both of them on the cheek before also sitting on the floor and kissing his sons on their foreheads.
"Hey you, sorry we just came into the nursery, we weren't sure where you were," Remus apologised.
"No need to worry, Lucius likes that you are feeling so comfortable here," Harry shook his head.
"Really?" Sirius looked just a little doubtful, but he blinked when Harry poked him in the forehead.
"Yes really, he is enjoying having a big family here honestly, between the Killian and Maddock, Alexander, Victoria and Marcus, Draco and everyone else that have come around with the twins he is loving the house being so full after years of just her and Draco here," Harry told them.
"Never thought that we would be playing happy families with the Malfoys," Remus snickered.
"The Malfoys, Severus, us, the Weasleys and our little section of the Order playing happy families, its like a joke no one would ever have dreamed have telling, but it works," Harry chuckled.
"It is certainly not where we ever expected to see ourselves," Sirius chuckled.
"But in a good way?" Harry asked softly.
"Definitely in a good way. We are having a life with you, with our gorgeous grandbabies, and both of us have the chance for a family that we haven't had before, the closest we got was during the first war when you were a baby. A couple of years where we had the chance for a family life before it was taken from us," Sirius said taking Harry's hand.
The dark haired teen blinked at his godfathers, he sometimes forgot that neither of them had really had family before. Remus' parents had never really been able to accept him, when he had started to spend most summers with Harry's grandparents they had been relieved. They had moved out the country and not come back while Remus was at Hogwarts for his final year. Sirius' family, the Black family, well the least said the better, but needless to say he had never really known family once it became apparent that he was not going to share the same dark tendencies that the rest of the family followed.
They had managed to find a small family in the Potter family and with Lily and Wormtail. And for a year or two they had all found a family together, Harry had come along and their family had seemed to be growing and developing. But then his grandparents had been murdered by Voldemort, and only six months later Wormtail would betray them, James and Lily would be dead, Harry taken away, Sirius in prison, and Remus left to fend for himself, alone again with no one to understand him.
Harry rested his head on Sirius' shoulder and took Remus' hand in between both of his. They looked confused but happily went into the hug that Harry clearly wanted, wrapping themselves around him and hugging him firmly, while all their eyes stayed on the two babies wiggling contently on the floor in front of them.
"I want you guys to move in here," Harry said firmly.
"What...but..."
"No, I have had enough of putting my life on hold, of not getting to have my family in my life properly, I have had enough of him ruling my life and stopping us from living it! He's going to take no more from me!" Harry said firmly.
"Lucius..."
"Wants you to live here too, I want this mansion to have family, life and love in it again. I want my sons to have love all around them, and I want to see Harry happy. This is your home." Lucius said firmly from where he was standing at the door.
"Then I think its time we came home," Remus smiled tightening his hold on Harry's hands.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Oh I never want to put you two down, no I don't, oh you two are so gorgeous," Molly sighed looking between the two babies in her arms. Killian had a good grip on one of her curls while Maddock was content was gripping and ungripping her cardigan. She had been thrilled when she had arrived to see them wearing the jumpers that she had knitted for them and the socks, Harry was glad that he had decided on the jumpers and knitted booties today for the boys when he saw the delight on her face.
He was sitting next to her on the sofa watching with a small smile as she fawned over the boys with so much love in her. He watched contently as they were given even more love and they soaked it up happily. They didn't know yet how lucky they were to be surrounded with so much love, and so much happiness, they weren't going to want for love when they had people lining up to show them just how much they were adored already.
"Molly?" Harry asked softly.
"Yes my love," Molly looked so content as she smiled at him that he couldn't stop his responding smile.
"The boys have a lot of people around them, a lot of people that are here for them and have a part in their lives, and I want everyone to have their part with them, for them to have every inch of love in their lives that they can have,"
"Yes," Molly said slowly looking a little confused at where he was going with this.
"I would have loved for my mum to have met them and to have been a part of their lives, for them to have known her,"
"I'm sure she would have loved them, she would have loved being a grandma," Molly assured him.
"And I am sure she would not mind at all that they do have someone that is a Grandma in their lives, especially someone who has looked after and loved her son in a way no one else ever showed him,"
It took Molly a moment as she blinked at him and then the boys before she realised what he was saying, and then her eye filled with tears.
"Harry..."
"I would be honoured if you would be Grandma Molly to them,"
"Oh Harry!" She carefully placed Kilian in her lap before tugging him into a tight one armed hug that made his bones complain and his heart swell.
"I have never really said it before, because I was too embarrassed to be honest, but having the boys, and Lucius and his family have made me see things differently. You took in a little boy who had not had kind words or a kind hug in a long time, you have been there, quietly supporting me and offering me love and belief the whole time. You're an amazing woman who wouldn't let me go without a present on Christmas even though you hadn't met me yet, who opened up her home without a second thought even though you already had enough mouths to feed and Fred and George to keep up with..." Here Molly let out a wet laugh as tears escaped from her eyes. "You offered love to me without wanting anything back from me...and you will never have any idea what that has meant to me, never. Seeing you there for the Triwizard Tournament and knowing that I had a family that wanted and loved me, that I had someone who cared about me and who selflessly accepted me has given me more fight than I can thank you for. You are family to me, and you always will be, and I want the boys to know exactly who you are to them, and to have your love in their lives,"
Molly couldn't speak anything but 'Oh Harry' for the next ten minutes as she alternated between hugging him and hugging and kissing the boys. But her smile was so big it was nearly blinding an she looked so happy Harry knew that he had said the right things to her. Finally once they had both calmed down and were entertaining the boys Harry added.
"Besides I need a calming person around to keep an eye on what Sirius teaches them, Merlin knows Remus only gets pulled along in his plans,"
Molly blinked before she burst out laughing.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Harry groaned as Lucius' fingers dug into all the muscles that had been complaining over the last few days. Even with the slew of babysitters that appeared on a daily basis, he did not know how many times he had had to track Marcus down to retrieve his sons, he was frankly exhausted. And he ached in places he didn't know could ache, and this was from the boy that used to come back from four hour training sessions with Oliver Wood!
They were in their bedroom having a small amount of peace and quiet for once, Marcus and Bill were flirting over the pretense of babysitting their sons so that they could have some time alone together. They had just finished a relaxing bath together where they had done nothing but lie back and enjoy the heat of the water and each others company, Harry was practically boneless as he lay between Lucius' legs and absorbed the closeness of the man he loved.
When they got out the bath Lucius had encouraged Harry to lie on their bed and he had started to massage his muscles, relaxing all of the built up stress there with potions skilled fingers until Harry was relaxed and humming under his ministrations. A House elf had popped in ten minutes ago to deliver their meal, but it was sitting waiting for them under status charms in front of the fire.
"Are you going to tell me what you are up to then?" Lucius asked softly, his rich voice charm itself as he whispered in Harry's ear. The younger man shivered at the feeling of Lucius' hair brushing over his back, his weakness for the long golden hair something Lucius seemed to have discovered, and as a Slytherin had no problem in using to his advantage.
"No idea what you mean," Harry mumbled into the mattress.
"Ah ha. Remus and Sirius have moved in, the Weasleys have all announced their support for you, as has Hermione, Tonks, Kingsley and your section of the Order. Not to mention others who have been talked over by your clever friends, including McGonagall who is practically begging to get to meet the boys,"
"No plan," Harry shrugged.
"Really?" Lucius drawled making Harry lose the fight he had on hiding his grin. Turning his head so that he could see Lucius.
"Luna once said something to me. You're don't seem as scary when its just you, she was right, and she made me realise how much more powerful I was having my friends around me. She reminded me again of that the other day, and pointed out that it can work in reverse,"
"You're taking all of his power and support away from him making look, feel and be weaker, while taking all that power for us," Lucius nodded.
"I love how quickly your mind works," Harry grinned rolling over and cupping Lucius' face between his hands. Lucius smiled, honestly and warmly before he leant down to press their lips together.
"I love how sneaky and Slytherin you are," He murmured against Harry's lips making the younger man burst out laughing.
"Only you would use Slytherin as compliment," Harry snickered.
"Of course. Come on, supper before I eat you instead," Lucius groaned grabbing Harry and tugging him to his feet.
"I wouldn't be opposed to that," Harry groaned dragging his feet.
"Neither would I, but we haven't actually managed to have a calm, whole meal since the Killian and Maddock have come alone," Lucius prodded him to the table that they had set up for their meal together.
Harry smiled and kissed Lucius sweetly before sitting down in the chair that he pulled out for him. They settled down and started eating their starter while Harry twined their feet together underneath the table.
He just enjoyed the peace at first, no crying or fussing babies, no family gathered around, just them able to enjoy each others company and their free time together. Lucius reached over halfway through their meal and twined their fingers together, it was a little awkward eating one handed but they managed.
"Lucius," Harry said softly.
"Yes?"
"Connected to what we were speaking about earlier, about Dumbledore and my plans for him,"
"Yes," Lucius' eyes narrowed slightly as their plates were swapped out for their main meal.
"I have been thinking lately, and talking to Draco about what has been happening in Hogwarts, what happened to Ron, Hermione and I while we were there. I want Hogwarts, and I'm going to get it,"
"And when you have it?"
"I'm going to make sure that it is the place it should truly be, a school and a haven for magical children, muggleborn and pureblood. Children should feel safe at Hogwarts, safe to learn about their magic and safe to just be children. Our children should be able to feel safe at Hogwarts. That man has ruined what Hogwarts should be for long enough," Harry looked up and met Lucius' eyes and waited while the man he loved took in what he was saying and thought it over.
"Stop nibbling your lip, I am of course right beside you for this," Lucius smiled. "I know that it hasn't seemed it, but in the past I really have only had the best interests of the school at heart. I hated the way Dumbledore treated the Slytherins and singled them out, the way 1/4 of the school was always isolated and singled out. I agree with you," Lucius smiled tugging Harry's hand to kiss the back of it.
"Thank you,"
"On that note I have a gift for you, and the reason that I asked for tonight," Lucius took a box from his robes and placed it on the table. It was a small, square red box, intricate golden carvings were on it of course.
"You know if this is a ring you are a little late, I proposed first remember?" Harry quipped as he picked up the box and opened it to se a small vial with what looked like five drops of liquid in it at the most. He looked up to meet Lucius' eyes, question in his eyes.
"Its my promise to you fulfilled. Sirius. This potion will give him a new magical signature, his blood will become that of a Malfoy, and I have documents written up linking him into the Malfoy family as a bastard. Not the best position to be in, but the best protection we can give him. After that Alexander found glamours that can be used to make him look different to all but those who know the secret, it is a little like a Fidelius charm. He will be safe and free," Lucius smiled.
"Lucius..." Harry covered his mouth as his eyes filled with tears before he burst from his seat and threw himself at the blonde, alternating between repeating the word thank you over and over and over, and scattering kisses all over Lucius' face and lips.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Harry couldn't stop staring, it was just wrong, so completely and utterly wrong. Beside him Remus was hugging Maddock close to himself, Harry wasn't sure whether it was to protect him from the sight in front of him, or to protect himself.
"That's just...wrong!" Lucius shook his head holding Killian close to himself.
"Seriously wrong," Harry nodded.
"Well what do you think?" Sirius asked turning to them.
"Its wrong," Harry, Lucius, Remus, Severus, Alexander, Marcus, Fred, George, Molly and Victoria all said at once.
"Thanks!" Sirius pouted.
"Blonde is not your colour!" Harry shrugged.
"Fine cast the spell," Sirius huffed. Alexander said the spell and Sirius' blonde hair and sharper cheekbones melted away and he became himself again in front of their eyes though he was still wearing the pout. "I thought I suited being a blonde,"
"You suit being free," Harry smiled standing and hugging his godfather.
"Thank you kiddo," Sirius hugged him close. "And thank you Lucius, really, thank you,"
Lucius nodded taking the hand offered to him and shook it firmly. But his eyes were only for the pure joy on Harry's face. Green eyes met his own and he smiled at the look directed at him, everything was worth it for the love he could easily read in those eyes, the love that Harry freely and totally offered him. It made everything worth it, even in the fight that they had to come.
