Summary
Pressed into the Galra military at a young age, Keith finds purpose and belonging when he is recruited by Prince Lotor. Keith finds a family amongst Lotor's generals, and Lotor himself.
But the reality of war requires sacrifices and hard choices. As obstacles pile on and the stakes rise, Keith finds himself forced to make difficult decisions. When forced to decide, though, Keith knows where his loyalties lie.
Keith will always choose Lotor.

mn, it's insanely good. well written and fleshed out like almost no other fic i've ever read. i certainly never read any fic with this amount of worldbuilding and i don't think i ever will. positively insane. perhaaaaps it had a tiny bit too much of filler? not that it bothered me much. angst was great, garlan keith is amazing, the slight codependency is delightful, what more could i ask for?
the one thing that left me wondering is if they managed to prolong keith's lifespan? i imagine that yes, but it's been bothering me a little since the beginning lmao
