Summary
Cool fingers come to circle around his forearm, thumb pressing in the soft underside where the veins turn blue under Steve’s skin. Gently Eddie slides his hand down, down towards Steve’s hand.
“Stop thinking so much, let it do what it knows to do. Like your blood, it’ll flow where it needs to. Just allow yourself to feel it. The warmth. Chase it.”
Slowly his body softens and he can see the ribbons dip into his palm. The tips of his fingers prickled with heat.
Eddie presses his thumb into the center of his hand where the flower is, “Let it gather here. Let it simmer. Let it erupt.”
With a small gasp, Steve feels himself give and then the heat in his hand is bright.
His eyes fly open just in time to see the small flame he’s holding—holding in his hand. The flower gone.
A laugh bubbles out.
He looks up to find Eddie smiling at him, watching him in amazement.
“I knew you had a fire inside of you.”

The girls laugh ahead of them. People part around Steve. He keeps his eyes on Eddie. Glint still there, mischievous and taunting, head cocked to the side like an interested puppy.
Play with me. Take the bait.
He won’t. He can’t.
This is meaningless fun. It’s just a game. To Steve.
To Eddie…it feeds. And he doesn’t need that part of his brain, his heart, fed.

Summary
As a private investigator, Jeon Jungkook's job consists mainly of spying on rich trophy wives and reporting their affairs back to their husbands, making a pretty penny and moving on with his life. But when he's employed to follow the husband of one of Korea's wealthiest men, he can't wrap his head around why. After all, Park Jimin does nothing all day except lounging with a book, going on shopping sprees and yoga classes, and occasionally helping out at the local shelter.
