    He didn’t know what it first started. He first noticed the changes occurring after he first came back from the dead. He would be sitting in class and would suddenly notice his fingertips start to twitch. He would reach to grab for something and his left hand would lock up for a minute. The slits under his eyes would irritate him at various times throughout the day. And if Yuuji was honest with himself—if he listened carefully—he would notice that his heartbeat’s rhythm was somehow different from what he remembered.
