Summary
Peter Parker is not having a great time after the whole Multiverse Fiasco.
He is trying to juggle two jobs at a time, and barely getting by even though he doesn't do anything other than work and sleep, and has a pretty shitty apartment. A college is not even in question. He can't go out and be Spider-Man either, can't even hold the suit in his hands without feeling like vomiting. All in all, his life is a mess.
And then, he runs into Strange while he's fighting an other-worldly-looking monster; and accidentally falls through a portal. He wakes up in an alternate universe, in a city called Gotham.
Peter, knowing that there isn't even anyone who knows him and would look for him back in his home universe, thinks that he's stuck there. Permanently.
He decides to make the most of it.

On a more depressing note, the city was named Gotham, infamous for some pretty grim nicknames—many calling it the crime capital of America, and third: He was pretty sure this was hell.
Hell would be the only thing that could explain that he was here after being snapped to dust on Titan, right?

Summary
Peter was alone, mid-way through an existential crisis after the Erasure™ and was dreading the upcoming month of May.
Jason was sick of people telling him how he felt. ‘You don’t need us anymore,’ Artemis had told him, as if saying it would make it true. As if Jason needed someone to justify keeping them around. But three weeks back in Gotham and all Jason felt was fucking bored and lonely.
It was a relief, then, when some random New Yorker was thrown into his living room through a portal straight out of some LSD daydream.
Finally, something interesting to deal with.
Cue some wild family misunderstandings, criminal conspiracies and cults.
Because there’s always a goddamn cult.
