Summary
Finally, Loki turned, moving toward the edge of the balcony, his back to Strange. But before he could speak again, he glanced over his shoulder, his smile faint but full of meaning.
“You fear what you can’t control, Strange.” His voice was lighter now, teasing. “I wonder... how long until that fear becomes something more.”
Doctor Strange didn’t reply at once, but his pulse was racing, his mind at war with itself. Loki’s words had gotten under his skin in a way that unsettled him, more than he cared to admit.
“I don’t fear you,” Strange finally said, the words slipping out in a quieter, almost dangerous tone. “But you will test my patience.”
(After a week of trying to save the Multiverse, Loki finds some alone time away from everything and everyone until Doctor Strange arrives at his door.)

“Do you believe in life beyond death?” Jayce's eyes trembled with a quiet, sorrowful tenderness, and something deeper, an emotion Viktor couldn’t quite name, something intricately entwined in a web of unsaid thoughts and feelings.
“I do.”
A thick silence engulfed the room, broken only by the rhythmic hum of the machines that clung to him like a lifeline, keeping him steady and conscious. Viktor could feel Jayce's unwavering gaze upon him.
"I like to believe that this is all there is," Viktor continued.
Jayce's voice cracked, raw with emotion. "I don't," he replied, his words unraveling in the space between them. Viktor turned to face him, his eyes tracing Jayce’s downcast expression, hands clenched in a tight grip around the sheets that lay between them, near Viktor’s hand. "I don't," Jayce repeated, his voice now firmer, "I want another chance. A second, a third even."
“For what?” Viktor asked, his words cutting through the air.
Jayce met his gaze, his lips trembling, his eyes burning with a desire Viktor couldn’t fully understand. “To do the right thing.”
