Summary
Wen Ruohan, who always thought of himself as the strongest, was stabbed in the back by one that he trusted. Now, as a ghost, he was perfectly content to just watch his killers struggle under all of the post war pressures. That was until they started killing innocent people just because they were wens. And he got the shock of his lifetime when Wei Wuxian, the powerful demonic cultivator who was the biggest reason behind his downfall, stepped up and saved the dafan wens. He continues watching over their lives in the burial mound, their fun and playful times and the moment everything went downhill. Wen Qing and Wen Ning took up the Jin's offer and sacrificed themselves. Little did they know that their sacrifice was for nothing. When Ruohan watches as the broken demonic cultivator scrambles up an unknown array, hearing Wei Ying muttering to himself about a time traveling array he pours all of his energy into it. And the entire world becomes black. What felt like hours later Wen Ruohan wakes up, alive and in the scorching sun palace. There he makes one quick decision, to adopt wei wuxian and make sure that his genius and cultivation have all the place it needs to grow to its full potential.
