Summary
Ten generations ago, quirks appeared for the first time, and now 99.9% of the population have quirks. Five generations ago, soulmate-identifying marks started appearing on everyone except for the quirkless. To prevent societal complications, marriage licenses are now only awarded to soulmates. To cut down on the number of unfortunate souls born without a quirk and without a soulmate, all relations with quirkless individuals are now forbidden by law.
