Summary
The world he fell into was nothing like he knew. It looked the same, felt the same and smelt the same, but it was completely different. When in complete calmness you could notice this difference but when you wake up in an unfamiliar field with the sound of sheep blaring above you, this calmness is like an unsolved mystery to you. Just like how you would not notice the strangeness, Matthew also did not notice a single strange thing, well… except being nowhere near home that is.

Summary
Samuel wants to go to the College of New Light, which is a place where one can learn magic, with his friend Khalsik. The only problem is that humans don’t possess magic, if they would want to use it, they would need a patron who is willing to give them some of their magic. While Samuel is trying his best to find a patron, Khalsik is trying to find a way to suppress part of his magic because he has a lot of problems controlling it and is too afraid to go to the college on his own.
