Vi searched through her pocket and tossed Caitlyn’s red necklace at Jinx’s feet. It was stained with the blood she had choked on, along with a fragment of her white collar, now marred by the same crimson, familiar hue.
Jinx’s eyes went wide, the shock in them sharp and immediate, her pupils dilating, breath catching. For a long moment, she stared at the necklace, the blood, the fragments of her enemy. Of the person that had took her sister away from her.
