Summary
Gale's reaction was like the hiccup of a heartbeat. His gentle hands suddenly tensed around my face, then released just as quickly and he stroked my cheek in apology.
"Tav... Did you just say...? Taveela, can you hear me?"
His face swam in and out of my vision as a new wave of the burning heat roared through my veins. He held onto me with delicate care, but the intensity of his gaze bored into my very soul.
"I need you to listen to me. I- I think, well of course I can't be sure without further study— What I wouldn't give to have access to a library—"
"No tangents right now, wizard," Astarion snapped from somewhere over my head.
"Yes, yes, what I mean to say is that I think- I think, Tav… that you might… might be an omega."Tadpoles and cults are barely the half of it for Taveela. In a world where Alphas are rare and Omegas are no more than a myth, Tav and her companions are landed with her sudden presentation and must navigate how best to see her through her heat, whilst continuing their quest to rid the Sword Coast of the Cult of the Absolute. Will all of them find the love and family they'd always yearned for... or will they tear each other to shreds first?

Summary
Kind of a transitionary story; Calla finds that with her and Halsin's sleeping arrangements over the past tenday, she may have become too dependent on him. He leaves after they find Art Cullagh and she has to find a way to hear the shadow curse on her own.
Notable CWs (sorry this short was written after I personally had a bad night and it's a little heavy): very light emetophobia (in the very first sentence), mentions of night terrors and panic attacks.
Like I mentioned in another story, their ship isn't necessarily canon to the BG3 story - it was just designed to show how sensitive Calla is to natural magic and the curse given her background.

Summary
It becomes quickly apparent to Astarion that if he doesn’t sate one hunger, he will have to sate another, worse one.
In which the tadfools are outnumbered, and it is Cazador's unlucky day. Or, in this universe, all of Astarion's siblings are tadpoled in the nautiloid without him. Meanwhile, back in Baldur's Gate, Astarion gets involved with the local murder-cult conspiracy.

Summary
Vengeance. That was what had led her back to Baldur's Gate. But it had been denied to her when she found herself on a Nautiloid only moments later, destined to stumble into a journey that would change everything. So far, things went well. The parasite in her skull proved useful, and the chance of surviving all the madness and returning to the city grew ever closer. But then she entered a cursed land, and its shadows haunted her.

Summary
This is just going to be a collection of otherwise unwritten stuff from around the acts that I thought would be cute to cover, and act as kind of supplementals to other moments in the series. (And it's also an excuse to write Astarion before he comes back into the story proper again because I miss my bitchy mean boy.)
Definitely part of More Graves, More Graveyards, but probably could be read in isolation.Series

Summary
He’d had months to wrap his head around the concept, and still, here he was, absolutely baffled as to how they’d gotten here. Even he could admit, privately, in his own mind, that seven was maybe a slightly unreasonable number of children to have.
There wasn’t anything else that needed his attention at the moment, though, and so, with his to-do list cleared, he’d turned his mind to the task he’d been given by his darling wife, who was currently taking a well-earned rest in the bed nearby.
For Elves, the choosing of a name was not something to be taken lightly, especially a child’s name. With that in mind, each of their children’s names had been chosen with the utmost care and reverence for the little life they’d made, names given to represent their hopes and dreams for their children, to provide them a connection that always led back home.
Or: Astarion is tasked with naming his son, because it's his fault they didn't have one ready in the first place. Searching for inspiration, he thinks of his other children, revisiting his memories of their births, re-experiencing the emotional highs and lows of each one, and remembering the stories of their names.

Summary
Gale had desperately clasped Astarion's wrist, preventing him from fully wrenching away. From fleeing. And for a brief moment Astarion was ready to lash out with all of the feral fury a starving spawn had to offer.
The memory of that scorching touch was like a scar. The imprint of his lightly calloused, bare palm on Astarion's slender wrist was an invisible, white-hot brand upon his flesh. It was only Gale's wide, worried eyes and immediate surrender of Astarion's captured limb that saved him from being torn to ribbons by long-forgotten vampiric claws.
He loathed it. Touching and being touched.
People did not touch Astarion and survive.
Astarion did not touch people destined to live.
---
Astarion has a complicated relationship with physical touch. It brings up a wellspring of memories best left forgotten, and he doesn't even know if he could enjoy it anymore should he ever let anyone close enough to try... or five times Astarion sees Gale being held and has a lot of difficult feelings about it + the one time he does it himself and knows exactly how he feels about it.

Summary
“You’re quiet today,” Wyll murmurs, tilting his square chin up so that Astarion can carefully slide his razor across that glorious long neck of his. “Penny for your thoughts?”
Astarion pretends the razor requires his utmost concentration, as he knows Wyll will be looking at him with those big, brown eyes, with concern perhaps, and he struggles enough with his freakish desire to bow to every little whim Wyll has.
“I was ruminating over tonight’s ball, Your Grace,” Astarion answers, keeping his tone aloof. He ignores Wyll’s reaction to the title, the way he freezes and frowns. “Has the Prince Regent set you up with every young, eligible lady in the Ton yet?”
Duke Wyll Ravengard is the talk of the Ton; back home from his service in the navy, he's the perfect candidate for marriageable young ladies to fawn all over.
He's certainly not an appropriate person for his loyal valet, Astarion, to yearn for. And yet...

Summary
If the gods will not have you, perhaps they will not have those you have soiled so profusely, either; perhaps the soul of Alfira will be re-strung throughout the afterlife like the garland you’ve made her into in this one.
Mazeiah seeks absolution for his overwhelming guilt, but finds none. There is no forgiveness- only growth.
-This is currently undergoing a rewrite! I've updated the first two chapters and plan to release more a little after the holidays. Thank you for your understanding! :) <3

Summary
A land of perpetual shadow and darkness should be exciting, familiar even. There’s always a shadow waiting for him to slip into, plenty of undead wraiths to dull his blades on, and many abandoned buildings to pilfer for gold and trinkets.
He hates it.

The Shadow-Cursed Lands are kind to no one. Astarion is no exception. It's hitting him harder than he expected, in more ways than one.

Summary
"We haven't spoken since that day you left, but you... you thought of me?"
Astarion hesitates, hope a fragile thing, doubly so for his double desires. "All this time?"
Gale chuckles at that - if he only knew the days and nights he ticked away thinking of him, worrying for his safety. Truthfully, he thought often of their entire party. He worried about Karlach and Wyll in Avernus, of Lae'zel in the astral plane, of Shadowheart and her parents - but no single member of their party occupied his thoughts like Astarion. In ways he never considered, Astarion took up residence in his mind, in his heart. Gale smiled softly, running his fingers through his greying hair. "Of course.”
—
Having gone their separate ways after the fall of The Absolute, Gale and Astarion meet once more at the reunion party and discover they’d both been rather foolish.

Summary
More often than not, Astarion could not believe his life was real.
He not believe this was his life, but he was thankful every day that it was. Despite the hell he had been through, he was glad it led him to his Weirdos. If only he could tell his past self this. Perhaps it would have made his servitude under Cazador somewhat easier, knowing there was a way out no matter how far off into his life.
He was sure his companions would do the same. Just a kind hand and a whisper of, ‘It will be okay. Hang on.’

Post-game Astarion comforts early spawn Astarion. Lots of feels, lots of comfort.

Summary
Heir isn’t what most people picture when they think of a hero. They can’t fight (or at least, not in the heroic way most would prefer), they’re not particularly intelligent, and they’ve got a nasty habit of walking directly into danger without any sort of plan. But they’ve got a heart of gold (well, if you don’t count the murderous impulses) and friends on their side, so they just might actually manage to save the day, and perhaps even all of Faerün. Or they’ll die trying. Frankly, it might just end up being both, with their luck.
Or: What if your entire party got snatched by Mindflayers and now you have to deal with potentially turning into one yourself, while trying not to get murdered along the way by enemies and your own party? On top of that, you’re filled with an insatiable lust for blood, which is probably a cause for concern, but your traveling companions have just accepted this about you. You may be stuck in the wrong genre, but that won’t stop you from being a hero!

Summary
Shadowheart wasn't fond of wolves, that much was obvious. But when she was forced to travel with a werewolf under dire circumstances, she started to wonder if there could be an exception. She also could not, for the life of her, figure out why a complete stranger could stir up such a sense of familiarity in her, even within the limited fragments of her broken memories.
A healing journey in which Shadowheart recovers the missing pieces of her forgotten childhood.
Or:
Aquila (Tav) had already lost Shadowheart once before, and they weren't going to lose her again.

Summary
A street-smart, musically inclined human girl with a tragic past gets abducted by a nautiloid after her painfully average shift at a retro singing diner. What's worse- putting your all into Olivia Newton-John and Travolta for lousy tips, or getting your guts ripped out by a gnoll? Or worse- getting turned into a hideous humanoid squid?
Ofelia Montez will have to see if she can survive long enough to find out.

AAAACHK! I am so excited to share this story!!! It's been a passion project since April of this year, and I've been lovingly chipping away at Ofelia in the hopes I could finally unveil her to the world! She's fiery, sometimes smart, and she definitely doesn't know what to do with her more gooey feelings. She'll become a chaotic-good bard, and she just wants to open up and laugh with people once she finally gets to know them.
This fic will alternate between both Ofelia and Astarion's POVs, with excerpts from the other characters when the narrative suits it!
UPDATE: Starting 10/06/24, this series will update every other Sunday! Updates and delay info will always be on my tumblr here ! 🖤 Ty for reading as always. 🖤
