Brought to a brand new world, partner in hand, Jayce and Viktor stumble through what they believe is the afterlife. A cabin in the middle of an endless forest. It seems like more than they deserve- But pieces keep falling out of place. It’s like they’ve been here before, an unknown past life echoes through as they pick the pieces of themselves back together. Can they trust this strange utopia? Or is it another cruel illusion of the arcane?AKA Jayce and Viktor don't die in the astral plane, but are shot into a parallel dimension. They get a second chance to make amends, to be friends, partners, once more.

“I do not recall telling you my name.” Viktor stated matter-of-factly. “Yet you know it. Have we met?” Yes. Many times. Practically lived together inside their lab, but he couldn’t tell Viktor that. No, this Viktor had no idea who Jayce really was, and he intended on keeping it that way.
Jayce stumbled on his own thoughts trying to find an answer. Shit. Viktor is right, he wasn’t supposed to tell Jayce his name until later in his apartment. Damn it. “Uh—“ he stalled as he tried to think of a lie. “H-Heimerdinger had mentioned you once. You’re his assistant, right? Snarky Undercity kid with an accent? Not many other people here who fit that description.”

After the Hexcore collapsed, Jayce gets sent back to where it all started, the day he met Viktor, but Viktor seems to have no recollection of him. What happens when Jayce gets another chance, knowing what he knows now.
My take on Season 2 Jayce with Season 1 Viktor until Viktor eventually remembers everything and they live happily ever after because I refuse to give these two any more sad endings!
No idea how many chapters this will have, we're just gonna roll with it until the dopamine stops.

It takes place after Viktor is changed by the Hexcore. He goes away, disturbed by what his partner has done (creating weapons and somewhat turning him into Rio). It has been a while, and Jayce hasn't been able to function normally, driven by his desire to find Viktor and make things right.
In the meantime, Viktor has started his commune. This time, he doesn’t change his followers into brainless puppets; he only fixes what truly needs to be fixed. However, every time he uses his powers, a larger part of him is consumed, putting his life—and his humanity—in danger.

There’s a cure - an easy one - in Piltover. Cait had had it once, as a young teen, for a girl from House Ferros. She had taken three weeks of antibiotics the moment her cough had become bad and it had immediately subsided.
Jayce could get to Piltover, but it’s been destroyed.
“I’m going to die in this pit,” he rasps.
(Or: Jayce contracts Hanahaki disease while stuck in the fissures. Viktor doesn't care, until he does.)
