My instincts screamed at me to get away, to shout for help, to do something other than lie there and accept my unprecedented death. It was useless. The window screeched open, and with it, the growl of death.

With sun-seared skin, Astarion disappears after the Netherbrain is defeated, taking Tia's plans with him. So, the drow gets reacquainted with the ferocity of the dark on their own terms.
Until Astarion resurfaces, won't leave well enough alone, and must make it everyone else's problem too.
If only Tia wasn't just as stubborn as he is.
