Summary
Arret, a young orphaned girl who has ambitious dreams of becoming a musician to honor her late parents, faces the unfortunate reality that she is unlikely to ever achieve that. She's hand selected for a project, unbeknownst to her, and after believing she's finally being adopted- her whole life falls apart (again) leading her into a situation she didn't ever imagine could exist.
Due to being unwilling altered at the hands of cruel scientists, she deeply struggles with her autonomy and what it even means to be human.
Meeting a certain avian boy drastically changes her views on everything.
