Summary
An unidentified muffled noise rings through Yujin's flat, nothing else can be heard except a faint whisper. Usually at 1 am, only a few exhausted workers lurk around in the darkness, mainly to return home. But that's it. Familiarly, loud music on some days would pierce through the thin walls shamelessly disturbing her sleep, but it slowly became comforting after some time. Almost. The sound was muffled, making it difficult to identify its source. Eventually, the woman decided to confront it and wished she never did.
"Yujin-ah, where were you at work?" Those soft-spoken words were the last things reaching her ears before the darkness engulfed her world.
