It wasn’t too hard to envision; Jason would’ve been about Annabeth’s age if he were still alive.
A tap on the hand brought her back to reality suddenly. She opened her eyes and made eye contact with Luke, who was watching her with concern. She glanced away, trying to blink away the tears building behind her eyelids.
