    Summary

Young detective Stanford Pines has been assigned the task of investigating a strange string of murders around a small, cult infested, suburban town called Billville. Partnered with charismatic cult leader Silas Birchtree (who is NOT a corpse being piloted by a yellow triangle), Ford is sure this case will be solved quickly. So why does he have such a bad feeling about this?

    Summary

Stanford Filbrick Pines is an outstanding detective, in his early thirties.
Fate or, to put it less lyrically, his own father forced him to abandon the occupation of his whole life — the study of anomalies — in order to find a more mundane and, of course, feasible job.
However, the same fate can sometimes be too ironic. The detective's current assignment is to find out about the unfolding cult of Ciphertology in the now renamed city.
Silas Birchtree (Obviously not a corpse, controlled by a demon of dreams and chaos) finds Stanford's savvy extremely attractive. It's as if one person, without the help of mindless cult members, some of whom literally, is able to build a cherished portal.
