“I think you should leave,” Aramis hears himself say, “I can feel him coming. And he knows you’re here.”
He wiggles his toes in thought, and by the cool expanse beneath his feet he is reminded that they are in the hallway. “Flagstone, though. Not too hard to clean the blood up afterwards.”
The men rush at him but they make it only a few steps. Something huge and dark slips almost silently through the doors, and then there are sounds, lots of them, wet and screaming.
Aramis stands and closes his eyes calmly until the sounds stop.
Something bumps beneath his loose fingers and pushes his hand up until it is laying against soft warm fur, the huge expanse of animal muscle and sinew beneath.
“Hello d’Artagnan,” Aramis says.”

” He slams the last man to the ground in a heap and turns, breathlessly, to see the Musketeer toeing a fallen body with his boot, hand flexing around the grip of his sword. The man looks up and smiles, dazzling and so easy it startles Porthos.
The moment stretches, all ticing muscles and huffs of breath.
“Aramis,” the man says, holding out his hand.
“Porthos,” he answers, not taking it.
“Good to meet you. I think we should probably run now,” the Musketeer says amiably, flicking his head at something over Porthor’s shoulder. He hears footsteps from the alley behind him, and without even bothering to look, follows Aramis’s sprinted flight.
Why the hell is he going with this man?
But the string tugs, and he follows.
”OR, How Porthos met a Musketeer named Aramis, got his scar, left the Court of Miracles, and began to really live.

D’Artagnan is arrested for a string of murders and so much more that has many sickened and questioning all they know about the Gascon. His brothers and Treville truly believe he is innocent, and the King, Queen and Constance also believe but even they have doubts. The King had many doubts but not about his friend's innocence, since he had become close with D’Artagnan. But the Gascon softly instructed him to let this run its course as he didn’t want the King to interfere as if the King did it would look like Louis was letting a monster walk or had sanctioned the deaths himself. And D’Art knew that would be disastrous for the Monarchy.
When he is sentenced to death, he knows he must do something drastic. He has his secrets and knows he’ll have to use them to his advantage. So, he escapes and makes his way to the only home he really had ever know outside the Musketeers. The Court of Miracles. His former home. Well not quite former as he always remained in contact with them. He jumps into his former life as the ‘Shadow of Miracles’ and he must find a way to clear his name. Between him, his friends and Brothers can they clear his name and give him his life back or will he be forced to stay in the Court of Miracles?Series

D’Artagnan is hiding a secret. That he fears his new Brothers would hate him or be in fear of him for. He is not human. He is a werewolf. That must transform regularly if he does not want to hurt people or lose his mind. Only Treville knows his secret. When he and his Brothers are attacked by a Pack of Mongrels, D’Artagnan shifts to save his Brothers. But when he finished fighting them off, he turns to his Brothers and step forward and he sees what he hoped to never see. He escorts them back to Paris and resigns his commission to got to the Council of Werewolves and tell them the problem. But doesn’t expect to come back alive. Can his Brothers find him and explain their actions…as wolves that lose their Packs are prone to madness…
