Summary

She bares her teeth in a mockery of a smile, blood pumping, heart beating and steps forward as her lips part. The name comes then, on the tip of her tongue, new yet not unknown. Because Nezuko knows this name, this feeling, this. Saying their name feels like coming home, safety and surety and together, like she’s never quite been whole until now. “Zangetsu.”
And the world stops. Freezes. Then. It explodes in a burst of red-tinged black flames.
