Summary
Xaden royally screws up. He knows there’s a betrayer and “all the signs pointed towards his cousin” so he had to let him go. But he had to hurt him first to prove his point. It wasn’t until the betrayer was caught that Xaden realized the extent of his fuck up. He had played right into someone else's hand. Lost sight of his family when he got so caught up in Violet, the love of his life. That he couldn’t see straight.
This is inspired by Ramzes' "The Final Mending."
The plot is different, but I wouldn't have thought this up without reading that.
