Summary
Maybe it wasn’t a good idea, to do all this, to find out the truth. But they really had to keep pushing, didn’t they? Even when reality crushed them, they ‘needed to know’. All 'he' did was offer a few notes, but nothing that would lead to the truth if they left it all alone. It was more of a distraction. Oh well, as the saying goes, you fuck around, you find out.
