  Summary

  “I can’t imagine a world where I know you, but have never felt love for you,” Carlos had told Cecil. “Maybe it wouldn’t look the same in every timeline, but I believe that every version of me, if he has met you and could still be called 'me' at all, loves every version of you.” But then, the two travel to a world where Desert Bluffs won the war against Strex instead of Night Vale, and where Carlos’ counterpart fell for Kevin long before he ever met a broken, blood-soaked Cecil in a lonely desert otherworld. As two chiral timelines collide around them, Carlos and Cecil are forced to face their unspoken feelings about Kevin, and Carlos’ hypothesis is put to the test.
