Summary
The Isle of Balar, though safe, was a sanctuary marked by loss.
Souls wandered like shadows, bearing wounds of battles left behind and sorrows gathered in their hearts, yet they clung together, drawn to this place by the shared weight of fate. Among them, Séredhiel had emerged as a light that offered both peace and hope. She had neither title nor the skills of a healer, but the people sought her presence. Her words, like a gentle song, reminded them of home. Her stories brought warmth, and her laugh seemed woven from the last threads of joy they'd known before sorrow claimed them.
From across the encampment, Gil-Galad watched her move among the gathered refugees. Her deep brown hair, though tousled from the island’s winds, caught a glimmer of sunlight, adding an ethereal warmth to her presence. She was barely tall enough to reach his shoulder, yet even from a distance, her presence was as profound as any figure of noble blood. And though he could command armies and fortify kingdoms, Gil-Galad felt strangely unarmored as he watched her laugh with a child, as if the troubles of the world had momentarily melted in her embrace...

Summary
It was one of those days. The quiet seemed sharper, somehow, as though the weight in your chest made everything feel a bit colder. You curled up, a mug warming your hands, looking out the round window of Bag End without really seeing anything. Frodo was nearby, sitting with a book on his lap, but you could tell he wasn’t reading either.
The room was filled with a gentle, unspoken understanding. Neither of you had the energy for cheerful chatter or brave faces. You glanced over, watching the way Frodo’s shoulders slumped slightly forward, his eyes downcast as if he, too, was lost somewhere deep inside his thoughts. It hurt to see him this way, but there was also comfort in knowing you weren't alone.

Summary
As Frodo lay in the quiet of Rivendell, the early morning light crept softly through the finely embroidered curtains, bathing the room in a gentle, golden glow. The warmth barely reached him, though, for he lay propped against a thick pile of pillows, his face pale and his eyes tired. He blinked as the light brushed over his closed lids, and a small smile tugged at his mouth as he saw who sat at his bedside.
Strider.
No—Aragorn.
The ranger had taken his usual place in the chair by the bed, leaning forward, hands clasped as though he'd fallen asleep mid-guard.

Summary
“_ It’s true! You’re not one of us. Just look at you—only half of what you should be. You’ll never be a real elf.”
The words cut deep, piercing through the walls Híthien had built to protect herself. But she wasn’t going to let them see her pain. She lifted her chin, her voice trembling with barely contained fury.
“_ I may be half-elf.”; She shot back. “ But at least I don’t need to tear others down to feel important.”
The boy’s face twisted in anger.
Without warning, he lunged at her, shoving her with enough force to send her stumbling back again. She barely managed to stay on her feet, her chest heaving with rage. She lunged back, her small fists swinging as she caught his shoulder. He pushed her harder, and she staggered, her body bracing for another fall.
But then, a commanding voice cut through the din like a blade.
“_ That is enough!”

Summary
The halls of Rivendell echoed with the lively chatter of Dwarves, a stark contrast to the usual elven quietude. Willa Softfoot tried to keep to the edges of the room, her gaze flickering between the elegant arches and the Company, who were unabashedly filling the space with laughter and boasts.
“_ Look who’s trying to hide.”; A familiar voice murmured by her ear. Willa jumped, then turned, looking up to find Kíli grinning down at her, his eyes dancing with amusement.
“_ Oh, I’m not hiding.”; She replied quickly, crossing her arms in an attempt at confidence. “ Merely… appreciating the architecture.”
“_ Ah, so you’re a scholar now?”; Kíli teased, raising an eyebrow as he leaned in closer. His curly hair fell slightly over one shoulder, framing his face, and Willa had to force herself not to stare.
“_ Yes, I am.”; She replied, her chin lifting defiantly. “ Elrond explained the carvings on that pillar earlier, and I happen to remember all of it.”
