  Summary

  Friar Laurence is a tortured soul.

  It's not unusual. Most priests, monks, and friars are. Either particularly tortured or particularly calm; that's what drives them to God's work. But the Friar has never really let go of his past; his love, his life, the man he used to be.

  His indecision will lead to a heartbreak worse than anything he's known before.
