  Summary

  Although she hadn’t realized it then, Carmen Anita Sanchez would make the worst decision of her life, walking into a nightclub and meeting The Vampire Louis de pointe du Lac. In June 2023, nearly four years after their disastrous encounter, Louis reached out, offering a career-launching opportunity to redo their failed interview in Dubai. However, nothing is as it seems, and with the introduction of The Vampire Armand, Carmen begins to realize that to survive, she’ll have to outwit the cunning vampires before her. Will she make it out alive with a story to tell? Or will the stakes prove to be far too significant?
