    It's set in 2002! At least, that's the calendar I've been following for my iwn convenience, and it just happened to be when RS were released - they haven't yet reached peak with Emerald but they're close

    Oh I absolutely get you though LOL Pokémon is something special. I'm glad people don't mind me bringing it up constantly
