   This quote made me feel ALL the feelings oh man, I really enjoyed this. You perfectly captured exactly what that quote talks about, a moment of softness between these two that both of them know has an end neither want. The emotions and carefulness is so clear you can physically feel the barriers between them slowly crumble. Thank you for sharing this, I absolutely love it!

      Yes, my heart aches for both of them early on in the season. I think Magnus is old enough to recognize that there's really something there. I think that's why he keeps fighting so hard. And the fact that Alec's breaking both of their hearts while keeping everyone else in the forefront of his mind is really what does me in. I think it's why, in my head at least, Magnus could never be truly angry with him because everything Alec does is an act of devotion. I adore when they finally get together because Alec can channel that unrelenting love into their relationship.
